For the third option, a list of passengers appears and names can be searched for by letter. Anyone who has been working to try and make communications happen on their own devices will find those linked in to this network- though it is still only possible to use voice. If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

[ And it's why Inigo would have such a hard time leaving this tier. It really does feel like he's protecting the people. ]

So far I've managed to not let anyone at all get hurt on my watch! So I'm hoping to keep that up for the rest of the mission, unless things get worse.

[He really is, Inigo is good at protecting and he's glad both for the people who are unharmed and also for Inigo, that he can do something like that, to have such an affect on the people of this world.]

[ Look at Inigo, perking up so easily at a simple compliment from Taiki. ]

They can pay me back by not pushing me around at the train station when we board the train again once all of this is over!

[He smiles sympathetically.] It was really busy down there. [He remembered how overwhelmed Lan Sizhui was, it was busy even for Taiki who had lived in an earth city, never mind those who came from places more like Tai or other cities in his world.]

Wasn't it? [ Even though his tone is light, since he's just happy to be talking to Taiki, there's no denying that his tone makes it sound like he can still remember that moment way too vividly. And not necessarily in a good way. It had been way too overwhelming. ]

I've never seen anything like it in my life before. That many people in one place, all pushing and pulling, and then the light and the sound on top of it.. I don't quite know how the people who live here deal with it every single day of their lives. I'd tap out after a week.

I think I would too... Japan had lots of busy places but even there... It wasn't like that.

[At least never in the places Taiki had been to. There were probably parts of that world that were noisy, confusing and busy but his own city had been a normal level of bustle.

Which was to say much much more than anywhere in Tai ever had been and probably the same for Inigo's world.]

[ See, that's the thing.

Inigo can imagine what Tai is like. Gyousou seemed to have the same trouble with all this technology on the train as Inigo did, so he knows that in some ways Tai must have been pretty close to Ylisse - as a place to live in, anyway.

But Japan? Inigo has absolutely no idea of it. He wouldn't have been able to imagine a city like this if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes today. ]

.. What's Japan like then? It sounds like it's at least better than this.

Yes. It's... In the cities it is busy but there is countryside as well, where it is much quieter though still probably louder than you know. Just because there are cars and trains and things...

[It had been something he had noticed, probably more the second time he had returned to Tai, how quiet things were. People were loud and the cities were busy but overall there was a lot more peaceful placs.]

I lived in the city but not right in the centre so around my house wasn't so loud. I rode the subway to school though um... That's a train that goes under the ground. It was like... The standard carriage if we were all in there and probably all of us again..."

[ Though Inigo goes quiet for a moment, it's mostly because he's trying to imagine all of it. It's not too difficult to do so, thankfully, since Taiki's explanation of it all is so clear, but it's still far enough from what he's used to that it takes him a few moments. ]

So being on the train must not have been as strange to you at first. Since you've been on one before. [ Unlike Inigo, who had to contend with the sheer idea of a train as well upon arrival. ]

It wasn't. I mean. It sort of was. Because it's very different... But at least I knew what a train was and it meant I could help Lord Gyousou.

[It must have been so strange to him and to Inigo, if trains were not something they had ever encountered before.]

But I guess... It was the same when I first went to my world, to Mount Hou and then to Tai. Seeing animals that could fly through the air or a sea in the sky. Even myself, back when I was a child in Japan I would not have dreamed to think something such as a kirin were a real creature, never mind that I was one.

[ Yes, Inigo had definitely found himself on a technological level similar to Gyousou's, who also had never lived in a modern world before. So he can imagine the train having been odd for the king as well. ]

Did you never notice before that you were different? You know, with your.. erm. Problem. With the whole blood thing and all.

[ HE'S TRYING TO BE DIPLOMATIC ABOUT IT, sorry, Taikiiii. ]

I can imagine that would have been strange, or difficult.

It was... I always felt I didn't fit in. I was scared a lot and blood made me feel scared and weird but...

[It was always difficult, because his worlds were so different, there was so much to explain all the time.]

When someone from my world is blown over to earth, when their egg goes over in a storm they are born to a person from earth, just like anyone else. We have... I guess it's a shell over us. So when I was on earth I didn't look like this at all. I looked like a child of the woman who gave birth to me and her husband. I looked like their other son.

[A glance to make sure Inigo was following so far.] So even though things like blood, meat and unpurities were hurting me it didn't really show on the shell. I guess... I got sick more as a kid but they just thought I was sickly. I wasn't around that much blood or violence when I was a little kid. The second time... Last year when I was finally found again I was very ill when I returned, my real self I mean. Sorry, it's complicated. But it was more just a feeling back then, I wasn't my parents son and we all knew it I think. In our hearts. I could only ever make them sad.

It's okay. [ It's said inbetween everything else Taiki says, quickly inserted after the other apologizes for it being complicated.

Aren't all their lives complicated in some way? And it's not like Taiki asked for any of it, so he shouldn't apologize it. Instead Inigo patiently listens, trying to make sense of it in his head the best he can with what he knows about Taiki and the other's world. ]

I'm sorry to hear it though. It must have been awkward to live with that feeling.. Especially since your family is usually so important to you when you're a kid. [ It was important to Inigo too, while he still had it. ]

They are. I never knew what I was doing wrong, I just made them sad and angry all the time. [He sighed, it was a long time ago and so much more has happened.]

It was almost a relief when I was first taken to Mount Hou, to learn that I wasn't really their child, not a human at all.

[ Taiki making someone sad and angry..

Inigo can't imagine it. It must have been more just that they got angry with him, even though Taiki didn't deserve it. Even if he didn't fit in, even if he was different.. He still deserves to have been treated with love instead. ]

I wish you could've been blown over to Ylisse instead. I would have been so happy with you as my brother. [ Even though there's the problem of.. you know. The whole world going to shit, and that so not being a good place for Taiki to be, BUT THAT ASIDE. ]

[He wouldn't want to bring calamity to anyone's world. Never mind Inigo's. Especially since it seemed his world already had so many problems.

But that aside.] I am think you are a wonderful brother, so I would have been very lucky if you had been mine.

Hey, you never saw me with Luce. I think you should ask her before you're able to tell whether I'm a good brother or not.

[ He laughs.

But deep down? Inigo wonders what she'd even say about that. ]

I don't need to. I know that you are already. [He can't imagine anything else.]

Aww, come on! Now you're just flattering me!

[ Not that Inigo doesn't like it, at least some part of him, but it's also making him feel very flustered and fuzzy. ]

You're not allowed to do that while you're not here in person so I can hug you!

[He smiles fondly.]

You say that as if every day I can't hug you is not a day too many.

[ Excuse him for being sappy, okay. Being away from Taiki and missing the other is only making him sappier, to the point he's almost sounding like a boyfriend. ]

[How did he ever find such a kind friend as Inigo? It's almost impossible to him that such a person exists in his life.]

[ Even though there's still something slightly whiny - but in a playful sort of way - about his voice as he says it. Like he said, it's still hard to miss even a day of Taiki hugs, okay! ]

I guess I should get going for now then. Another busy day keeping the people in this city safe! [ He laughs briefly - kind of like a 'heh'. ] You stay safe too, alright?
