Day 11 Catfish - everybody else!
Evacuation
Once Rath and Voidtrecker volunteers go off to Blue Mountain the rest of the scientists get ready for the final evacuation off planet.
Earthquakes are regular enough now that it seems strange when the earth is not shaking. It makes it difficult to pack the last of the equipment, get the final lindusi into their containers and start boarding the shuttles.
They need help everywhere, people to ride with the lindusi, others to keep the evacuees calm. Others to carry equipment and load shuttles. People to keep children occupied and out of the way. Slowly but surely the shuttles are loaded and the journey begins.
Space Station
There are scientists and guards waiting at the space station to help unload, lindusi need unloading and taken to containing pens. People need reunited with those that evacuated before them and registered, in an attempt to make sure everyone is accounted for.
The Voidtreckers may do what they like once the work is done, a time to relax after a job well done. Or to fret about those who are still on the planet.
In the control room there is an attempt to keep radio contact with the group on the ground, but as the planet destabilises more it gets more difficult. Signs show that the planet has mere hours before it can not sustain human life anymore.
But the scientists seem to have some faith that these void warriors are up for the job.

Space Station
"Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me? Father? Curvo?" his deep voice is unsteady, cracking as he phrases the questions, "Answer me."
Please. He tries to get a view of the planet below, wondering if he has time to go down there in person. But what if he lands too far from them? There has to be a way.
Yet a promise to his brother keeps him on the space station, his energies set towards aiding or comforting others if he can. Of course they may end up comforting him instead, though that hardly seems fair considering he is, by far, their senior.

She doesn't think they should have stayed at all. If people hadn't evacuated in time that was there own stupid fault. They had been there almost a week and made it obvious what they were doing. There had to be a point where you just left them to their fate.
But apparently not. Light followers were nothing if not determined to always do right and Tony was one of the worst. The voice on the radio had been young and he was a protector of children.
Feanor and Curufin were also down there and they were this mans brother and father. She understood that all the elves were one family. She hasn't spoke to this one yet though. Even now she paused, he seems upset. He might not want company.

"Are you well?"
He has no tolerance for those that threaten or frighten young ones. If his life had been kinder, he might have been a decent father. Of course certain other factors would have needed...ah...changing for that to be, too. But he has adopted a pair of twins and if more children need him, he will help them. Such things come naturally to the eldest of six brothers.

"Do you be being well? You do be being worried."

To put it lightly. Maedhros gives her a small, tired smile.

"They should be hurrying up though." She had no idea how long a planet took to die. Longer than a person for sure.

"Indeed. I think I will be cross with them." after he picks them up in a tight embrace.

Almost too easy to talk to, it was hard to hold her tongue around him with his gentle questions.

"Cake is difficult to resist." even for old, grumpy Elves, "Did you speak to Kano...Maglor...or Curvo...Curufin?" he uses both names, hoping not to confuse her, "Maglor is the musician and Curufin is the warrior."

She isn't thinking about sisters, it's a stupid topic.

No, he wouldn't. But that is where he wants to go
and wants to avoid.no subject
Much.

"You will need to teach me the rules."

"Have you heard of poker?"
no subject
"No, I have not." he watches the cards, "I feel like I don't stand a chance."

"Since you're a beginner, I'll go easy on you." He promises. "Besides, we're not playing for any stakes, here."

Kaito laughs.
"No, you probably don't, until you're much better at this. I play with the Little Detective mostly, and the two of us are terrible cheats."
