Day Twelve, Conclusion
All battles come to an end. Professor Chill and his henchpeople is defeated, the ice giant slain by the brave heroes of purple team. The townspeople led out of the tunnels and due to some extraordinary pun-hacking skills by Kaito the weather machine is de-powered.
Being a magical snowstorm the shutting down of the weather machine causes it to vanish, snow begins to melt and then evaporates into the air before it can become a larger problem in terms of a flood. The temperatures rise, going from dangerously cold to a warm spring day, warm enough that the voidtreckers will soon be too warm all bundled up as they are. The clouds disappear, the sun shines. Within a short period of time the streets are dry, the mountainsides are green and the trees are bright with flowers.
The streets are still a mess, property is damaged and the clean up operation is going to be intense but it doesn't look like there is any lasting ecological damage at least.
The ice labyrinth vanishes and those inside it will find themselves suddenly standing in the field below. For red team, the journey to the top of the mountain took four days in the blizzard but with the weather clear and going downhill they will reach the valley by the end of day eleven.
The army has arrived and mostly taken over gathering the injured and dealing with the more serious damage but there is plenty to do for those who still wish to help. Houses need put back to rights, streets and paths need sweeping of debris.
Help out, find your friends, swap stories. Celebrate a job well done.
Towards mid afternoon of day twelve a beeping from their SCA's should draw everyone's attention. The map leads them to a place just out of sight from the town and there is the Voidtrecker Express. It is time to leave.

She was mostly unharmed, scrapes and bruises for the most part. She hadn't gotten to professor Chill, waylaid by snowmen but those snowmen had got what they deserved.
Snow was stupid.
She isn't helping anyone. She has done more good deeds lately than any shadow serving child should and she's taking the opportunity to look for any plants she might know on this alien world.
She sees Peter, who is not a flower but is probably her friend and she waved. "Hello Peter. You did no be being smushed by ice monsters."

"Hey! What's up, Buttercup?" He greets her in his usual way. "No, not this time. He did try though-which was super uncool of him but Spider-Man's made of stronger stuff. Plus I had help." Not that he couldn't have handled Iceman on his own, of course but it is only fair to mention it was a group effort. "How was fighting against your first super villain go?"
no subject
So all was well with the world.

"Yeah, my first dealing with a real super villain was uh-I got picked up and pulled like a thousand feet up and then dropped in a lake. Didn't stop me from taking him down though." He just almost drowned and Tony had to save him, no biggie.
"How was Professor Chill? No too chill at all, I would expect." He grins at his own joke.

"He did be being stupid and Feanor did be making everything on fire and the man with a number for a name did be shooting him. Priestess Lightning and mister Stark did be fighting with him too." He had stood no chance.
She grinned at Peter. She had missed him. He was funny and always nice to her even if he was also annoying and couldn't stay out of trouble ever!

"Man, I feel sorry for the guy." He admits after hearing how many people had been after Professor Chill. "I mean, it's totally not cool that he tried impose a permanent winter on this town. The people here are so nice, I wonder what made him want to build that machine anyway." He says a bit thoughtfully.
"But hey! This place is as close to how things are back home on my world as we've gotten so far. Maybe I can show you some things."
no subject
She didn't feel sorry for Professor Chill. He had failed, he had lost. People who lost died. It was the way of the world. His plan had been stupid and he had paid the price.
"If you do be wanting to." She nodded with another smile and then, deciding quickly, tilted her head. "Peter."
She paused but then spoke again, as if waiting for any acknowledgement would make her not go through with this.
"You do be being my friend."

He hears her say his name and glances over at her, the next words have him feeling a little like his heart's melted and he just smiles as though she's made his whole day.
"You're my friend too." He tells her, offering her his hand. "Let's go have some fun."
no subject
"Okay, we can be having fun."
If this world was like this, then he would know the good things to do already.

He leads her back into town, pointing out things as they walk and telling her what they are, giving her time to ask questions if she needs. Peter's suddenly wishing they'd have more than just today to do stuff-there's so much in this world he could show her but not enough time to really show her the things he likes-like movies and video games. He'd shown the the VR set but he thinks she'd probably like something more like the x-box better.
