Blue Team Onward!
Initial Guarding
Once the other teams fly off it is quiet once more at the military base. Blue team will be allowed to start patrolling, though there will be some areas such as the main command floor that are off limits. Any medically-inclined Void treckers will be welcome in the med bay and the guards will happily have some volunteers to do outside patrols.
But for the first day or so it is quiet, Hitrinto works as a liaison between the void treckers and the command staff, relaying messages and keeping them informed of the progress of battle.
Attack!
Late on the second day there is a break to the peace, alarms blare and lights flash red. "Enemy ships approach. Enemy ships approach."
Anyone who can get to the hanger quick enough will be given ships and sent off to fight. There aren't many enemy ships, four or five and hopefully they are beaten off easily.
But this becomes a semi regular occurrence. At least twice a day there are attacks. Patrols are stepped up, extra people are put on standby to man ships as quickly as possible.
Sabotage
Perhaps the attacks are a distraction. Because it is clear that something isn't right. Power goes down in one section or other. Equipment is messed with. Emergency doors are tampered with or left open. There aren't many people on this base but sometimes they will get the feeling of being watched. Of not being alone.
It soon becomes clear there are enemies inside the station and they are clearly biding their time. It is not known for what purpose. But finding them is probably a priority.

Samata wasn't one for patrolling. She had more important things to do. A single red flight suit in a crowd of blue could be found in the mess hall, where she had set up a book, a cup of tea (or the local equiavlent), and a round sheet of metal about the size of a dinner plate and covered in complicated designs etched into the surface.
It wasn't clear what she was doing, but every few minutes, the plate would glow red, orange, purple, or (rarely) blue, and Samata would suddenly stand up and look around as if she was somewhere else entirely, having conversations with people no one else could see. When she finished this, she would make a note in her notebook and pass on to everyone else in the area what people on the other teams were up to. She was her own command center, passing intelligence between teams.
-2: Sabotage-
After the first round of infiltrators made their mood, Samata took precautions. She hunted down potentially dangerous places for people to get (with the help of the locals, as she sure wasn't sure what was important in a place like this), and spent a few minutes etching MORE runes onto the floor, or walls. They were fairly discreet, but anyone who got too close to them because they were snooping around somewhere they shouldn't have been would activate the teleport trap and find themselves suddenly standing elsewhere.
Specifically, in the brig, where a matching rune had been applied. Only a fool attacks a wizard who has had time to prepare for them.
Sabotage-
There had been several waves of attackers so far, they'd managed to keep them at bay, but for how long?
That wasn't the worst of it though. Something was going on that Gladio couldn't put his finger on but he was on edge. He'd started patrolling the corridors, not sure what he intended to find, but when he found Samata doing something to one of the hulls he had to force down the initial suspicion in favour of calling out to the woman.
"What've you found?" He asked as he hefted up his great sword onto his shoulder and walked toward the woman. Gladio had been in the thick of it so far and now sported a few bandages on his left arm and his flight suit had seen better days. But he was still smiling as he approached, even if that smile was a tad confused.

She put a few finishing touches on her runes. "There. If any would be saboteurs try to open this, it will activate the rune and they'll have nothing left to do but cool their heels in jail. Hello again, Gladio."
no subject
"And hello again." The grin widened, no, that wasn't a flirty tone he had used. He was a professional! They were here to do a job. Plus there was Prompto! And yet...

"We're holding our own. But things would go a million times better if we could stop these bastards from causing havoc with the stations systems. I don't have the time to keep running around chasing shadows. So if you can help trap areas, then I'm on board with it." They just needed to let the rest of the team know. He could very easily imagine a certain blonde wondering what one of the glowing runes were and poking at it...
no subject
"Oh, I should probably contact the rest of the trekkers and let them know so they don't mess with them."

Though he had to admit, if only to himself, that he was tempted to touch one of the runes. Just to see what it did. Magic was something that fascinated him. And if what Samata said was true and these things could spirit someone off somewhere else, Gladio couldn't help wonder what that felt like.

She was silent for a moment as she gave Gladio a sidelong glance, before saying "You're thinking of trying it out, aren't you?"

Sabotage
The terminator made sure he watched certain areas.

The fourth time she actually made an attempt at conversation. "You never really stop walking, do you?"

Marcus gave a light shrug, still looking for suspicious people.

She implied the question, curious. What were they resisting?
