Time to leave!

There is not much of the city left, but the park is holding together as those anchoring help those who are not voidtreckers through back to where they belong. Monsters continue to attack and a little further out there is a battle of hearts and minds being fought with the mass of colours and chaos.

Eventually, after the bulk of citizens had been evacuated everyone with SCA's on would hear Jin-Roh's voice after a few frantic beeps, as Chiff aligned everyone's SCA's. "We are almost done here, if you are with anyone not tethered to a voidcraft get them to the evacuation point, as quickly as possible."

Anan pulls out of the anchoring point to call out to any defenders in the park. "Come on! Anyone who isn't a voidtrecker! It's time to go."

Luckily those off fighting the entity headed the message and made their way to the park as Jin Roh spoke again.

"Everyone else get ready. When we call it you need to leave. If you don't have your SCA on then get to someone who does."

As the last people rushed to the park Anan calls out again, through her SCA and outloud to the park. "You need to unanchor, before you can evacuate. Everyone be ready."

She goes in again though, because there are some last people, those from the large battle, getting through as another message was called.

"Almost there. Be ready. On my command..."

Anan unanchored again. "Quick everyone unanchor."

"NOW" Jin Roh's voice came through strong on their SCA's. Hopefully those with SCA's would grab those without.

There is some outside help as well, the train pulls anyone who is unconscious or still under the entity's control, forcibly evacuating them. This includes Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji and Zagreus.

Luggage Carriage

There has been a mass evacuation before and that was crazy enough but since then the population of the train has almost doubled and now it is an extremely tight squeeze as everyone crashes into the luggage carriage at the same time.

The train jerks and rolls as they enter into the void at breakneck speed and again as they seem to slow, rather than speeding off though the void.

There's a crackling from their SCA's. "Voidtreckers? Voidtreckers come in!" Anan's voice. "Please tell me you made it..."

There's only a few moments of signal and soon they are flying though the void again, away from the strange non-world, the entity sealed for now. To new adventures, but first hopefully some time to recover from all that has happened.

He didn't mind Noctis thinking things through. They had a lot to think about really.

"Not...lame exactly just..." Prompto flushed a little bit.

"Uh, did you...did you mean it?"

"I mean, I asked if you wanted to be my player two," Noctis muttered, rubbing at his face for a moment. "That's kind of the definition of lame."

He blushed underneath his hands, then leaned back in his chair, looking at the ceiling. Easier than looking at Prompto's face. He should lie. It'd probably be easier. It'd probably be nicer.

"Yeah," Noctis said quietly, like it was a secret. Probably should be. He then curled forward. Threaded his fingers behind his head as he looked at his knees. "It ... doesn't have to change anything."

Yeah.

One syllable and no matter what Noctis said it changed everything. He let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding and took another deep breath, slowly exhaling.

"You uh, might know, might've guessed that I've kinda really liked you for a long time." Prompto murmured. "But it's not like...well. I know about Lady Lunafreya and everything and how important that is for you, for everyone."

He would've wanted to be selfish.

Noctis looked up at him with that, peering through his bangs from his hunched position. He'd heard that exhale and assumed the worst, but now ... "No, I had no idea. You did? Or ... or you still do?"

Not that it might've mattered. Even if Noctis knew - even if he tried to do, something, together - there still would've been the treaty. He still would've been forced into that. And yet ...

His heart was beating a little faster, now, watching Prompto.

"Uh, yeah dude, of course I do." He said with a little nudge, on the playful side.

"But um, I mean, you've never been available to me?" He winced. "I don't mean that in a bad way. I just mean...well you know what I mean." Prompto responded easily.

"Probably more than I know it so I kinda...haven't been..." He touched his own chest.

"Yeah. Also, um, this is really awkward, but you weren't the only person to confess to me?"

"Yeah," Noctis sighed again, long and - he probably sounded exhausted. Because his life, long before any Voidtrecker kidnappings, was exhausting. "I know. I'm sorry. I ... I wish ... it's stupid. Sorry."

He could wish a lot of stupid, selfish things - but he knew they were stupid and so ...

But he blinked, and Noctis felt a swirl of - oh Six, he was jealous. That was dumb. Why was he jealous? They just mentioned while dancing around it that they couldn't be together but he still asked, "Who?"

Winced. "Um, I mean. ... Do you like them too?" More? "Because ... I mean ... are they a good person? Are - you deserve - " well this much was true; "you deserve someone who'd treat you like you're amazing, like you're the most important thing out there, because ..."

"You don't have to be sorry Noct, I mean, it's not really your fault and I mean, it's not fair to you when you can't...do what you want." Prompto said. It kind of made him sad that Noctis couldn't. Even if it wasn't him he wanted to choose.

"Casper." Prompto wasn't going to lie to Noctis.

"I...I like him, yeah." He knew that made him sound like a disaster. A total disaster, in fact, that he couldn't just like someone and be done with it. "So I mean it's...complicated, yeah?" Prompto winced. He didn't like this position so much.

"It's never about what I want," Noctis said, and he was too exhausted to sound bitter. "And, I mean, it's selfish to wish otherwise, right? You might be the only person here who understands what it means to be the king of Lucis. So ..."

Another sigh.

"Complicated. I mean. It doesn't have to be. If he's good for you and you like him, you should forget what I said, and date him. I mean ..." His shoulders hunched forward a bit. Perhaps he wasn't too tired after all. He quipped, "... it's not like he'll let you date me at the same time. Even though we'll need to go home - he's still the better choice than me."

Thinking about how to make Prompto happy, he said, "After all, if we know how to go home, we'll know how to go to other worlds, so you'll still be able to see each other."

"Uh, well yeah, about that, actually, he said..." Prompto licked his lips nervously. "He s-said I could?"

It was kind of embarrassing to discuss. "I mean. He doesn't...he's not jealous or anything um, as far as I know and he thinks it's okay I like both of you."

He did like both of him, his heart was such a disaster.

"You know I can't do that you dweeb." Prompto protested, nudging him. "When we go home, I get back to work right?"
