Let it Snow: Blue Start
The moment the doors open for purple to jump the train is speaking again. “Blue team to doors. Void shift imminent. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one” The train lurches and shudders as the windows flash the colour of the void for a split second before it shakes again and they are back in that frozen tundra.
The doors open and blue can jump down into a large snowdrift. They are at the foot of an impressive mountain range. Snow swirls around them, the wind hows. Ahead of them, half obscured by snow is a tunnel entrance.
Even getting there is exhausting, wading through the snow. Inside there is no snow but it is cold. The walls and floor shine with ice and the way is treacherous. It is pitch black.
Their task is to find those hiding in the tunnels. Some have formed makeshift camps in large caverns, others have fled into the small tunnels and have gotten themselves lost.
The voidtreckers are lucky to at least have a map on their SCA though it does not show where anybody else it. It is time to start the task of rounding everyone up and making sure they can survive the storm.

[Ground]--After a day or two.
Against a nearby wall, swirling portal of Raven's dark-energy appeared. It might not be easy to tell however given the darkness. Hopefully though, she is recognizable enough as she comes through the portal and drops to her knees.
"Ignis?"

When she dropped to her knees, he was at her side in a second. "I'm right here." The fire dagger moved to the side and he hit her with a restorative potion without a second thought. With the king's magic mixed in with his own, the potion should have her back on her feet within moments, but he stayed near her protectively regardless.
No one and nothing was going to hurt Raven, not while Ignis was on watch.

The healing helped, even if she's shaking her head. "Sorry for the surprise arrival. Wanted to check on you guys." And rest a bit, from the constant onslaught while still being useful. Hence, her checking on another team.

"You've no need to be sorry." Raven was always welcome wherever he was as far as Ignis was concerned honestly. "We're fine though I thank you for checking. I'll make a fire." If Tony could get those radios up and running, this wouldn't be an issue and the poor girl wouldn't have to drain her precious resources trying to be courteous and kind to check up on him and his team.
It didn't take long before he had a fire going. Looking over at Raven he shook his head. "If you need more blankets let me know. And when was the last time you ate?"

So he said nothing but was satisfied to see that she was eating. "We're doing alright down here. But I am going to speak to Tony after to see about radios." His eyes looked over at a certain member of his team as they passed by.
"How are the other teams holding up?"
no subject
"The snowstorm out there makes it all but impossible to fly safely for more than a short burst if you go higher than a single story. It's disorienting, so if any of you go outside--be warned." Radios would be amazingly convenient. "I'm surprised our SCAs don't have some kind of communication feature, honestly."

Shaking his head, the advisor really couldn't say he was happy in the tunnels, but right now they beat being outside with the snow furiously spinning out there. "I know they've been talking of it, but it really needs to become reality. Even our healing could possibly become more coordinated."
no subject
"They probably haven't had time or resources. Certainly half the train getting sick didn't help."
no subject
A small sigh came out. "I'm not sure that sickness won't be going back around with everyone being exposed to the cold as we all have been."
no subject
There was a pause, and she turned to try and meet his eyes. "Scratch that. First thing once you're sure everyone's safe and we're back is this. If Tony doesn't kidnap you, you and I are sitting and just breathing and trying to relax, over a nice cup of herbal tea."
no subject
"We should definitely look to have at least two healers on each team if that's indeed possible. Having one is too few." He poured himself more coffee and thought. "More healers should be helpful depending on the team's size of course."
This thoughtfulness turned to mirth. "He's not going to kidnap me. He has more than enough people to occupy his time." A nod. "Breathing and tea sounds like a splendid idea."
