Memory Cave
After the passengers see a glimpse of a life that is not their own they appear in a cave. It is light, a strange moss glowing on the walls and ceiling illuminates the cave nicely and it is large enough for them to pace around in without trouble.
They are not alone. In the cave with them is another voidtrecker. Maybe someone they know well, maybe someone they have only seen in the aisles of the train. But they are together in this cave together.
The cave has no exit, at least not yet. They know that it will, eventually. When the time is right.
But for that time to come, they first must talk...
(OOC: For reference: memories!)

Zelda says, posture perfectly still,
"You had a vision just before arriving? As did I. If there's a purpose to be found in this affair, I would guess that it had something to do with that."

"Lake Hylia," she offers. "It's called Lake Hylia. The young man was in blue, with a long cap, and he was accompanied by a fairy."

Gerome gave her a keen look. "... You know this memory then?"
no subject
In the sense that they were larger and possessed both discernible features and a humanoid shape, anyway. No one who had seen one would ever believe it actually mortal.
She hesitates, but confirms it. "I know it. Would you be able to name a blue-haired young man attempting to apologize for an argument if I showed him to you?"
Maybe not the best question; as she asks it, the nagging familiarity of the youth in question feels increasingly insistent.
...Ah, that's it. He's on the train, isn't he?
no subject
Though he had not had an argument with him in quite some time.
"Inigo." He said, not needing her to point. "... Though the argument? Can you tell me what it was?"
no subject
"I can do better than that," she says after a moment. "With your permission?"
She holds out a hand to him, palm covered with a fingerless glove but fingers surprisingly calloused if he chooses to take it.
no subject
"Granted."

Then she opens her mind, and calls the memory to the forefront.
"Here you are, Gerome," Inigo's voice rings out, slightly distorted from having passed from one mind to another already. But all the same, the scene is clear and recognizable.
"That was what I saw," she says at the end. "Nothing more or less."

"... That was..." Personal? Could he really say that, could he get angry even though he suspected that he'd had someone elses memory implanted into his own mind.
"... That was... before we left for the Past. I refused to go. Inigo and I argued, and yet..." Gerome shook his head, still confused as to why the other man would do it. "He found me and claimed to have changed his mind. That he wouldn't leave me alone. How could I accept that knowing how much he felt he needed to go and save our world?" The words just tumbled out of Gerome's mouth without any thought behind them. Once he realised what he had said, however, his cheeks flamed. What had gotten into him?
no subject
"You couldn't," she agrees.
"It seems like you have quite the remarkable friend. Though it might be equally fair to say that so does he."
