Let it Snow: Blue Start

The moment the doors open for purple to jump the train is speaking again. “Blue team to doors. Void shift imminent. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one” The train lurches and shudders as the windows flash the colour of the void for a split second before it shakes again and they are back in that frozen tundra.

The doors open and blue can jump down into a large snowdrift. They are at the foot of an impressive mountain range. Snow swirls around them, the wind hows. Ahead of them, half obscured by snow is a tunnel entrance.

Even getting there is exhausting, wading through the snow. Inside there is no snow but it is cold. The walls and floor shine with ice and the way is treacherous. It is pitch black.

Their task is to find those hiding in the tunnels. Some have formed makeshift camps in large caverns, others have fled into the small tunnels and have gotten themselves lost.

The voidtreckers are lucky to at least have a map on their SCA though it does not show where anybody else it. It is time to start the task of rounding everyone up and making sure they can survive the storm.

She nodded. This girl was a little nervous, hopefully not to the point of liability, although that would... not make her unusual either.

"That friend will keep an eye on you?" Not that Ple Two wouldn't but she really needed to bug someone for an actual weapon of her own one of these days. Or steal one. Whatever works.

"Yes. His name is Terra." She smiled at the woman standing next to her. "I hope to keep an eye on him too." Naminés magical powers were odd but they were also very powerful, giving herself the ability to root into another's memories.

"I will try my best."

"Good." Ple Two would appreciate it if you stayed out of her memories. "...I've got people to keep an eye on too, and I can't watch everyone."

"You don't need to watch me." She smiled over at Ple Two. "And I'll try and watch out for you." Naminé didn't know if this woman had someone watching over her but if she was putting os much work into watching others then Naminé thought that she could return the gesture.

"If I actually need it." The offer was appreciated, at least a little. She was quite used to just watching out for herself - even heedless of allies - so perhaps she was still getting used to it.

Naminé inclined her head with a gentle nod of understand. This woman was very much like Riku in many ways. He was always trying his best and at times neglected looking after himself in the process.

"Good luck."

With that, the doors to the train are pulled open. It's nearly time to go.
