The moment the doors open for purple to jump the train is speaking again. “Blue team to doors. Void shift imminent. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one” The train lurches and shudders as the windows flash the colour of the void for a split second before it shakes again and they are back in that frozen tundra.

The doors open and blue can jump down into a large snowdrift. They are at the foot of an impressive mountain range. Snow swirls around them, the wind hows. Ahead of them, half obscured by snow is a tunnel entrance.

Even getting there is exhausting, wading through the snow. Inside there is no snow but it is cold. The walls and floor shine with ice and the way is treacherous. It is pitch black.

Their task is to find those hiding in the tunnels. Some have formed makeshift camps in large caverns, others have fled into the small tunnels and have gotten themselves lost.

The voidtreckers are lucky to at least have a map on their SCA though it does not show where anybody else it. It is time to start the task of rounding everyone up and making sure they can survive the storm.

Naminé opened her eyes as a spark of white glimmering magic swirled around her palm like snow. She hadn't really been aware of those around her but she recognized Ignis's form as he took a stand at her side.

"You should go too. The snow-wolves will keep me safe and distract the ice monster." She looked back at Ignis and smiled the way she always did. "I am not alone."

She technically was alone but Naminé didn't want the illustrious blue team leader to get hurt because of her. There were a lot of people depending on him.

It was eerie with how much Namine' reminded him of Lady LunaFreya. There was that serene sort of look to her and a firm take charge sort of spine of steel. He shook his head, recalling thoughts of seeing the lady smile serenely even in death, even as her spirit took its leave of the body.

"No." Ignis shook his head. "I am not leaving you."

He couldn't abandon her, couldn't just let this slip of a girl be alone, regardless of how many furry friends she was..whatever her magic was doing with them. He was impressed and would ask later..maybe. But for now it was as Prompto always said 'Eyes peeled, mouth closed.'

Naminé exhaled as she turned to look at Ignis. The groups of wolves were attacking the ice golem without relenting now. Their teeth chipping away at sections of ice. The snow wolves weren't going to win but they were distracting the large creature with ease and allowing those around them to get pass without worry.

"We will have to leave soon. I can't stop it, only hold it off."

As the fight raged in front of them, there were more creatures rising out of the snow. Staying in one place for long wasn't a good idea.

Looking over at Namine, Ignis nodded. "Let me know when you're ready to go." In the meantime he was sticking to her side and keeping his green eyes alert for any trouble.

If he needed to pick them up and move them to safety Ignis could most certainly do just that. But he wouldn't run from a battle, nor would he engage in one without cause.

It took some time before the snow wolves began to fail in their attack.

Naminé was breathing heavily, her cheeks and nose pinked from the cold weather. She wasn't used to it and the fridge temperatures had seeped into her jacket and penetrated her slender form. "We should go." Her voice was soft and pained as another snow wolf was smashed into dust. The friendships she'd formed with them had been fake but she knew that she was the one leading those creatures to their deaths and Naminé felt its weight press against her heart.

"I can't hold it for much longer. It's too cold."

He couldn't believe what he was witnessing here, it was nothing short of astonishing. Whatever command this tiny slip of a girl had over these creatures to do Namine's will was awe inspiring and terrible to behold.

But when she said they should go, Ignis believed her. "If you're ready to release your hold then I will bring you to safety."

She inclined her head in a nod. It wasn't that she was going to release what she'd done to them but the wolves were about to return to clumps of snow. "We should go now." Her voice was soft as she turned away and began to wade through the blizzard towards the cave entrance.

It was slow going and cold but Naminé was determined to push through to the cave entrance without the golem of ice catching up to them.

When Namine said they were going, Ignis turned to watch the wolves turn to powder. For some reason she had looked pained at seeing them, but he would ask later maybe. Right now survival was of paramount importance and the advisor wasn't going to let her fall.

Green eyes would occasionally turn back to see if there was anyone or anything following them but so far so good so they kept their steady pace. And once in the caves, the advisor put a blanket over her and had Namine warm herself by the fire while he got reports from his team as to how the people were doing.

Naminé accepted the blanket with a pleased smile and took a seat by the fire. She wasn't used to the cold and hadn't realized how cold she was until she felt the insistent heat touch her skin.

For the first half hour she shivered as if her body was trying to expel the cold but she slowly warmed up and felt the feeling returning to her limbs. Her eyes followed Ignis for a bit but then she got herself lost in the fire. When she was warmer, she'd get up and keep trying to help.

Green eyes kept a watch over his team and Namine. He'd watched her shiver a bit and wondered if snow was new to her but he made some food and more hot chocolate, passing it onto her to help speed up the warming process.

When she was done and had gotten back up, Ignis nodded. "How are you feeling?"

Naminé smiled at the food and hot chocolate, eating what she could before cradling the drink protectively against her chest. "I'm alright. Just a little tired." Using her powers that much had taken a lot out of her. She'd never altered so many memories at once. It was usually in bits and pieces.

"A little cold." She admitted with a shy smile. "I'm not used to the snow. This is the first time I've seen it up close."

Hearing Namine's report, Ignis nodded. Magic usage usually tired a person out, it would surprise him if that wasn't the case. She had a certain kind of magic and one that wasn't ever seen by the advisor before. She even had seemed remorseful to a point so he wasn't about to bring it up.

With the snow comments he wasn't surprised somehow. "We certainly have more blankets and fire. You should rest and gather your strength." He wasn't trying to be unkind, quite the opposite really.

"I will. Is there something I can do next? That is, when I feel up to it." She was going to rest as requested but Naminé didn't have to rest forever. When she was feeling a little better she wanted a way to help, even if it was only passing out blankets or helping with organization.

Moving fought away the cold better anyway.
