Day Twelve, Conclusion

All battles come to an end. Professor Chill and his henchpeople is defeated, the ice giant slain by the brave heroes of purple team. The townspeople led out of the tunnels and due to some extraordinary pun-hacking skills by Kaito the weather machine is de-powered.

Being a magical snowstorm the shutting down of the weather machine causes it to vanish, snow begins to melt and then evaporates into the air before it can become a larger problem in terms of a flood. The temperatures rise, going from dangerously cold to a warm spring day, warm enough that the voidtreckers will soon be too warm all bundled up as they are. The clouds disappear, the sun shines. Within a short period of time the streets are dry, the mountainsides are green and the trees are bright with flowers.

The streets are still a mess, property is damaged and the clean up operation is going to be intense but it doesn't look like there is any lasting ecological damage at least.

The ice labyrinth vanishes and those inside it will find themselves suddenly standing in the field below. For red team, the journey to the top of the mountain took four days in the blizzard but with the weather clear and going downhill they will reach the valley by the end of day eleven.

The army has arrived and mostly taken over gathering the injured and dealing with the more serious damage but there is plenty to do for those who still wish to help. Houses need put back to rights, streets and paths need sweeping of debris.

Help out, find your friends, swap stories. Celebrate a job well done.

Towards mid afternoon of day twelve a beeping from their SCA's should draw everyone's attention. The map leads them to a place just out of sight from the town and there is the Voidtrecker Express. It is time to leave.

He turned to look back at Tony and smiled when his hand was caught. It was such a small gesture but in reality it meant a lot.

Ignis found himself in another embrace and relaxed into the kiss that he received. A smile appeared on his face at the pun he got in response.

"Ice-uppose you could say that I missed you." And after a moment, he moved back into his lover's arms and gently rubbed their noses together. "But now you're back to where you belong."

Tony actually looked slightly embarrassed at the nose kiss, but he remained smiling. It was such an intimate gesture to do so openly, which might be strange coming from someone who would be willing to cop a feel and make out in public. Those tender gestures, the ones more from the heart and less from lust or dominance were harder to share with anyone. It wasn't enough to make him step away from Ignis or loosen his hold around the other man.

Who would've thought that the place he belonged was on a train that traveled through the void kidnapping people and making them go on life or death missions? "And no offense.. but I'm really sick of the rations you made us," he teased lightly.

There was no one around which was the only reason Ignis was doing any of this. The moment someone showed up he would take Tony's hand and dissapear.

"No offense taken, but you should take your chef with you on missions where he can cook properly for you." It was a playful admonishment because the advisor knew it wasn't up to the train leader how the missions went. However, he did hope to be needed on the Red Team someday.

Tony laughed and tugged him into another hug. Pulling back, he grinned, "Think next time I'll be able to steal you from your blue team?" He asked. He knew that was incredibly unlikely given how much the blue team meant to Ignis. "Or maybe I'll have to join your group instead."

It would be rather fun to go fight with Ignis sometime.

He looked a little worried when asked about the Blue Team. Ignis had a bigger team now but there was the problem of that one member that he had to guard the rest of them against. "As long as Madoka and Romeo come with me." Those were his kids, everyone else pretty much were fine, but he worried about those two the most, the girl especially.

The advisor stared at the older man a moment and nodded. "Think your team will be able to live without you for one mission? My team is much better." Yes he had pride in his team and was very happy being with them.

Fighting alongside Tony would be a wonderful dream turned to reality.

"No, they need you too much," he conceded. He'd been wrong to suggest Ignis join the red team. If they were ever going to do a mission together, he would need to join the blue. He was okay with that. He just had to find a mission that didn't feel like he was leaving the red team in a critical way.

"Well your team doesn't have gods and dead things.. well, 'corpses' on it. So yes, it's better." Romeo was sort of dead, but there was a hug difference between him and Prisoner. "The guy makes me want to disinfect the whole train."

