I've never really used the comms system before, so I hope I'm doing this right but...

There's a lot of ghost rooms here, and I think that maybe everyone might be able to take advantage of that? There's a lot of people in this place, so having somewhere hidden that no one from here would easily find seems important anyway. I'm trying to get a map so that I can start making note of really good ones...

...Right, I should explain- once I show someone a ghost room, only me, and whoever I've shown, can enter- and from there, only people they've shown. The rooms are basically the same as they used to be in the past- even the machines would still work!

Right now I'm on tier 3, but I can move to the other levels pretty easy I think, by the way.

[Normal speaking volume again:] I've got a bead on an apartment for rent we can use as an HQ and a place to meet and compare notes, but I can't afford it solo.

[If he sounds affronted by that, it's because as far as he's concerned, this shit should be free. He sighs.] Can I get a couple folks to come pitch in with me on this?

[Apparently, even when there's no need to camp, Devero can't help but set up a base for his people to operate out of.]

In light of the rather large travel distances involved here, I have an offer to make. I possess the ability to travel nearly instantaneously by passing through corridors of darkness, and currently have a spare protective garment. I can, on occasion, transport people to any point in the city.

I do not intend to spend the entire mission ferrying people from place to place, but I ought to at least be able to prevent some absurd commutes. An important note, however: the corridors are hardly welcoming locations for denizens of the light, so those who are easily disconcerted may wish to seek other modes of transportation.

Last night, I paid a visit to the second tier to examine the illusions down there. Both the false scenery in the homes of the victims, and the beasts themselves are the same form of illusion from the first tier, and an improved form of the ones witnessed in our previous mission.

Have there been any more encounters with illusions that have yet to be reported?

The older Kyoko here with an update on the purple situation. The thing that's been killing people is an illusion too, but it's got a solid core. It looks like a mass of shining light that fills the shell, or enough of it for impact if the illusion is too big.

Chiff calm down. Sorry about that. Hi Voidtreckers I’m Anan. I met some of you on Erda, for those I didn’t thank you for your work there, you saved my life and many others.

I’m a voidscout and also here trying to figure out what is going on with these illusions, I’m the one who sent out the call for void aid so thank you again.

I was thinking about the virus in the Spectura system and these illusions and a few other things and I had a few ideas of a way we could at least help with the computer side of things and maybe draw whoever or whatever is behind this out. I figure you all have come up with solutions as well and as they say, many heads are better than one so I’d be up for swapping ideas. I’m set up on tier one, on the roof of the big lab building in the north.

Anyway I’ve got some tech that could be useful. I’ve got a set of netpoints, small devices that connect together and make getting into alien network systems easier and work as a safety net, if you have an anti-virus then getting it into the system through the netpoints makes it so much easier and less vulnerable to a counter-counter attack. [She makes a small sound at the awkward wording there but moves on.] Problem with them is you have to physically place them. I’ve done a few but the more we can get around the easier things will be. Obviously if any of you are in the networks or systems I’ll show you how to use it.

Also getting some access codes would be useful, I’ve got some scanners that people can borrow if you think you can get close to anyone you think might have access to information. Especially down in tier four.

If you want to borrow one or are happy to help plant net points let me know, you can come find me up here or I can sent Chiff down to you. [There’s some beeping in the background.]

You know, something has been bothering me as this mission goes on.

The initial briefing we got specifically mentioned that 'void assistance had been requested'. But requested by whom, exactly? My first assumption was someone in the local government, but given the way we all have to sneak around and dodge security to one degree or another, that doesn't seem to be the case. However low my opinion of the local leadership might be, if they'd specifically requested assistance, they should have provided some sort of contact for us when we arrived so that we could coordinate our efforts with theirs, even if they wanted us to keep a low profile.

I've not been in the city for a while now... hard to tell how long since you can't really see the sky out here, but it's gotten dark at least twice, so I'd guess a few days? Regardless, Red Team is sure to have heard the rumors about a fighter just wandering off outside the city limits recently, so after I decided to... ahem... retire from the fighting rings for this mission, I figured it would make sense to go look for him. But that's just the thing, his tracks have gone cold. It's not like there are obvious signs of a struggle, and I haven't found any trace of him dead or alive other than the original trail.

If only Lady Artemis could help me out here. Blood and Darkness...

Anyone who's better at tracking things than me is more than willing to come out here and have a look around, but I think the wind's been covering up the tracks so much that it's impossible to find this poor sap.

I hope he's all right out there... either way, thought you all ought to know.

Does anyone know how to make the wards from the castle in the last mission? I know Orange and Blue team did research on them. Helped put them back up.

If these illusions are the same. Then if those wards could be put up, the illusions would stop. Or be easier to ignore.
