Day Twelve, Conclusion

All battles come to an end. Professor Chill and his henchpeople is defeated, the ice giant slain by the brave heroes of purple team. The townspeople led out of the tunnels and due to some extraordinary pun-hacking skills by Kaito the weather machine is de-powered.

Being a magical snowstorm the shutting down of the weather machine causes it to vanish, snow begins to melt and then evaporates into the air before it can become a larger problem in terms of a flood. The temperatures rise, going from dangerously cold to a warm spring day, warm enough that the voidtreckers will soon be too warm all bundled up as they are. The clouds disappear, the sun shines. Within a short period of time the streets are dry, the mountainsides are green and the trees are bright with flowers.

The streets are still a mess, property is damaged and the clean up operation is going to be intense but it doesn't look like there is any lasting ecological damage at least.

The ice labyrinth vanishes and those inside it will find themselves suddenly standing in the field below. For red team, the journey to the top of the mountain took four days in the blizzard but with the weather clear and going downhill they will reach the valley by the end of day eleven.

The army has arrived and mostly taken over gathering the injured and dealing with the more serious damage but there is plenty to do for those who still wish to help. Houses need put back to rights, streets and paths need sweeping of debris.

Help out, find your friends, swap stories. Celebrate a job well done.

Towards mid afternoon of day twelve a beeping from their SCA's should draw everyone's attention. The map leads them to a place just out of sight from the town and there is the Voidtrecker Express. It is time to leave.

The advisor was watching over his team as they helped people even after they'd helped save the townspeople. This was his team and he was so infinitely proud of them helping. One of his team members were currently trying to help get a mewling cat out of a tree for a little boy.

Amused, Ignis turned away and rummaged through his backpack, making sure everything was in order. That amusement faded as he heard a distressed tone coming right from Tony.

Turning to the man's voice, he saw the Red Team Leader running towards him with a small bundle that looked much like a little rag doll because he couldn't see much detail at this point.

Hurrying over, he looked at the bundle wrapped up in Tony's arms and realized who it was. "What happened?" he asked the older man. Immediately did a thorough visual inspection of Conan as he waited for an answer.

"I hit my head in the ice labyrinth," Conan says bluntly. "I have a concussion." He'd had one before, and he definitely recognized the feeling of it.

"Are you hurt anywhere else, kid?" He asked. "Did the labyrinth drop you or what happened? Ignis, the orange team all look pretty banged up."

"Just scrapes and bruises. The entire labyrinth moved and threw everyone around.I got thrown into one of the walls."

He'd been lucky not to break anything.

The advisor scowled and took a healing potion out of his bag. Crushing it with his hand, he applied it to Conan, looking at the older man. "He needs rest. This will help his body speed up the process, so all scrapes and bruises will be healed. However, he needs rest and quiet which means no conversation at all." Too bad he didn't have anything to put the boy to sleep.

"I'll see if I can't find the rest of the Orange team to offer what aid I can." His eyes looked over the boy in Tony's arms a final time before lifting his gaze to the other. "We need to somehow have healers on each team. It will depend on how many are on the team as to how many healers will be required. There's at least two on mine."

And no, he's not lending Madoka out.

Tony's frown deepened hearing what had happened. It was unfortunate there hadn't been a way to prepare for that kind of situation.

"We'll get him some," Tony promised, Ignis. Looking down, he smirked. "Guess that means I have a captive audience till we get to the train. Do you want me to grab one of your friends before we head back? I may have to come back out here and I don't want you to be alone."

Regarding Ignis' comment on the healers, Tony nodded. "I believe Orange might be the only one without. I'll have to ask if Curufin can heal. We'll talk about it later, though."

Rest. Conan hated being bored, and he was already dreading the next few days. But he also had studied enough first aid to understand the reason why.

"Hattori Heiji," he says aloud. "We were together earlier." His expression creases in confusion as he tries to remember. "Earlier, we separated. He wanted to find help?"

Green eyes went from Tony to the boy when he spoke. He listened and then raised his head to look at the Red Team Leader. "Tony take Conan and get him on board the train. I can try and find the other boy as well as any other Orange team members that require assistance with healing."

There was a pleading look in the emerald depths to get the boy off of the former battle field and into a place where there wasn't so much strife or noise. The advisor wanted to heal Conan again but knew he'd done all he could.

So the next healing potion went onto Tony before Ignis walked off.

"Got it," he didn't need to be told twice. So long as Ignis was seeking out Conan's friend, he was going to get the small kid to safety. "I'm going!" He assured Ignis when he saw that pleading look on his face. "I swear!" He chuckled and shook his head.

He almost stepped away too fast before suddenly feeling a warmth course through him and the aches from the last week fade away. He glanced back, but Ignis was already walking off. Shaking his head again, he carried the kid in the coat bundle to the train. He debated whether to take him back to his room, but opted for the medical lab instead.

"I realize you aren't contagious but if anything were to happen to you, I wouldn't be able to get into your cabin. Just for now, I'm putting you in here." He tucked the boy in to the medical bed and looked around for more ways to make it comfortable. There really wasn't. "Thirsty or anything?"