"Of course it's better." Ignis agreed with a little superior look in his eyes. No matter what else Tony said, his lover had heard him admit his team was better, check mate.

"There are a few that could use a good scrub down." the advisor smiled. "But shall we focus on them, or shall I give you something else to focus on?"

Yes that was most definitely an invitation.

He rolled his eyes but laughed, finding Ignis' pride in his team cute. And just before he made another comment on how they were going to give those individuals a scrub down, Ignis made that comment.

"Something else. Definitely something else." He drew Ignis to him and kissed him. He slipped one hand in one of Ignis' back pockets. "You lead, I'll follow."

The advisor smiled. "When we get back on the train, plan to become dinner then." He was immensely enjoying the hand in his back pocket and he lifted one of his own to touch Tony's face.

With a sort of devious smile, Ignis slowly slid it down the older man's neck and down his chest, coming to lightly rest it over his knight's heart.

His voice lowered as if anyone could overhear them and looked into Tony's eyes. "You won't need to do anything other than relax. And I promise I'll be gentle."

Tony's eyes darkened as his love touched his chest. He didn't care how stupid it sounded, but when Ignis did things like that, he felt like he was as broad and beefy as Steve or Tarzan.

"Please be anything but gentle.. and we need to get to the train right now." He leaned in and kissed Ignis' lips, not caring where they were. He had missed his boyfriend!

Tony's expression had changed to something far more heated and predatory than before which gave him a thrill. It was such a powerful feeling to know that he held the leader of the train's heart. That worked both ways of course, but Ignis wasn't the leader of the train.

He wanted to be naughty right now but didn't want to risk it, so his hands lifted to gently brush through the dark hair. "If you don't want gentle, I believe I can accommodate your request."

His hand in Ignis' back pocket gripped the flesh tighter and more obvious as Tony stepped closer, their faces inches from each other. He stared up at those beautiful emerald eyes, while his own were boiling with need.

"Tiger.. if we don't leave for the train, I will strip you and fuck your brains out here in this field." One of his hands slipped upward to tangle in his hair, forcing (lightly!) the man's face close enough to kiss again.

A sigh escaped the advisor as the hand in his back pocket got a little more forceful. Oh how he loved to tease Tony, because the older man was an absolute joy.

"Not here darling. It won't give me time to tie with my suspenders and have you writhing with need for me."

Ignis hissed with his own need as his hair was tugged but so far was able to keep it at bay. Moving his hands to his lover's shoulders to dig into, he tried to smile. "And just think, you might frighten the children with how big you are."

Tony found himself laughing instead of getting his boyfriend to agree to go to the train.

"I've missed you, darling," he stepped back, and shook his head. It hadn't been but a few days, but he was amazed at how much he'd missed Ignis' wit and warmth. Hell, he'd missed warmth of any kind, but that was beside the point.

"Please tell me you won't keep me waiting out here too long before we can go enjoy that sex-capade of yours."

There was a tender smile. "I've missed you too." Inwardly he wondered why Tony was removing himself though, as much as it was for the better.

"I don't like to keep you waiting any more than you like waiting darling." He gave his knight a kiss to the forehead and took one the other's hands in his own.

"Now then, shall we go collect our children? The sooner we do, the sooner we can go home and I can get to the business of tying you up."

And by children he meant their teams.

It was either that or pull Ignis' clothes off. This seemed safer. He reached up and brushed his boyfriend's bangs back lovingly. "You never fail to make me feel wanted."

With his hand in Ignis', he headed off to check on 'their children' and the rest of the idiots from the train. Once they heard from the other team leads, they were free to go back to the train and reconnect before they had to worry about roommates.

The advisor smiled and attempted to look put off. "As if there would ever be a day in which that would be the case darling." But it had him get another glimpse into the other's personality.

It reminded him of their conversations way back when, Tony had said he didn't put himself up for a vote because he'd been afraid.

Wisely Ignis just smiled and squeezed Tony's hand as they collected the children and headed back to their room.
