For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

The comms are a bit crackly and can distorted especially if trying to talk over islands but they do work.

It'd be incredibly helpful if you could help teleport over some materials. From the sounds of it, the southern island doesn't have nearly as much wood as we've got up there [ OR AT LEAST NOT AN.. ENTIRE HUGE FOREST.. ] so I would like to send some material down there so that bridge can get repaired as well.

[ Because even if Inigo might not fully understand teleporting magic, it sounds so much better than having to carry all these big heavy branches over there. ]

I've gathered a lot, so it could just be all brought over there in one go. [ Considering - what sounds like - the limited nature of Essek's magic. ]

Yes... that would be more than doable. Having it all together would be best. My teleportation magics could.. hm, I believe transport what would constitute a fair amount of materials within the limits of the weaker magics here. [The magical weave here makes it tricky, but after testing some limits on some of his spellwork today, he believes he has a fair idea how much would safely teleport with him.]

I am on the northern island, so we can gather what he have available currently and in the morning I can teleport it.

[ There's definite relief in his tone when he replies. You don't know how much easier you're making his life right now, Essek. ]

That's such a big help. I don't know how sore I'd get if I had to keep carrying these things around everywhere by myself..

It would not do to have people exhausting themselves unnecessarily if we have a means of moving materials fast. Especially, if will help the overall restoration effort.

Besides, it would be good to get a proper gauge of how much we can move with this method so we can further along efforts easily.

That's true.

[ He pauses for a moment, seeming to consider the other's words.. ]

Is it something you haven't tried out much before? Or.. um, something you haven't tested the limits of yet, I suppose?

Ah, under normal circumstances, I know the full capabilities and limits of the spell, but the magical weave here is... finicky. It seems to overall weaken my magic. It still works, but just at a lesser capacity.

In the past, it would have transported a full wagon, but by my estimation, it might be limited to half that amount.

[He sounds a touch frustrated by that, not liking that his magic is limited here.]

Ah.. Right. People have mentioned as much. [ That people's powers seem to have been weakened here in some ways - though it's easy to forget for Inigo, since it's not like he has any powers to speak of in the first place that could be affected by this place. ]

.. there shouldn't be any risk with you trying it out though under these circumstances, right? I mean, it's going to be helpful to transport these so easily, but I don't want to put you in any sort of danger.

[ Leave it to Inigo to immediately be concerned about someone else's wellbeing. ]

[There's a second where Essek is a little caught off guard by the comment and concern. He's still very unused to it, even if he's coming to understand a few people around here seem to care, even if they barely know him.]

There should not, no. So long as I do not push the limits. [It is very limited, but it is possible to do it safely.] I have already tested if the magic is even possible today, I was able to safely transport myself and one other.

[He chooses to not mention that he was quite tired after.]

[ Essek, please, you can't hold back that information!

.. or maybe he can, considering it at least means that Inigo won't get as fussy and worried about it. Instead he just lets out a relieved sigh, starting to smile. It's even audible in his voice. ]

That's a relief. [ He really didn't want to put Essek's wellbeing on the line. ] We've all got to be careful, as long as we still don't know how exactly this place is influencing us. I mean.. I don't have any special powers, so I don't really notice it.. but that's why I'm trying to remember it's a thing here, so I can be mindful of others. Like you!

[ He may not have spoken tons to Essek, but he remembers thinking the other guy seemed nice enough when they did speak before. ]

[That sigh is the reason he held back the information, he rather get the job done than have people worry about him being tired from teleporting. And that's all it is, just getting tired.]

Well, I do appreciate the mindfulness. Should I find this place influencing my abilities negatively, I will discontinue this offer and help find another method that works for everyone.
