Would these 'Shades' be the same risk to us as their physical bodies? [Maybe it was better to have... whatever they were. Less chance to do damage to others.

Also don't feel bad Zagerus, Vegeta's father had his son training against genetically created plant monsters that were stronger than most of their population. Vegeta was able to handle them, but only due to the fact he had been naturally stronger than others. They would had easily wiped out many others.

Yes. They are just as much of a threat if not more so.

[ Normally, the souls amassing into a some monstrous thing takes time, but all of these have had too much time. Thanatos doesn't doubt that without a body, these wretches would instantly form a different kind of danger. But their options are limited no matter what is done, aren't they? ]

So disabling them so they are unable to move is the best option? Or finding a way to imprison them until we can find a solution to this? [Which... going to take a bit more of a plan than just blasting them into nothingness.

It was primitive, but...] Would a large enough pit they could not climb out of work? We can throw them down there and control their movements that way. [Or bury them.]

We'd have to surround such a pit with equalizers to prevent a distortion breaking them free.

At least that will contain them to one location and prevent them from escaping or attacking others.

I'll find a suitable location to do this and we can lure them to it. It'll be noticeable once it's there. [Aka, explosive.]
