The Will to Fight: Conclusion
The battles rage loud and ferocious at the gates of the city and off in the ruined wastelands of Erda, and on the walls a struggle of a different kind occurs. The team who stayed behind at the towers are small but determined as they move stoically across the walls to right the stones that have become misaligned, even as their friends battle not too far away.
The city begins to hum. It's a quiet hum, not loud enough to be heard out where the others are fighting but it vibrates even through stone. The recovering monks assure them that it is done, the wards are back up and no demon will be able to enter the city.
Eventually the battle is won, all three battles. The demons fought back and killed, a major blow to their gate system that will keep them back for hopefully a long time. Those waiting in the caverns return to the city and by the time they get there the illusions are gone. Everyone can see the world for what it really is.
But despite the ruins of their world the people are relieved, the adrenaline of the fight coursing through their veins and the mood is one of hope. They will build again, their people will survive.
All Voidtreckers please return to the Voidtrecker Express. Departure will be in a few hours
It has landed not too far from the city, cloaked to make it unnoticeable to the citizens, for all the good that does. No one has been particularly subtle this last week. People can begin regrouping, packing up the camp and getting any wounded not already healed to the train.
However roughly half an hour later another message appears on their SCA.
Passenger Persephone has requested we remain on system System #86525656412355 for an additional day to further assist the people of Erda. The Voidtrecker Express will depart on the morning of Day Fifteen of the month of Kazoo.
The train remains where it is, so the voidtreckers can use its facilities. There is definitely a lot that can be done to assist those of this world and the citizens will welcome any helping hands.
After an extra day they finally depart, returning to the void once more.
(OOC Note: Once the wards are up any characters who are demonic in nature will not be able to enter the city either!)

Nozomi | OTA
Nozomi felt like crap. The fight, the lack of sleep, the lack of food. What tore her up the most was that those demons turned her against the others. If it weren’t for Trunks, she might have hurt someone!
She’s finding the comfiest chair she can find, pulling it close to the doors and going to sulk in it for awhile.
Wildcard
(OoC: Need her for something else? Hit her up for it! :P)

He is not expecting there to be a chair here as he enters, and he is not expecting the chair to be full of a person. A person who looks sad. That kind of miserable, guilty sad that he has seen Ken-chan wear. It breaks his heart.
"Are you okay?" he asks, waddling up to peer at Nozomi. Ken-chan will understand if he is a little late, he feels sure.

“Those demons got to me.” Nozomi said. “They made me think everyone was dead and... and I started attacking the others thinking they were the demons. If it weren’t for Trunks, I...”

Wormmon is a feeler. So, without further fanfare, he begins trying to climb up into the chair with Nozomi.

It's okay. He gets it. Waking up from the darkness is a scary thing. Nobody should have to do that alone.

But, it was a welcome one, her arms wrapping around the Digimon as well. "Thank you..." She said as she smiled.

.. but it's then that she spots Nozomi there, obviously sulking. It makes the girl frown, slowly taking a step closer towards the other.
"Nozomi-san..? Is something wrong?"
no subject
“Oh, thank goodness!” Nozomi said, wiping her eyes. “Those demons made me think everyone died... I thought the others were demons and I attacked them. If it wasn’t for Trunks, I could have really hurt someone!”
no subject
That's just a lot of information to suddenly have to deal with all at once. Especially since Madoka hadn't been part of that last big battle, and therefore has absolutely no idea about the specifics of what went down.. So when Nozomi suddenly throws it all out there like that, Madoka quickly raises her hands up to her face, to cover her mouth once her jaw drops.
"H-Huh?" Oh geez, that sounds awful.. "I.. I'm sorry, that must've been hard.. I didn't know those demons could do something like that."

Madoka can only imagine how horrible it'd be to suddenly see everyone being dead. It must have been so scary.. If anything, it's surprising to her that Nozomi made it out as relatively well as she ended up doing, really.
"It must have been a little like the people inside of the city.. In there all the people there, and us too, kept seeing things that weren't actually there."
no subject
She groaned at that. “I can’t be too mad, can I?”

Trunks is heading back to the train to change clothes, but it's not hard to find Nozomi.
"Hey, you alright?"
no subject
She shook her head in defeat. "I messed up big time. I coulda gotten others hurt."

She shook her head again. She's lingering on the past again. "We made it through, thanks to you..."

“I... I guess I was, huh?” Nozomi said. She chuckled as she let a smile form on her face. “I guess that makes sense. I didn’t think I had and yet I did...”
She let out a small sigh. “Still feel guilty, though.”

Re: Nozomi | OTA
SHe's not going to ask if Nozomi's okay. She has eyes, and at this point she's just assuming that none of them are fully okay. "That was a lot."

Re: Nozomi | OTA
People tell her there's not always this much fighting. There was a lot of fighting. "Sometimes all we can do is figure out how to use what we learned in the next one."

It's probably too much to hope someone might have the same sort of magic. But maybe someone is close enough.
