Let it Snow: Red Start
The doors slam shut, the train moves. Through the snow this time but the shuddering is almost worse that entering the void. "Red team to doors." The visibility out of the window is low but they are moving further up the mountain.
The doors open, allowing red team to jump. The snow here is thick, there is little protection from the howling winds and biting cold.
Their SCA shows a route, following it will, presumably lead them to the gang that caused these problems. Here on the low slopes of the mountain there are some homesteads. Much fewer than in the town itself but cottages and small farm houses. All seem abandoned.
For now there is not much to do but to walk, forge a path through the snow. Fight the snow and ice monsters that attack and do their best to survive as they follow the map towards their goal.

Fighting
It doesn't surprise him that Stark is keeping an eye on her too, and likely offering aid-- but why. Was a child being sent to help kill some sort of lunatic professor? But she's keeping up, and isn't acting like a child normally would under these circumstances. Which means maybe he's wrong about how old she is.
Dio doesn't do a thing though, until the fighting starts, and he's still keeping an eye in the girl's direction. It's obvious in short order exactly how she fights, and that trouble's going to result - and only then does the vampire bother to actually interfere as one of the icy monstrosities turns to attempt to be rid of its small pest. Dio and The World strike in unison, sending the creature staggering and turning its attention to him instead, leaving its back exposed and focus entirely off the child.
He's not used to tanking, but there's no time like the present to learn, and provide other people easier targets.
Re: Fighting
She noticed just after she hit the hilt of her dagger on the ice creatures head, a blow that did nothing, not even chip the ice, that she was in trouble. The ice creature turned and she made to jump backwards. But before she could activate the grav-con unit that Lightning had given her the man struck the creature.
She was shaken off but managed to land unharmed thanks to some quick slowing of gravity magic. Now the ice creature was distracted so she can strike again, this time at the foot. If it has no base to stand, it will fall. Hopefully.

Even if she seems to understand very well what to do with the business end of a dagger, and has enough courage to resume fighting without any hesitation. It's not hard to keep the frozen monstrosity's attention on him even as she goes for its feet, up until the knife proves not all of the ice is as hard as it should be, by the brittle CRUNCH that follows her attack.
Unfortunately it doesn't fall, though it does produce a hideous grinding noise that might well be a scream and jerk its foot back with a speed that belies its size, if only briefly. Doing so might take the girl for a sudden ride, especially when the unseen fist of The World sends it lurching further off balance with a vicious strike that sends spiderwebs of fractures across its surface.
More weak points. Ones Dio's not really in a good position to capitalize on, he's too busy making sure the thing doesn't suddenly turn on the tiny and probably fragile little human.

After this mission she hopes to never go near ice again, even if ice dancing with Curufin had been fun. She hates it even more as the leg jerks back, inadvertantly kicking her backwards into a snowdrift. It is so quick she doesn't have time to activate the grav con.
She clambers out of the snowdrift, shaking snow out of her hair and jumps closer to the fight once more watching the man who is doing a good job at fighting it and distracting it. The knees maybe? Taking out a persons knees is a good strategy, she has no idea if that works with ice monsters. She runs towards it again to stab in the back of its knees.
"Be watching your left!" She called as one of it's fists moved towards the man.
after like two weeks.
And then is promptly slapped into the nearest snowdrift hard enough to leave a nice outline in the doing. While this does leave her dealing with the ice monster for a minute or so by herself, it's not precisely swift and agile, and its efforts to swat her away as well as she works on hamstringing the thing may well be dodgeable. Especially given the damage its icy hide has gotten already, slowing it further. Hopefully she can, she doesn't look too durable.
The vampire drags himself out of his crater, still dusted with snow. That really did hurt. "Okay, thank you for the warning."
He might be serious. She did try to warn him!
And then he tackles the thing straight on, like a football player, or perhaps a particularly large dog after a favored squeak toy. With luck, the girl with the sharp knife won't be in the way, or this could go badly very fast!
.
Also the idiot man who promptly dives at the monster. She saw movement out of the edge of her eye and managed to jump out the way, even rolling though it was not as smooth as she would like, considering the snow.
She glared at him and the monster but was soon distracted by another snowman. She was better at fighting snowmen then the ice monsters, they were easy to smush!
