Memory Cave

[voidtreckermods]

After the passengers see a glimpse of a life that is not their own they appear in a cave. It is light, a strange moss glowing on the walls and ceiling illuminates the cave nicely and it is large enough for them to pace around in without trouble.

They are not alone. In the cave with them is another voidtrecker. Maybe someone they know well, maybe someone they have only seen in the aisles of the train. But they are together in this cave together.

The cave has no exit, at least not yet. They know that it will, eventually. When the time is right.

But for that time to come, they first must talk...

Probably not forever. There's probably some way out. Besides, we have to be able to get back to the train at some point.

Well... I can say that the first for me was probably not long after I arrived on the train. Is that the same for you? Maybe that's a recent event.

Yeah, it really wasn't that long from that memory before I actually found myself here. Nothing had been going on for once, so I was taking a moment from my duties to do paperwork and things that needed to be done.

I kind of hope the place didn't go to crap because my friend and I left.

So maybe that's a theme of the first one. Not long before arriving. At least between us, it seems fairly mundane.

[He didn't consider business work particularly exciting and not worthy. At least it hadn't been him sitting behind a desk with a giant stack of paper as was known to happen]

I hope not either. I think the Maguanacs and my sisters would be able to manage in place, but more of us our here and we just finished fighting a war.

I like to believe Bulla could take over and deal with things. But at the same time as much as she was capable she couldn't do that type of work all by herself.

[Considering it was protecting a whole city and all. But he soon turned his head slightly.]

I thought something happened there.

I understand completely. I probably take too much on myself that I shouldn't do the work I do by myself. At least that's what others tell me. I wouldn't really to inflict it upon my family.

[He blinked in surprise]

Something... with the cave?

That's what I get told too, to be fair. Can't do everything by myself and I do take their opinions to mind, but at the same time sometimes you just have to.

[He was soon back to focusing on the one in front.]

I thought I saw a door or at least something appeared anyway.

Yes, I understand completely. You have to do what needs to be done, even if it requires taking on too much.

Really? Shall we check it out and see if there is one?

Exactly. Even if it is rather dangerous.

[He nodded slightly as he went to take a better look around at the place they were in. Seems very basic, but he did in fact see something, or at least two somethings anyway.]

Do you think it's a way out and why two?

[It seemed like they both had the same issues in their life. Taking on a lot and dealing with it as it came.

Quatre followed him in that direction as well]

I guess it might be? Maybe one for each of us?

Maybe. This whole thing just seems odd though.

[Just in general, the purpose behind it the way it seems to work. This cave and the fact that until now there was no way out, but tnow there were two doors. What does it all mean?]

But at least we can go now. So that's great.

It does. It doesn't seem to be random if its the memories from the same person.

[He was curious about all of this and would probably spend more time thinking about this later]

[And he was going to start in the direction of the doors]
