Let it Snow: Purple Start
"We are now approaching world#58291. Purple team to doors." As the last flurry of activity occurs the voice speaks again. "Warning: Exit from void in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one." the usual jerk, shudder lurch as the colours from the window turn from the void to a white haze of snow.
The doors open for purple team to alight. It is a scramble down from the train, there is no platform here and the ground below them is a sheet of ice.
They seem to be in a town, ice below them, snow drifts piled high. They can see the mountains in the distance and high above the down there is what seems to be a giant ice block floating in the sky.
But for their more immediate attention there are snow creatures. Snowmen, oddly formed snow animals. Eight foot tall creatures made of ice. Some seem intent on throwing snowballs at cars and the buildings of the town but it is not long before the team are spotted and the creatures make their way to them.
This is their battleground. They may find things they can use as weapons in the town itself and their job is to ensure there is still a town when all of this is over. It’s going to be a hard and very cold few days.

"Steve's the best man I've ever known," he agrees, following Ignis in and making sure the door was latched closed behind them, to make sure no snow beasts could sneak in. "But he's a stubborn idiot if you catch him on the wrong day," he chuckles softly, keeping close and watching for trouble, even though he doesn't expect any here.
He keeps his bat slung over his shoulder, but his grip on it isn't casual as he looks down every aisle they pass, occasionally going still to listen for any unusual noises. "Tony's been remarkably reasonable. Reminds me a lot of his father, just a little angrier." Which he figured Tony had every right to be.

Ignis smiled lightly at the topic of stubborn. Well that fit Stark too so that worked for and against him at times.
Words of Tony's filtered through his mind as he steadily kept a lookout for trouble and useful supplies. He'd said he wasn't a very good guy at a point in his life so maybe this was one of those times.
The part about him being reasonable now helped the advisor relax some and he was interested in hearing about the father. But deep down he knew there had been issues between them. And idly he wondered why Bucky was talking about this in front of a stranger. Well maybe the man needed someone to listen to him.

"I'm not surprised, Steve has that effect on people," he smiles a little, finally starting to properly relax. If one of the snow beasts was here, it likely would've made itself known by now. He turns back to Ignis, following behind him.

Far be it from him to judge a book by its cover but he couldn't help but think that it sounded as if the man with him either had a case of hero worship or was in love with Steve. Or maybe it was both. But again it was absolutely none of his business and he wouldn't ask.
"It would certainly seem that way."
The advisor picked up a few things and gathered them up. Somehow they had some of the flowers needed to make healing potions so those definitely got snatched up, preserved as they were in the ice.
He would have no issue with Bucky personally as long as Tony, his team and his friends stayed safe. The 'Iron Man' could handle himself and if he couldn't, Ignis would faithfully be there to back him up.

When Ignis takes the flowers, Bucky lifts a brow. "Flowers?" he asks. "Are they medicinal or something?" They didn't look like anything he was familiar with, and if he's being honest the silence was a little unnerving.

It was something that he was curious about. And to be honest and fair, Ignis felt very awkward himself. This was the man that his lover lost Steve over. But his go to mode was silence and not idle chatter.

He shakes his head. "I've only ever been used as a weapon," he replies, shrugging one shoulder. "I don't know anything about making medicine or doing first aid," it's actually a bit of a problem, and something he'd fix if he ever got up the nerve to discover the training modules on the train's computers.

Grabbing what he needed, the advisor turned around and nodded to Bucky. "It seems I've found all that I will find useful here."

Bucky nods, and turns to lead the way back to the door they'd come in through. He holds his bat at the ready. He can see snow beasts, but they're a few yards away. "You can wait here, if you want. This should be quick," and then he steps outside, to start smashing them to bits.

He can't help chortling with laughter at the chivalry being displayed as Bucky headed out the door. But he followed right behind and decided it might be fun to see this in action. The cold took his breath away but there were things that needed to be taken care of.
Summoning his daggers, he held them crossed in front of him and waited. When one came after him, the advisor let one of his daggers fly into the head and it disappeared. Turning to look briefly to see if his companion was alright, the dagger vanished and and lance was in its place. Crouching down a bit, he leaped into the air and came right down onto the next one's head, falling easily enough into a newly formed snowbank.

He notices Ignis fighting from the corner of his eye, but can't spare his full attention, as a snow-feline grabbed his bat and he resorted to beating its face to powder with his metal fist. He landed the last blow just in time to jump aside as Ignis landed. He hadn't needed to, but the attack was both impressive and intimidating.
"You didn't need me at all, did you?" he asks with a chuckle, swinging his bat to get the snow clumps off. "You still want me to walk back to the tunnels with you?" Since he needed so much protecting and all.

Pulling a healing potion out, he broke it and then touched the other man's non metal arm so that any scratches, scrapes, bruises, bleeding or broken anything would be healed right up throughout his body. Ignis smiled at the question because he got to learn a little about the man that Steve had chosen over Tony. "Assistance is always appreciated in any form." After all, he had learned the value of teamwork with the lads back home.
Not wanting to put the man out or trouble him further, the advisor shook his head. "I should be fine. But it was a pleasure to meet you and to be able to fight alongside you."

He can't help being a little alarmed when Ignis breaks the bottle, seemingly on purpose, but then the healing washes through him and he finds himself blinking owlishly, reaching up to touch his arm where Ignis had. "Oh... we definitely don't have that where I'm from," he replies, but he feels a whole lot better. He can't even be annoyed that it was wasted on him.
"Thanks," he says with a smile that actually gets all the way to his eyes, and offers a salute. "Be safe," and then he turns and runs -- heading in what was hopefully the direction of the rest of his teammates.
