Day Twelve, Conclusion

All battles come to an end. Professor Chill and his henchpeople is defeated, the ice giant slain by the brave heroes of purple team. The townspeople led out of the tunnels and due to some extraordinary pun-hacking skills by Kaito the weather machine is de-powered.

Being a magical snowstorm the shutting down of the weather machine causes it to vanish, snow begins to melt and then evaporates into the air before it can become a larger problem in terms of a flood. The temperatures rise, going from dangerously cold to a warm spring day, warm enough that the voidtreckers will soon be too warm all bundled up as they are. The clouds disappear, the sun shines. Within a short period of time the streets are dry, the mountainsides are green and the trees are bright with flowers.

The streets are still a mess, property is damaged and the clean up operation is going to be intense but it doesn't look like there is any lasting ecological damage at least.

The ice labyrinth vanishes and those inside it will find themselves suddenly standing in the field below. For red team, the journey to the top of the mountain took four days in the blizzard but with the weather clear and going downhill they will reach the valley by the end of day eleven.

The army has arrived and mostly taken over gathering the injured and dealing with the more serious damage but there is plenty to do for those who still wish to help. Houses need put back to rights, streets and paths need sweeping of debris.

Help out, find your friends, swap stories. Celebrate a job well done.

Towards mid afternoon of day twelve a beeping from their SCA's should draw everyone's attention. The map leads them to a place just out of sight from the town and there is the Voidtrecker Express. It is time to leave.

Once all the people were safely out of the tunnel and all the snow had melted Romeo made his way into the town. It was good to see that all the people could go back to their houses and everyone was safe! It must have been really scary for them to have to leave their homes because of the ice monsters!

He goes looking for his friends, he's been with Madoka the whole time but he wants to check that Joss is alright and Kaito and especially Elfnein! He has been worried about her a lot! He wished they were on the same team.

As he's looking for her though he is easily roped into helping, carrying this, straightening that. Comforting a crying child. He wants to help the people here as much as he can before they have to leave!

[OTA: Catch him at any point between the mountain and going to the town.]

Victorious and exhausted, Tony reached the bottom of the mountain and headed toward the field. Past that was the town, which was the ultimate destination. Still, he was very pleased to see the orange team was in one piece. Some of them looked a little worse for wear, but he knew they were in good hands as the healers were gathering.

Tugging off his coat, he tucked it under his arm as he strolled along. The green scarf he'd kept around his neck was loose now and gloves had been stuffed in the coat pockets. He was counting people as he spotted them, trying to account for all the voidtreckers. The town had a long way to go to get back in shape, but the threat was gone and that had been what the voidtreckers were there for. The rest of this was the town's responsibility (though they still might help a bit before they were summoned to the train).

There were a few people in particular he was looking for, but one tall, dusty blonde haired man in blue was at the top of his list.

Guess who's been 'breaking' into houses and straightening and cleaning things and making sure food's been put away and properly stored. He knows that's not super high on the list of important things but thinking about how much food would have to be thrown out was enough to give him anxiety! Food is expensive! He's spent hours doing that and also helping a few people with laundry and making a few new friends.

It's only by chance that he runs into Tony. There's a number of flowers in his hand as he looks up from where he's definitely been picking flowers. He quickly hides them behind his back like he's been caught with something he shouldn't have and just smiles his. 'I'm totally hiding something from you smile'

"S'up Mr Stark! Glad to see you made it back okay! Did you get to talk to Professor Chill? Did you ask him if he was a chill guy? Was he a chill guy?" He asks at his normal anxious speed, wild flowers still tucked behind his back.

Peter's out and about helping the people in the village. He's been through several homes to make sure things were neat and tidy for their return and stored food that was out back correctly so it wouldn't have to go bad. Seriously! Aunt May would have a heart attack if they ever had to throw out that much food! He goes to person to person to see if there's anything he can help with and made a few friends.

He keeps getting sent on errands for them-will you take this over to my friend? Ask so and so if they did this or that, can you get me something from the store? Will you help me dry out my clothes? The flowers in my vase died, will you get me some more? That last was a request from a sweet elderly lady whom he's helped more than others since she didn't seem to have anyone to help her. She told him he was such a nice young man and also treated him to the saddest romantic tale he's ever heard in his life.

Anyone can catch Peter zipping through town and doing errands for people. They might even catch him out in the fields searching for flowers for the old lady's vase.

