Blue Team Finale

Once everyone was found and brought together the mission became one of keeping all the townspeople fed and calm. The townspeople are anxious about their homes and about those who had not made it into the tunnel. The voidtreckers can only trust their friends on the other teams to do their parts.

On the tenth day of the month of domino, four days after they arrived on the planet the ground begins to shake. Though it is faint, anyone near a tunnel leading to outside will hear the echoes of laughter on the wind.

The ground continues to shake, throwing people off their feet and causing the ceiling to start to crumble. Another shake, a crash and the main tunnel leading away from the cavern starts to collapse. The smaller tunnels crumble around them.

Within moments it is pitch black, no light at all. For a few moments there is only a terrible darkness and the cries of townspeople and perhaps voidtreckers. Then everybody’s Safety Control Apparatus begins to glow faintly. Any one who looks at it will see a third symbol next to the information and map ones. Like a small sunburst. If they tap it their SCA will emit a bright light, a flashlight.

With lights once more it will be apparent they are trapped in the cavern. The main tunnel is blocked completely but some of the smaller tunnels have suffered only small cave ins and so it should be possible to clear them and escape.

Keep everyone calm, organise an escape route. Lead the people to safety.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

Too far from the main tunnel to have been able to prevent the collapse even in the depths of meditation, Vader is instead braced near the back of the cavern, surrounded by floating rubble and still kneeling in a meditative position. Thanks to his isolation, there is at least one passageway that is entirely free of debris - or, it will be, when he stands up and heaves the loose ice and rock to one side in one smooth motion.

He stares at the chaos for only three breaths, and then strides forward in search of those trapped individuals he can sense as beacons of fear or pain around the cavern.

Romeo had been close by, getting on with the small tasks that came with helping a whole bunch of people who were hiding in a tunnel because a bad person had frozen their entire town! He had been knocked off his feet when the shaking started and had been too shocked and dazed to manage to draw a borderline in time when rubble started falling.

The only reason he was now getting back to his feet rather than being squished under a pile of rocks was because those rocks are floating in the air. He thinks its the man in the mask that has stopped them. He hasn't spoken to him yet because the man has kept himself away from the other team members. But he knows he has worked really hard to help rescue everybody!

"Thank you sir!" Romeo ran after him, he can't sense anything but he can hear calls for help and so he runs to the nearest cave in and begins pulling at loose rubble and ice to clear it.

He ignores the boy's misplaced gratitude, but not the boy himself. One of the main issues with the past few days has been that no matter whether Vader can sense a pocket of trapped refugees, he cannot crawl or scramble into the smaller caves after them. So, obviously, using the children in blue as pseudo-probe droids has been common.

Even if he hasn't explicitly commanded them to do so, and they have simply happened to notice a hidden passageway thanks to a coincidental rattle of pebbles or a shift of snow on ice.

He gestures, and the heavier chunks of the collapse that Romeo is scrabbling at begin to shake and lift enough to dig around.

Having seen the man float rubble just before he guesses it is him again when the ice around him lifts. He glances back at the man in metal and smiles at him in gratitude before he digs more snow out and begins to crawl into the small tunnel he has made.

It's cold and enclosed, he can barely see and all he can do is scrabble in front of him to clear a path and hope that the metal man keeps holding all that heavy ice off of him!

The snow stays up, his meditation having done wonders for his energy. His life support is somewhat low, but this isn't the first time he's been on extended missions away from supplies. He is used to functioning on reduced capacity; his breaths are lighter and less frequent.

Without much else to do, he concentrates on keeping the tunnel clear. And nudges the boy mentally, when he begins to stray in the wrong direction.

Romeo keeps crawling, sometimes getting the feeling he should turn this way or that. The rocks and ice are lifted but there's still a lot of snow. Luckily he can punch through it. He coughed as he breathed in the icy powder.

Eventually he could hear voices and he sped up, scrabbling through the snow. "Hello? I'm coming to help you!"

Vader lets his attention drift away as the boy begins the tedious process of convincing the trapped citizens to follow him to safety. Some of the time is spent moving other sections of rubble, the rest is spent in silent meditation. The upheaval going on in the valley, the panic of the residents and the fury of the storm make it an excellent place to feel the Dark Side.

