So Familiar a Gleam: Diagnet!

This post are for network posts using the phones that all citizens of Diagad own. The phone connects to the internet- which is mostly full of the latest heroics of the city, warnings from the government and plenty of cat videos.

There is a popular forum space for the city where people can post in text, video or voice notes. There is also a phone book that lists everyone in the city for direct messaging.

In both cases, because no one- hero or otherwise- is capable of preparing to defend against something that's completely outside the context of their reality. The entity that brought us all here seems to be outside the context of most realities, and- unlike Nautilus- unfortunately seems to actually be malevolent. It's been the cause of several disasters, including two that nearly wiped out entire populations.

"And what is it that it wants of us? Can we not just give it that so we can return home and to our lives?"

That may be difficult, since I suspect that what it wants is us. Maybe not us specifically, but people to populate its illusory city.

What we need to figure out is why. Though that's likely to be easier said than done.

"There are plenty of people who would love the adventure of living on some other world, it could take them and let us get on with our lives!"
