For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

The comms are a bit crackly and can distorted especially if trying to talk over islands but they do work.

Wei Wuxian experiences a similar situation, first the initial one, and then one that rings through to his SCA in specific.

"Wei Wuxian here," he says, but it's too late—crackle cut, the conncetion and its hiss of feedback is gone. He frowns, sliding a look at his SCA. Switching back to the main channel, "Anyone have an idea where that communication came from?"

When nothing seems to pan out in his initial efforts with the SCA, Elidibus focuses instead on answering Wei Wuxian.

"This is Elidibus. I received what seems to be an effort of communication but nothing indicates its source. Nor did it last long."

By itself it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. But with some individual comms having unreliable connections so having one that might have not managed a connection at all can be troubling.

"It's possible there was enough interference. I would also like to know, has anyone received a second attempt to connect?"

"Only the first no-word connection, followed by one to my individual, well, SCA."

"Strange. I imagine it would be best to be certain that all of our people are accounted for. I will speak with those around me and then check communications. Pray inform me should you do the same and find anyone missing."

[This may be presumed to take a while. But most likely would come back either A) all accounted for or B) just in time for the sali to use the communications device and solve the mystery.]