He snaps back, some time later, as he feels a particularly nearby roil of ice.

Without a strong link to the child, he instead sends only an image of danger, crushing and immense, from above, and a pulse of urgency.

So far so good, he got most the people out and down the tunnel, back to the main cavern where everyone was gathered. He was almost done but there was one more boy, a little smaller than Romeo.

"Come on!"

He felt a sense of urgency, a vision of danger and crushing. "Line!"

A borderline above them, like a canape. It would not last long at such an awkward angle, but the couple of initial ice shards that fall are stopped.

"Come on!"

He reached out to grab the boy and they began wriggling quickly towards the exit. Just in time, as Romeo pushed the boy out first the tunnel behind him started to collapse.

Marcus managed to clear some of the heavier rocks ahead of him "I got some of the heavier rocks, it's safe to have the citizens go!"

He does not respond verbally, too busy feeling the shifting ice around them in the Force to engage his vocoder for something as trivial as an agreement, but he gestures to the nearest crowd of refugees and gives them a shove towards the entrance Marcus is holding clear.

Interesting, he idly thinks, that another of this small team is part machine.

Marcus was nowhere as nice this time while leading the people nearby and frowned as he picked up a few of the people who feel over "Feel free to follow me out, Just don't fall behind.

Marcus turns as he eyes the strange black man holding things up with some sort of unknown force he didn't know about.

His eyes stare at Darth Vader's, as he passes by.

He'd heard stories about this man, but he had to wonder if they were true.

Challenging stares were hardly something new; he met Marcus's gaze with-- well, the lenses of the helmet blocked any expression he might make, but there was something of a question, a sardonic Well? in the tilt of the visor.

When the last of that batch of refugees was through, he dropped his section into the growing mountain of snow and rock filling the centre of the main cavern, and followed them out.

This man is on her side. Ple Two hasn't been around Vader much, but she has quickly realized that she has to sort of... remind herself of that. More and more of these 'force sensitive' people crop up, and while it's not like the frustrating presence of a fellow Newtype, enough of them are present to send a bit of that creeping pain up the back of her neck at times.

Especially this man, dressed in black, breathing through some sort of simple respirator, with a heart and mind full of turmoil. He's a controlled presence, but a frightening one.

And powerful. A Newtype can't move objects like this, and she's too small to move a great deal of debris on her own; her reaction time is really the only thing that kept her from getting crushed in the first place. "I'll... accompany you, if it won't slow you down."

She has the reflexes and aptitude of an apprentice, but those skills place her far ahead of some of her teammates, and he nods. He can use her, if she is willing to be used.

"See that you do not," he advises, and continues on to lift a section of the wall that has fallen to trap a pair of elderly refugees.

"I will... make sure they're healthy," she responds a bit unsteadily, heading for the people he'd just freed. Ple Two is no medic, but she can at least check a person's vitals - and it keeps her from getting in the way of a terrifying presence.

His expectations are not particularly high for an assistant he hasn't selected himself, so he doesn't bother to judge her speed as long as she gets the job done.

"Tell me if they can be moved."

That's appreciated. Put her less on edge while she's trying to get her job done. Good.

Ple Two exchanges brief words, checks for any major injuries. "They should be fine, as long as we're careful."

I. Escape route
This world is too cold, but he's dressed up warmly for the mission. Whoever is on his team and fighting alongside with him, Lan Zhan helps lead the townspeople out of the tunnels to their safety. The hard task is to keep them calm in such a dangerous place.

When the tunnels collapsed, he takes it upon himself to round up the people and lead the townspeople out to safety. "Is everyone all right? Please, remain calm." Even with the tunnels collapsed, there is a way out. Lan Zhan is alive and so is everyone, so he's realized the danger of losing a life. No lives will be lost, he is going to make sure of that.

He checked his SCA for the map and using the light to light the way. With the main tunnel blocked, there is still some of the smaller tunnels open, but caved in with snow.

"If you can help me dig out the snow, we can make it out of here. This is the way out."

II. Defending the town
While it falls upon the purple team to protect the town, there are monsters in the valley. He joins the other team to help push back the monsters that seems keen to destroying the town. He slays them with his sword or pushes them back with his magic guqin. It's too cold to fight, but it must done. To keep the people safe.

