Orange Team Finale

The orange team have a good hold of things. The shields keep strong and the attacks aren't overwhelming. Hopefully they do not get complacent because on the afternoon of the sixth day there is a roar as ships come towards them.

A pulse is fired from one of the ships and the shields go down, systems plunging dark. They have enough time to scramble to ships, those who have been working on the shields can start getting them back online, before the battle commences.

(OOC: This is a play your own monsters scenario, feel free to make up dramatic errors for shields for the void treckers to fix. Enemy soldiers will mostly be in ships but if you feel like having any epic one on one battles go for it!)

Okay. Kaiba sees the enemy fire in his line of vision and can calculate where it's likely coming from, but he needs a better lock. Where...there?

There. He hits fast and hard, pulse thundering in his ears. There's so much riding on this. He won't fail. He can't. He's too good.

Right?

"Pressure them!"

Pressure them? That was... really unhelpful as an instruction. Danny takes a wild guess at what he meant, and pushes the ship into a tight curve back around towards the enemy.

Hopefully Kaito didn't get airsick easily because Danny piloted a lot like he flew. With lots of high speed aerial acrobatics.

"Hold on tight!" he calls over before slamming the speed on and taking the ship in close.

Okay, so he probably deserved that. Kaiba did look a little green, but he held it together long enough to take his shots. He knocked one out of the sky, two...but now he had their attention, and they were pointing their way.

"Agh---"

He fires, praying that his reflexes are faster.

"I've got this."

They have to. The others need them.

Now this was going to be a little tricky. Danny waits just long enough for Kaiba to take the shots, then slams the speed on and takes the ship above in a quick evasion.
