For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

The comms are a bit crackly and can distorted especially if trying to talk over islands but they do work.

Hey, West Islanders. Be careful about what's around. You see some cat-looking things - those things can drain you from a distance. Hit hard too.

Their powers aren't messing up. [ Which is to be expected, but ugh. ] Don't know how many are gonna like trying to drain us dry though. Cat me and Buttercup bumped into sure didn't like it.

Not only is my magic malfunctioning, but it seems as though maintaining my tenuous grasp on existence requires a noticeable effort. Under the circumstances, it seems as though I will need to limit my physical or magical exertions.

It's not as bad as what's happening with Vexen, but there's some definite strain on my Soul Gem. The pressure isn't anything I can't handle, but it got way worse the moment I tried to use my magic.

Using my Persona is taking more out of me than it usually does. It's like - I don't know if you've played video games a lot but... it's like if I had a magic bar it's taking double what it usually does.

Hey, everyone. I was thinking about some easier way to move between the islands, without exhausting the few people we have who can fly or occupy all of their time.

There's still some pieces of bridges around, right? I'm not sure about the other islands, but over here on the northern one there's plenty of trees and branches. With some work we could use the wood to cover the gaps between what's left of the bridges, so it'll be at least somewhat easier to get around. It's a bit too much to do all that by myself, but if there's some people around here who could help, or anyone who's willing or able to come over...

Hey! Wei Wuxian, Blue Team, chatting at everyone but: who of you all have found one or the same crouched statue with the horns here?

I've been, ah, relating with it, energies wise, and it's been sharing some impressions and trying to find a form of our energies that work together. This world definitely doesn't accept our energies as they are, outside of us, but especially those of you with energy to spare—consider offering some to a crouching statue that looks like our lovely locals.

I don't know if anyone has had the same experience, but! In exchanging with the statue, so far it feels like the winged things either are part of distributing a bad form of energy, perhaps red, with the islands. It's causing disruption, pain, places that aren't healing, and might be tied into what we're here helping fix. Be on the lookout as people start spreading out to the other island: don't trust anything flying if it's not one of the Trainlings, and tracking after what does fly might point to the source of some disruptions that need righting here.

Via teleport magics, I can travel and transport people between the Northern and Southern islands twice per day: once from the north to the south and then back. Should a small number of people need this, please inform me. Unfortunately, it's by need basis, so if too many ask one day, I will have to measure and judge need.

This should also help facilitate sharing of gear, materials, and complicated research.

Yondu with Blue Team here, currently on South Island. Somethin' is up with the locals with red eyes, by the way.

Still figurin' it out but I'll let ya know. Might wanna proceed with caution when you're socializin' if you got red eyes yourself, and be careful with the ones here that do 'cause they're the ones most likely to be outright hostile.

Late day 7, night-ish ; voice (???)

[ All of the Voidtrecker's SCA's will signal an incoming call. It will only last a few seconds, and for those who manage to catch it, there is nothing but a tickling in their ear off their earpiece, and a crackling before it disconnects.

Undividual people will then get called, receiving the same crackling before it disconnects. There is no rhyme or reason, anyone can receive this personal call, but Murphy, all Wei Wuxians, Ryo, Potato, Dairine, Taiki, and Elidibus will find their SCAs going off in particular.

There is no sign or data from who it came from. ]

Nebula 8, Midday

[ Every person's SCA goes off to a call with crackling. The skin under their SCAs feel tingly, and so do their ears to hear it. For those aware of magic or energies, there is something peculiar about this call - but also what's peculiar is the lack of any ID to it.

It takes a few seconds, but the crackling dies, and with it replaces a voice - a voice of a sali. ]

People from other lands, grant us your time. I speak for my people, with them, to communicate to you. Hemla of the centre has spoken well of you, and while our first meetings have been sharp, you have also given aid as well.

Some of your people have spoken about aid. If this is true, we will give in return for anything received. Those who have aided our people, given Hemla strength, fixed our bridges - speak amongst yourselves, let us know what it is you wish.

But let us save those discussions for later, once you know the further help we're seeking.

First, we want to know if your people have found a ship, a flying vehicle. A crew went north when the Red Storm came, and we want to know if it's lost or repairable. Secondly, how many have gone to the west island among you, if any?

We have materials in the west we plan to bring back, either to the village or wherever the ship is located. Our Forever Ones hear the red storm to the west singing a song, calling more of their companions. We plan to weaken their storm and blow them out of the sky, and put an end to this.

It will take time to craft and repair. Artificers, fighters, labourers, anyone - we have jobs, and people arriving to the centre island to speak in person.

But let us speak now, if you wish. We will answer your questions.

... Yondu... I... didn't want you to see me like this... but... I can't -- I'm sc... [I'm scared. She swallows the word down. Even now, she can't say it out loud where everyone can hear her.] I need you to... come get me. I can't walk.

[ooc: action threads will be moved to this TL, marked as private for now so we can make sure things are coordinated as they come up. the tl;dr as to what happened: she's been running low on magic since mission start, then got swarmed by birds while on patrol and had to use magic to survive, so she needs help stat, especially in the soul gem department.]

Ah, Wei Wuxian here.

Do you play a musical instrument? We've found a means of integrating a crystal into instruments. Or that's the easiest explanation, but the point to it is we can assist in empowering the Forever Ones through playing, and from what I'll be doing, disorient flying creatures within a radius. It's quite fascinating, really!

Speak up if you want to help by instrument. We'll need time to find one that'll work for you and customise it properly for what we have in mind.

Lan Jingyi calling from the South Island. We've made contact with the sali down here via their Forever One, too. I'll be working to help bring the sali affected by the storm to a building the rest of the sali have marked out for it—they're people who value equal exchanges and direct offers, you know? So if you're available and able to help, we've got birds causing problems all over the island, and people attacking their own thinking they're intruders. Be straightforward, say you're responding to the call put out by my and Ryo—he's consulting to see if his skills can be useful in healing here, and to what degree.

Sali showing red eyes are among the affected. Please take care with them, and with yourselves, they can work plant magics and will get to thorn vine whipping if bow and arrow doesn't work in driving you off. Yeah, it's been a time of it down here. Anyone else on South Island right now, sound off, I can probably find you and get you rallied to the points the sali have indicated.

Note that you only have the option to speak to your own team here and all of those designated that team (no matter what mission they are on) can hear. (So for example a message to purple will go to all of purple even the member of purple who is currently working with blue. Likewise that message to purple will not reach those of red who are helping out and working with purple.)

We're going to have to be careful how we coordinate movement here. I have extra climbing gear and supplies. Flight capabilities are...not great. It can be done, but you have to use a lower level of energy if that's how you fly, than you might otherwise.