For the moment Ignis was focused on a little girl's knee cap that had gotten scraped up pretty badly when she was running from one of the snow beasts. That of course was before it up and suddenly disappeared. Taking out a potion, he applied it to her knee cap.

"There you go." he said softly before her face broke into a huge grin. She turned around to go to her family, but then turned around to the advisor and hugged him so hard that he nearly fell over. "Thank you mister!" she laughed happily before jumping up and down in front of him and then taking off.

He saw that young father again, the one that had thought Madoka was his daughter and that man shook his hand. "You take care of you and that young 'un." Ignis couldn't help but smile slightly and nod. "I will certainly do so."

And that's when he turned around and saw the face he'd been wanting to see the most. The man who started this whole journey for him. First by being made the leader of the Blue Team without voting for a single council member. Then it changed for Ignis again by having his heart opened to a relationship and it was opening further by considering a family of sorts.

Seeing Tony wearing the green scarf just made him proud and he waited patiently for the Red Team Leader to make his way over.

Tony grinned when he saw Peter, though it turned amused as he watched the kid try and hide the flowers. "He had a rather frigid personality. Feanor made some remarks to him that I think you would've approved of."

He tilted his head, trying to catch a glance of what was behind Peter. "Are those for Gwen?" He asked, not hiding at all that he knew what his pupil was up to.

It didn't surprise him at all to see Ignis helping to heal people. He would've expected no less from the generous man. His face was a sight for sore eyes and Tony's face broke into a wide grin. He had a mental image of Ignis rushing out to him like spouses did when seeing their mates coming back from war, but that wasn't his boyfriend's personality. Ah well.

He wasn't going to play by the same rules as he opened his arms and pulled the man into a tight hug, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Good to see you. Are you alright?"

"Hello mister Tony!" It is not the blue team member he is looking for but it is a blue team member nonetheless. He had his coat tied round his waist, his hat and gloves were gone too. It was nice to be warm again but now he felt like he had far too many clothes on!

"Did you stop professor Chill? Is everyone in red team alright? Did you have to fight lots of monsters?"

For the first time in a few weeks Ignis felt joyful. His boyfriend had his arms around him and he held on tightly. For as undemonstrative or being more closed off and private than the Red Team Leader as he was, the strength of his hug conveyed how much the other man had been missed. Home was in this man's arms as far as the advisor was concerned.

He blushed at the kiss on the cheek and nodded. "I'm fine." His expression quickly went to one of concern and a hand went up to Tony's face.

"Are you alright?"

Green eyes looked the other over, as if looking for signs of wear and tear. If his lover was in need of healing or anything like that it would be done without hesitation because that was just who Ignis was.

"Hey Romeo!" Tony grinned down at the boy. He might not have been the person he was looking for, but he was always happy to have this tiny optimist around. He noted the attempt to get cooler and held out his hand. "Want me to take your coat for you? That's got to be pretty warm still to have it around your waist like that."

He nodded at the questions. "Yes to all three. There were giant snowmen who attacked. Did you see anything like that here? Is everyone on your team okay?"

She is so ridiculously happy that the snow is gone. She never thought she would miss being warm so much. But after days of trudging through an endless blizzard she feels almost giddy with relief.

She was mostly unharmed, scrapes and bruises for the most part. She hadn't gotten to professor Chill, waylaid by snowmen but those snowmen had got what they deserved.

Snow was stupid.

She isn't helping anyone. She has done more good deeds lately than any shadow serving child should and she's taking the opportunity to look for any plants she might know on this alien world.

She sees Peter, who is not a flower but is probably her friend and she waved. "Hello Peter. You did no be being smushed by ice monsters."

"It's okay sir! You got your own coat to carry!" He doesn't want to make Tony carry his things for him, even if it was still pretty warm around his waist.

"No, but some ice tried to trap me on the ground and there were icicles and Namine made friends with a snowbear. Everyone is alright! The tunnels started to fall down but we got everyone out!"

He could certainly feel the welcome in Ignis' hug and the smile on his lips. If he were the taller one, he might have even attempted to spin with that hug like in the movies. As it was, he pressed his cheek into Ignis' hand, relishing in the warm touch. He was tired, but in good spirits and didn't have any visible injuries.

"I'm fine. We had healers in our group so everyone is coming back just fine." And before Ignis could worry more. "And I didn't need them much, so no fretting. I'll be even better if I never hear another ice or snow pun again."

