Red Team Onward!
Through the Wormhole
The wormhole is shown on their SCA maps and they should be able to plot a course to it easily enough. Hopefully they time things with Purple team so they can use the chaos of the initial clash to manouvere around and through the wormhole.
The wormhole itself is a ring of light against the blackness of space. A ring that is large enough for five ships in close formation to pass through at once.
They come out into a different galaxy. As long as they are quick and move away from the wormhole in good time they will not attract attention. Their SCA's show four points of investigation.
Planet One
This planet is relatively small and seems to be made mostly of volcanic rock. There are some active volcanoes but there is enough of the planet that is safe.
It seems devoid of any settlements, though there is evidence of mining. Probably a good place to make a base for the Red team to use for scouting.
Planet Two
This is much larger but seems to be a military base of operations rather than a planet where people live. There are plenty of warehouses and factories to sneak in and explore. Most of them seem to be building ships, or at least part of ships.
They are all guarded and Voidtreckers will have to act fast if spotted. Guards are equipped with blasters and are very much trained in shooting first and asking questions later.
Space Stations
There are two large space stations that have a lot of traffic, cargo ships, smaller fighter ships and even larger battleships come and go. Sneaking in will take some subterfuge and tactics.
If they get inside they will find guards everywhere. As long as they don't act suspiciously they should be able to move around the main common areas. There are barracks, mess halls, training halls. A large hanger for ships and huge storage areas for ship parts to be loaded onto cargo ships and taken away.

But he had already laid out a suggestion on how to proceed and it seemed the others were leaning towards implementing it. Which was good in his opinion and not because he was conceited but because he thought it a good way to spend their resources. Stealth required either small numbers or well trained groups that knew how to work together. Red Team wasn't really the quiet type from what he'd noticed so far. So splitting the team into smaller parts to fulfill specific goals would help him and keep the others out of too much danger. In theory.
The moment of silence passed as 47 lowered his meal to speak. "Then you would be best used in open combat. Your experience would be invaluable to the rest of the team if an all-out battle ensues. My suggestion would be to help the bulk of the team cause a heavy distraction."
no subject
"Open combat is my specialty. I'll take that suggestion to heart, and consider how the team members might create a distraction. Is that the plan, so far? As of this moment, I have only the information we were all given as to each team's assignment. If there has been further discussion amongst the leaders and members of Red Team, I will need to know what your current thinking is."
no subject
"It seems the most likely path most of Red Team will follow."
no subject
"Yes, the SCA information suggested that the Empire might have a mega-weapon of some sort, and I'd dearly love to know where it is and how to destroy or deactivate it. Your suggested plan for Red Team sounds like a good one, and I'd be happy to help with it. Besides, if you find the information you are seeking, you might still need yet another distraction, maybe a massive one, to allow for the chance to shut that super-weapon down."
no subject
"That is also a possibility if the weapon cannot be found on one of the space stations but the information of where it's located is easier found there. It's entirely probable the distraction team will need to hit and run multiple times to be effective."
no subject
"I'll hit those Empire soldiers so hard that they won't have any idea that those stealth-oriented Red Team members are filching the information from the space stations. And if the mega-weapon is located there or elsewhere, I'll do the same to allow others to get in and de-activate it."

It almost sounded like a quote. Saying it certainly brought memories to mind. 47 did his best to ignore them for now. Things like that got in the way. They weren't pertinent right now either.
They were a bother. If it wasn't for his goal, he'd almost rather not have regained them at all.
"Good. We'll use the distraction accordingly."
no subject
"Perfect! I'll go and take a look at any ships I haven't flown yet, and I'll scope out this planet, talk to other people. and think up some distraction scenarios."
