You protect this place? Alone? This receives confirmation, but for the latter question, there is a pause, then a feeling like a shake of the head.
Not the same, the feeling suggests.
The Forever One only takes as much energy as they believe they need, one last thanks given before they stop, not wanting to leave Wangji without. A quiet settles, and then, from the ground small plants begin to sprout from the ground. It has a few tiny buds for the leaves, and grows in a rather long row.
The light prickling sensation returns to Wangji, so the Forever One can directi:
Dig up. Take to where hole is. Set down (before it).
Clearly, the Forever One has a plan with this plant and the holes in the way...
Fortunately for the presence this is not the strangest thing to happen to Wangji. He feels the drain cease and takes his hand away, gives it a little shake to get the blood flowing and then crouches down to do as he's bid.
"Not alone, but with others like yourself? Or similar?" Wangji muses, earth getting under his nails in a way he isn't sure he likes. He gently plucks the root ball from the ground, trying not to leave anything behind and then takes it to the hole he was directed to.
"Will the plant be crucial for our success?" He asks as he sets it down and wonders if he needs to fill the hole with dirt.
It is the hole of the bridge, nothing to bury it with. But as Wangji sets the plant down, there is no need for an answer to be given - rather, one starts to grow. Rapidly, the roots twist around the wood, having a place to cling; the plant itself starts to grow out, up, around, turning into vine-like greenery that expand.
Wangji may need to take a step back, as some of it grips onto the once-railing that ends where the hole has been made; and then, from the 'floor' of the bridge, the plant starts to reach out across the hold that deters them. Falling at first, until- a wind blows, gently holding it up to keep growing - letting it reach the other side of the broken bridge.
It's not at first safe to cross, but the plant continues, returning where it came. Weaving into itself, quicker now that it's fully grown.
Until soon, the gap between two sides has been filled in by the vine-like plant, thick and sturdy.
"That." Lan Wangji mutters, watching the delicate strand twisting around itself and stepping back to let it settle, "Is far more convenient." He bows in the direction of the statue, then places his hand on the vine. "I will continue, if I see another such plant should I attempt to do this again?"