III. Looting/shopping | the supermarket
Once the village people are rescued and the monsters are being pushed back, Lan Zhan has a peaceful moment to himself. He went to the market hall, which is the town's largest supermarket that has everything he was looking for and need. There's also a clothes store where he can pick up clothes.

"I will need your help to carry these back to the train." Lan Zhan knows how to shop. For one thing, his cart is full of so much food.

IV. Wildcard
[Anything else? All of these prompts are open to everyone. Feel free to make up your own starter! Lan Zhan rescues the people out of the tunnels, fight the monsters in town, or went shopping in the supermarket.]

"Let us hope you are correct," Vader commented. Incidental, slightly threatening. Occupied with holding up a good portion of the tunnels already, he didn't have the attention for anything more than mild intimidation. If this was indeed the best route, however, he had a little more attention to spare. He stepped forward, focused, and the snowfall began to roil and lift, as though held in some great unseen hand.

"I will leave the refugees to you."

It's difficult to focus on the mission when the people they're rescuing are panicking. Lan Wangji took it upon his responsibility to round them up and keep them calm while taking the lead.

He took note of his teammate. He must be new since he has seen him before. Despite there's no expression, he can feel this individual can be very intense. Still, he'll try his best to work together in the best interest of saving the townspeople.

"Thank you."

In a few moments, much later when the pathways are cleared and the townspeople are less panicky and begin to follow Lan Wangji's lead, and there's room for proper introductions.

"I'm afraid we haven't met. Are you new...?"

"Earthquake." Terra confirms, considering he can do that sort of magic. Seeing children near the edge of where the ground is splitting, the keyblade wielder wastes no time in leaping to tackle them to a point further up the ground that isn't cracked.

His boots are slippery, but he managed to get the kids over to safety. A few of the people ran to stand behind him which only served to remind him of the time he told Cinderella to 'get behind him or she'd get hurt'. Fortunately there weren't any unversed or heartless in any sort of way shape or form here.

He huddles a few of the children under him as the ice chunks fall. Once they stopped, he stared sightlessly into the blackness. "Is everyone alright?" This was accompanied with him blindly reaching around to touch little heads. When the sca flashed, Terra reached a hand to tap the symbol and he used it to start looking around. As soon as his eyes saw a way out, he looked at those he'd protected and at whoever was nearby.

"Let's get out of here."

Marcus rushed toward the last few people lagging behind and pulled them ahead as he smashed the ice chunks to pieces. He was able to let a few stragglers make it toward Terra thanking Marcus in light gratitude.

"You alright, stranger?"

Hearing the question, Terra turned towards the unknown man who was also wearing blue. His eyes saw the stragglers who hadn't quite made the leap with him be okay due to the kindness of the man.

The keyblade wielder nodded. "Yeah, what about you?"

Marcus turned toward the brown haired man named Terra, "I'll be fine. I've handled worse."

There was a small smile. Terra had been through worse too but this wasn't the time to mention it. So Marcus got another nod.

Turning to help one of the kids come over to where was, his blue eyes looked at the rest of the people. "We'll get them out of here and then we'll see who else needs help." One of the girls reminded him of Aqua and he had to turn his head so he didn't smile.

Marcus is a bit gentler with the kids as he bends down to carry the small girl on her shoulders since he had trouble walking.

It wasn't long before the two were walking with the kids to one of the caves. As they neared, some of the families who had lost their children were now running to be reunited. Terra was again reminded of the lost children that he'd had hide from Captain Hook, but these children were happy as those kids had been when they carried off the treasure chest.

He stayed back and watched as the families gathered their precious people to them. Maybe one day he could go back home and have a reunion just like these folks were.

Marcus eyed the scared citizens and lightly cursed under his breath as he moved his Plasma gun's light near the tunnels blocked off by rocks.

The rocks weren't going to be a problem for the cyborg who slipped his gun on his back "Hurry. I'll get the rocks out of the way and we can go!"

The past Resistance commander lifted rocks up with his bare hands since he was stronger than the average human and threw them to the side. He kept it up until the path was clear and he waved the others toward the exit "It's safe, come on!"

It felt like he was commanding his own group of soldiers at home.