"You sure? I don't mind." Romeo was a sweet kid. He was glad he didn't appear to have any injuries from this ordeal, which was a relief. Tony frowned at the idea of the young kid getting attacked by icicles though. He wished there was more of a way to protect him, though he knew Ignis was the best person for the job.

"She did what? How did she make friends with a bear?"

There was a relieved sigh from Ignis as Tony basically said he was fine. There was a small smile at the last part because that sounded like a challenge. "How cold of you to say so darling." There was a few seconds and then he moved away quickly.

He had a feeling he was going to get into trouble for that pun, but he missed doing such things. And it felt good to play as the winter of the land had miraculously melted into a beautiful warm Spring day.

Terra had been handed a baby and if there was a more nervous person more highly unqualified for that job, they didn't exist on this planet. But he did end up giving the baby right back pretty much. The mother had just been grateful that the Blue Team had helped her and her family escape the ice caverns.

There was some ice that was stubbornly sticking to the pond and the keyblade wielder had raised his keyblade and then brought it down hard to crack it. Cheers went up and Terra found himself an unexpected hero of a small farm family.

Heading back to where the main part of the Blue Team had assembled, his blue eyes searched for Namine, but hadn't seen her as of yet. He was starting to get a little worried and went to go check the Orange Team to see if she'd gone back when he came up against a fellow team member.

Nodding at the boy on his team, he smiled. For some reason this kid reminded him of Ventus with the kind heart he'd witnessed in the background.

"Hey."

Tony laughed and rolled his eyes at the pun, but as Ignis stepped away he reached out and caught his hand. Dropping his coat so he had two hands free, he pulled the younger man back into an embrace before kissing him. He let it linger, so glad to be back with his closest friend as well as boyfriend. After a minute or so, he drew back.

“Snow-n’t you say you missed me, darling?”

"I don't really know sir but it's something to do with her magic and memories." And it sounded kind of bad but Namine was such a nice person he was sure she wouldn't actually do anything bad!

"So she made it think it was her friend and it was. So it didn't try and eat us."

He turned to look back at Tony and smiled when his hand was caught. It was such a small gesture but in reality it meant a lot.

Ignis found himself in another embrace and relaxed into the kiss that he received. A smile appeared on his face at the pun he got in response.

"Ice-uppose you could say that I missed you." And after a moment, he moved back into his lover's arms and gently rubbed their noses together. "But now you're back to where you belong."

"Hello mister Terra!" Romeo grinned at him and ran over waving. He hadn't really spoken to Terra in the tunnels, they had both been so busy helping everyone. It had been a very full few days and Romeo is exhausted.

"Are you all warmed up?" It was much better now that it wasn't freezing cold! Romeo was glad that all the people in the town were safe now and he just hoped that they were able to get all of the town fixed again!

Tony actually looked slightly embarrassed at the nose kiss, but he remained smiling. It was such an intimate gesture to do so openly, which might be strange coming from someone who would be willing to cop a feel and make out in public. Those tender gestures, the ones more from the heart and less from lust or dominance were harder to share with anyone. It wasn't enough to make him step away from Ignis or loosen his hold around the other man.

Who would've thought that the place he belonged was on a train that traveled through the void kidnapping people and making them go on life or death missions? "And no offense.. but I'm really sick of the rations you made us," he teased lightly.

Elfnein was also helping out making sure anything that could be done before they left was done. Though she couldn't carry much she was still running around trying to help until she noticed Romeo helping out as well.

"Romeo, you're helping out to?"

Conan would have rather liked to have taken notes as the ice labyrinth disappeared and he found himself on the field below, but... he'd hit the ice hard during all the excitement earlier. The back of his head was aching and he was certain he had a concussion.

So all he can do is endure the change in location,still wrapped up in Hattori's coat from the other detective's first aid efforts.

Danny comes swooping down to the ground, with a broad grin. In a quick flash of light he transforms into his human side just in time to land on the ground and run forward.

"That was awesome!"

Raven is exhausted, and all she really wants is to get back to the train and go find a quiet corner and curl up. But they're not done yet even as she's pulling off the first layer of her warm-gear and stuffing it in her backpack. There are still people to take stock off and things to do, including injuries.

Finding Conan isn't hard, even with the over-sized coat. "You're conscious, which is a good thing. What happened?" No permission asked as Raven sat down next to him, and reached a hand out to his shoulder softly. Preparation, as after this quick assessment she'd start healing.
