Red Team Onward!
Through the Wormhole
The wormhole is shown on their SCA maps and they should be able to plot a course to it easily enough. Hopefully they time things with Purple team so they can use the chaos of the initial clash to manouvere around and through the wormhole.
The wormhole itself is a ring of light against the blackness of space. A ring that is large enough for five ships in close formation to pass through at once.
They come out into a different galaxy. As long as they are quick and move away from the wormhole in good time they will not attract attention. Their SCA's show four points of investigation.
Planet One
This planet is relatively small and seems to be made mostly of volcanic rock. There are some active volcanoes but there is enough of the planet that is safe.
It seems devoid of any settlements, though there is evidence of mining. Probably a good place to make a base for the Red team to use for scouting.
Planet Two
This is much larger but seems to be a military base of operations rather than a planet where people live. There are plenty of warehouses and factories to sneak in and explore. Most of them seem to be building ships, or at least part of ships.
They are all guarded and Voidtreckers will have to act fast if spotted. Guards are equipped with blasters and are very much trained in shooting first and asking questions later.
Space Stations
There are two large space stations that have a lot of traffic, cargo ships, smaller fighter ships and even larger battleships come and go. Sneaking in will take some subterfuge and tactics.
If they get inside they will find guards everywhere. As long as they don't act suspiciously they should be able to move around the main common areas. There are barracks, mess halls, training halls. A large hanger for ships and huge storage areas for ship parts to be loaded onto cargo ships and taken away.

He goes looking for his father almost as soon as he arrives. Well, almost. He makes a detour to check out the volcanic rocks, and he collects some.
"Father! I came as soon as Tony called us and said Red Team needed more people." He smiles. "You came to help me with the goblins and flying wolves and the my firefighter's rescue work, so this time, I'm here to help you."

"Curufin!"
Were the tasks assigned to Orange Team a little too safe for his liking? Whatever the reason Fëanor is glad to see his son here. There's one thing he has to ask though.
"Did you bring your palantír with you?"
He'd be satisfied equally by any answer. They could use one here but he'd feel better knowing Curufin left it with his mother. Calmer, if he knew he can always reach her shall the need arise.

Yes, Team Orange's work was not dangerous enough for Curufin's liking. He had only gotten to fight one short battle with some Empire soldiers who had sneaked onto the shield station by landing a cloaked ship, and that had only happened once.
"No, I'm sorry, I didn't bring my palantir. I was worried about Orange Team not having a means to communicate long-distance, so I left it with Mother."

"Don't be. You're right. It's better than she has it now that you are here."
That's what he made them for, isn't it? Communication between teams. Even if he's got quite attached to who keeps which one, in that particular case it matters not. He's more than glad.

"It will help her worry less about us, to have that means of communication. At least, I hope so." He is a bit worried about Nerdanel. If Team Red should fall, she would lose her husband and her fifth son again. (Even if they come back via the luggage car!) She has enough worries about her family, especially with Maedrhos being sick and Maglor staying behind to care for him. [OOC: He doesn't know yet that Maedhros and Maglor have vanished from the train. ]
"So, what's the plan, if one has been created yet?"
no subject
"He came out with the idea that we shall have two teams. More if necessary." Of all the people on Red Team, it made the most sense for him to formulate said plan. The man definitely had experience with similar missions. "At least one to infiltrate the bases, or stations if needed in search of the weapon, and one or more to create enough of a distraction so the infiltration team can pass undetected."
It's rather obvious on which of those Fëanor envisions himself.

"I spoke to him briefly, but I thought it would be best to ask as many of Red Team's members as possible, since I don't know the team's social or political structure. But I especially wanted to ask you what you thought about any plans and what part you are going to be carrying out."
Not entirely obvious! Curufin gets his craftiness from his father, and Curufin had a moment of hesitation before deciding on being part of the distraction team. He'd have liked to be an infiltrator, but then, he's an excellent warrior, and fighters are clearly going to be needed. So he settled on being a fighter.
"Distraction team for me!" he adds.
