Let it Snow: Blue Start
The moment the doors open for purple to jump the train is speaking again. “Blue team to doors. Void shift imminent. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one” The train lurches and shudders as the windows flash the colour of the void for a split second before it shakes again and they are back in that frozen tundra.
The doors open and blue can jump down into a large snowdrift. They are at the foot of an impressive mountain range. Snow swirls around them, the wind hows. Ahead of them, half obscured by snow is a tunnel entrance.
Even getting there is exhausting, wading through the snow. Inside there is no snow but it is cold. The walls and floor shine with ice and the way is treacherous. It is pitch black.
Their task is to find those hiding in the tunnels. Some have formed makeshift camps in large caverns, others have fled into the small tunnels and have gotten themselves lost.
The voidtreckers are lucky to at least have a map on their SCA though it does not show where anybody else it. It is time to start the task of rounding everyone up and making sure they can survive the storm.

Every so often, Marcus found himself moving slower than usual in this cold weather. Tech wasn't working as well as he thought out here.
"Yes, it's small but it should do."
Marcus turned and walked closer, moving the light on his plasma gun back and forth, trying to see who was collected in the darkness.
"Hey, anyone in there?"
no subject
"Hello?" Romeo peered into the darkness, "Can anybody hear us?"
no subject
"Come on, don't be afraid. We just want to get you out of here."
no subject
"Maybe they are further in. If I was really scared I'd go a long way in these tunnels!"
no subject
"Over here!"
no subject
Eventually he heard a sound, like a shout.
"Over there sir! I think I heard something!"
He ran towards the side tunnel.
no subject
"Who's there? Don't worry we are here to help!"
Marcus followed Romeo.
no subject
"Um... Sir." Romeo looked up at him and spoke quietly. "I don't think pointing a gun makes them think we are their friends!"
It must be very scary for them all.
"Hello! I'm Romeo, we came to help. This is my friend mister Marcus. He's a nice man really even if he looks a bit scary and he's here to help you too. He just has the gun in case we meet bad monsters but we've not seen any yet."
He held his hand out towards the crying child and smiled.

Marcus slips his gun away and nods "Anyone hurt? I can get those who are hurt to the train."
The more Marcus helped people, the more he felt guilty for what he did in his past. He offered to help the man who seem slumped "Come on. I'll help you to the train."
The people inside seemed as grateful but seemed as scared as those people back home trapped in the middle of the man vs machine war.

He was sure they would find somewhere!
"We can find a big cavern where we can all be together and then light some fire to keep warm. Does that sound like a good idea?" He asked the child, who grinned and smiled.

"That works. We can split up the work and everyone can help. He looked at some of the adults "Who'd like to accompany me to get some firewood while the others stay back and look after the kids?"
wrap on this as they are splitting?
"I'll look after them! We'll find somewhere safe to be!"
Some of the kids in question were definitely older than Romeo and after a moment they agreed and gave assurances that they would keep an eye on the younger ones.
Soon the group was ready to split. "I'll see you soon sir! Be careful!"
