All battles come to an end. Professor Chill and his henchpeople is defeated, the ice giant slain by the brave heroes of purple team. The townspeople led out of the tunnels and due to some extraordinary pun-hacking skills by Kaito the weather machine is de-powered.

Being a magical snowstorm the shutting down of the weather machine causes it to vanish, snow begins to melt and then evaporates into the air before it can become a larger problem in terms of a flood. The temperatures rise, going from dangerously cold to a warm spring day, warm enough that the voidtreckers will soon be too warm all bundled up as they are. The clouds disappear, the sun shines. Within a short period of time the streets are dry, the mountainsides are green and the trees are bright with flowers.

The streets are still a mess, property is damaged and the clean up operation is going to be intense but it doesn't look like there is any lasting ecological damage at least.

The ice labyrinth vanishes and those inside it will find themselves suddenly standing in the field below. For red team, the journey to the top of the mountain took four days in the blizzard but with the weather clear and going downhill they will reach the valley by the end of day eleven.

The army has arrived and mostly taken over gathering the injured and dealing with the more serious damage but there is plenty to do for those who still wish to help. Houses need put back to rights, streets and paths need sweeping of debris.

Help out, find your friends, swap stories. Celebrate a job well done.

Towards mid afternoon of day twelve a beeping from their SCA's should draw everyone's attention. The map leads them to a place just out of sight from the town and there is the Voidtrecker Express. It is time to leave.

"That sounds like fun. I really like the beach." She gently touched a strand of blond hair. "I wonder if I should try and change my hair color?"

Naminés eyes brightened as he continued. "A volcano! Really? What's that like? I've never been to a hot springs before. Is it really hot?"

"I don't know, you could ask if anyone has the gear to dye it, onboard?"

He laughs. "Yeah. Although Fujisan hasn't erupted in hundreds and hundreds of years, but it's still technically classed as active." A shrug. "Depends on the spring! They're all geothermal, you see - so it depends how close to the lava the source is. Some of them are actually boiling, you can't use them to swim. And some are really nice to sit and soak in."

Naminé laughed. "Maybe I will but I don't know what color I'd choose." She'd never thought she'd be able to do things like dye her hair.

"Do you think we can run into a hot springs on the train? I'd love to swim in one." A beat. "When I learn how to swim."

"Well, if you do, I'd advise you NOT to go blue, unless you're really keen." He advises. "I'm told it tends to fade to green over time. Unless you particularly want that effect, anyway!"

He shrugs. "Don't see why it wouldn't be possible, at some point! Who knows!" He grins wryly. "Well, if you're just sitting and soaking you don't need to swim, but it's probably a useful skill to learn anyway."

"But if I died my hair blue then it's like I am dying it green and blue?" She paused and then continued to sort out her thoughts and opinions on the matter. "I have blue eyes." They were a bright crystal blue that glimmered when she looked up to meet his gaze.

"Right. Um... what hair color do you think would look good on me?"

She was putting swimming and hot springs on the back burner.

"Well, blue to start? I dunno - I've never bothered with dye. Wigs are easier when your hair is as dark as mine." Also, less permanent. Important when one is wearing disguises.

"Hm. You probably want bolder colors, I think - bright but not too dark. Jewel tones. You might look good in pastels but you'd have to be careful you didn't look too washed out. Maybe a blue to match your eyes? Or you could go for a warmer tone, something natural rather than artifical - a red, maybe."

"I hadn't thought about wigs." She gently tugged at her hair. "Wouldn't that be uncomfortable." She had a lot of hair compared to him and Naminé imagined that it'd be difficult for her to hide completely.

"Natural?" She gave it some thought and then asked, "If I dyed my hair red... I'd look like Kairi. I think. That might be too confusing. What about green or orange? If I did orange then everyone would know what team I was on."

"You'd probably have to wear a hairnet, so... maybe?" He considers. "Orange I don't think would go well with your coloring. Green... a darker green, I think, might work."

"Then I'll try it." Maybe she should ask Terra too or Madoka. Naminé wasn't sure but it sounded like it could be fun.

"I think I'll have to wait until we're back on the train."

"Probably! That's if we can find stuff to dye it with, of course! I can give you a hand with it if we do - I've not dyed my own, but I'm familiar with the techniques."

Always useful to know how, just in case.

"Thank you but we'll have to wait and see."

She paused and glanced around. "It looks like we should head back to the train. I think things are alright here... it's... this way, right?"

He nods. "Yep! C'mon, I'll walk with you since we have to head back."

She smiled back at him. "Thank you."

Naminé took a few steps forward and then waited for Kaito before setting a pace that suited them both. It was a nice walk back without all the snow everywhere.

"You're welcome." He grins at her and matches her pace, enjoying the peace now the monsters have gone.
