Orange Team Finale
Four days of ice maze, four days of cold, four days of wandering lost, falling into traps and slowly getting closer to the centre of the labyrinth.
There is very little warning in the labyrinth, those nearer the outer walls may see the storm get more intense outside but their first real indication that something is wrong is when the world lurches.
Parts of the maze have moved before, passages opening and closing. But now the whole labyrinth moves, shaking and twisting, spinning in the sky, as if it were trying to shake those inside out. They may be able brace themselves, they may be thrown down passageways, into ice walls.
The whole place seems to get colder. An attempt to freeze them out. The shaking only lasts a few minutes, but it is intense.
But even this attempt at getting rid of them isn’t enough it seems, because those close enough will soon find themselves entering through the last gap in the ice. To the machine room itself. Indeed it might be that they were flung closer by the shaking itself.

He is flattened against a wall for a moment and then thrown against another. He looks around wildly, trying to locate all his teammates and see if they are all right.

Ugh, she has no idea how badly he's hurt, but he's a solid member of Orange and she'll be damned if she'll let any of her golden team points geese lose productivity from this stupid maze. She casts the fastest healing spell she knows, which is basically just good for surface injuries and exhaustion. Who knows what kind of internal organs elves have? She's not risking high magic that might turn him inside out.
She makes sure to cast it from out of the lines of sight of the rest of the team, because she's gotten this far without being roped into healer duty and she's not planning to start now. She's DPS, okay?!
Once the spell takes after a second or so, she drops her arm. Her? Cast a spell? No way.

He flexes his arms and smiles. "Thanks, Kumoko! I feel much better now." Can't fool an Elf.^^

She doesn't know what she'd do if her main team points earners got injured and couldn't-- uh, she means, she doesn't know... what she'd do... if her friend got hurt..? Yeah.
Hmm.
What did she do? Nothing, that's what. Don't tell anyone! She pats him on the shoulder with her second, non-bladed leg, and starts to scurry off.

"Thanks, Kumoko!" he calls softly as she scuttles away. "I owe you one!"

His heart stops as he looks at the unmoving form of his best friend. "Oi! Kudo!" He rushed over to the small boy and checked his pulse. Breathing a sigh of relief, he quickly went about checking for injuries but being very careful not to move him much. He didn't know if it was just his head or if he'd.. well, Hattori didn't want to even think about that.
"Conan!" He patted the kid's cheek, desperate for him to wake up.

He gave his friend a couple moments to adjust to the news before continuing. "I'm going to touch your hands and feet and you tell me if you can feel it." A concussion was a given, but Hattori was worried about Conan's spine too. That had been a really awkward landing. Once he gets approval, he touches the palms of Conan's hands and his fingers and then his ankles. "All good?"
no subject
"A concussion," he says without any doubt. He holds his head and neck carefully still as he realizes what Hattori was testing. "I can feel that."

CW: Broken bones
He's still conscious, but boy is he in a lot of pain. Attempting to stand up only gives him more of it, and looking down, his leg is bent at an uncomfortable angle that he can't see being able to walk on. At least none of those icicles have impaled him, but he's sustained a few bad gashes from the fall. Great, and right when they made some progress finding the machine. Talk about bad luck.
"Oi! Everyone alright?" Reigen yells out, hoping no one's gotten it worse. Especially none of the kids, he doubts someone like Conan would be able to walk this off.
Re: CW: Broken bones
"Sit down, I have some first aid supplies in my bag." He wasn't sure if they could or should move that leg much, but they could wrap it so it doesn't get worse.
Re: CW: Broken bones
"Well, not like I can do much besides sit down...you know how to re-set bones or something? You're a sports guy."
Just because Heiji might have dealt with sports injuries doesn't mean he can put your leg back in place, Reigen.

"I like sports, but I'm a detective first and foremost. We have to be a jack-of-all-trades." He set out some pieces of wood and some gauze. So he didn't exactly know how to push to get Reigen's bones pushed back in the right place, but he could gently push the obvious parts and then wrap his leg so he wouldn't move it much till they could get him to a healer. Also he could patch up the gashes. "Sorry, this is going to hurt," he warned before doing his best to tend to the leg.

She tried to move past the pain but couldn't get her eyes to focus no matter how many times she blinked.
This was not good.

By complaint she means the business side of her scythe arms.
And also an actual complaint.
Luckily, she's been so intent on mapping the labyrinth in the last week that she's been to most sections of it, and with the semi-transparent walls that means she suddenly turns into a blur of legs and spikes, opening small teleportation arrays around her stranded teammates and dropping them into the centre if they're too far away. Each one takes about twenty seconds to draw and aim.
Machine
There are screens, they are all password protected. There are complicated networks of wires. There is panelling that can be removed to reveal more complicated machinery and pipes underneath the console.
Professor Chill has not been kind enough to leave a manual, nor is there any obvious ‘off’ button. Good luck!
(OOC: For the most part tag amongst yourselves to figure out what to do. If your character is attempting an action on the machine please indicate so in the subject line with something like ‘attempt’ or ‘hey mod’ so that I know to come and reply!)

He walks gingerly into the room and goes straight to the console and stands looking at the screens. He tries the keyboards and gets no response.
And then he kneels down and looks at the paneling under the console. He feels the edges of one of the panels with his fingertips, grips it, and removes it. Seeing the piping and machinery below, he mutters, "What's all this, now?" to himself and to whomever has entered the machine room with him. He turns to whichever teammate is nearest him and smiles darkly. He unslings his rucksack and drops it on the floor, and then pulls out the smaller satchel of tools he has brought along. "Unless you've got a better idea or want to try hacking the system, I'm going to start disassembling the damned thing."
Attempt at hacking~
"Oooh, a computer. Fun times! Let me see what I can do - I've got some skill at hacking."
He considers the screens and touches one. "Hmmm. Needs a password. Don't suppose anyone's been dumb enough to leave a sticky pad somewhere with the actual passowrd? Or any other clues?"
And if Kaito doesn't succeed in hacking the damned thing, Curufn volunteers to WRECK IT.~
Then he has a thought. "Try ordinary words that relate to the purpose of the machine? Some people, even really intelligent people, are too lazy to think up real passwords and they resort to shortcuts. How about any of these: snow, ice, snowstorm, stormclouds, ice monster. . . words of that sort?"
Meantime, he goes to the wiring network and starts to trace the wires, where each comes from and where each goes.

Password:
A keyboard appears at the bottom of the screen. There is no sticky pad though or any kind of paper at all around the machine.
The wires go up to the screens, connecting screen to the console below. Most the wires disappear into the central tube, where they can assume it connects up to the ball at the top.
Kaito trying a passowrd! ... how many tries does he have lol

Trying again, and here the mun regrets that *Kaito* might be good at this, but she sucks
dw I don't expect you to be an actual hacker!
