Memory Cave

After the passengers see a glimpse of a life that is not their own they appear in a cave. It is light, a strange moss glowing on the walls and ceiling illuminates the cave nicely and it is large enough for them to pace around in without trouble.

They are not alone. In the cave with them is another voidtrecker. Maybe someone they know well, maybe someone they have only seen in the aisles of the train. But they are together in this cave together.

The cave has no exit, at least not yet. They know that it will, eventually. When the time is right.

But for that time to come, they first must talk...

After the memories ended, Peter's not too surprised to find himself and Ran back in that same cave they'd been trapped in before. He lets out a sigh and turns to face the wall so he can quickly sniffle and wipe his eyes. He's been over that moment in his head so many times but seeing it like that just reopened the wound.

He watched Ran's memory and it too was rough on him because wow does he really, really hate guns. He rubs his chin sucks in a breath wondering which bad memory they should discuss first. Both involved gun violence and Peter's sure that like him, this was a subject she'd rather just not talk about it.

He turns to face forward again and opens his mouth to say something but he's at a loss for words. What do you say to someone after seeing something like that? Asking questions about that kinda thing would just be upsetting and Peter's not really about that 'force people to talk about their traumas' life. He prefers to be a friend, to offer an ear or shoulder when needed but not to needle information out of people.

"So uh... we're back here again." He shrugs, his voice a little shaky.
