For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

The comms are a bit crackly and can distorted especially if trying to talk over islands but they do work.

( as she's not yet assaulted by mind-altered sali or flying animals, she's achieved out of sight in his opinion. his opinion on bars to meet can be really low at times. higher at others.

he unshoulders the bow he'd arrived with, keeping it ready in hand. only to pause, his tailtip twitching as he stands there in a sali nightgown with a sali half cloak pulled over him, staring at Madoka for a long moment, like he's not sure he heard her right. )

... Is that not a word in your vocabulary? Confident means you believe you're capable of doing something. Anything. You're confident you'll wake up in the morning, if you're most people. Or you're confident that you're hot or cold or breathing or crying or a good cook or a terrible liar, confident is a belief.

( the girl thing is not a stronger candidate to confidence in his eyes than the first two which are BASICS WHAT IN THE WORLD? he ushers her on with a shooing of his hands in front, trying to mentally orient himself. )

( it's rhetorical sounding but he's literally waiting for her to either say something she's confident in or give him nothing. )

[ It really is rethorical sounding, isn't it. Or it kind of sounds like he's trying to lead her towards something to be confident in - except Madoka isn't entirely sure what it is.

And the thing about Madoka? Well, if she doesn't know what another person is trying to lead her towards, she wouldn't dare assume it for them. Hence why she gives the other a very blank look before slowly saying: ]

[ D-Don't worry, Jingyi, she wouldn't dare insult you by guessing the wrong thing! Look at those big, innocent eyes! ]
