Orange Team Onward!
Arrival
Their flight path makes sure they are well out of the way of both the battles taking place and they get to the shield station within an hour as long as they fly quickly.
There are no enemy ships around but it is clear there has been an attack, the shield disk itself is damaged and there seems to be no power in the station.
Once they dock they will be met by some technicians who quickly explain the situation.
Help is needed everywhere. The power needs repaired, the shield needs repaired from the outside, there are injured technicians who need medical care. There is a small med-bay available.
Maintenance
Once the initial crisis is dealt with it is a case of keeping up with things. A patrol is needed to guard the station from other attacks, there are four shield stations in total and so the voidtreckers may chose to split themselves once things are a little calmer.
Keeping up the shields is an almost constant job, especially with the attacks. Once one thing is fixed it seems another thing is down. The maintenance itself is very technical but there are parts that can be done by the unskilled as long as they have direction.

One nerve-wracking flight over later, Eva is more than happy to be on station and not in hard vacuum.
"I don't want to do that again..." It's muttered and more a whine than anything as she takes a second or three to pull herself together before she's ready to knuckle down and do what's needed.
She's also looking to her team for guidance and sorely, sorely wishing for a magnemite at the least. "Just tell me what to do, and I'll do my best."
Maintenance
Eventually, she settles into a routine as a willing pair of hands. Princess is more useful than her, at least when it comes to judicious use of Telekinesis to hold things steady or in place for short periods so they can be repaired as needed. Of course the drawback is Princess is limited in how many times a day it can be used.
And ow stressed Eva ends up. But she's doing her best to keep it together and her best is keeping the clefairy calm. If her eyes are a bit more hollow, it's nothing. This is nothing. She's been through worse (no she hasn't). She's brave and she's got work to do, be it on this station or one of the other ones Orange are responsible for.
She can have the breakdown later. Right now, she needs to be a leader, be a Champion, be the pokemon trainer who's not afraid of anything.
That said, she can be heard muttering more than once about how this be easier if she had Lele on her. Because then at least the porygon could triage into what's Now!urgent and Can-wait!urgent. Maybe it would be; either way, she clearly wants her porygon, damnit.
Patrol
"Remind me not to tempt the fox!" Because piloting a ship is far, far harder than it looks and she really did ask 'how hard can it be?/ I think I'm getting better :D' right before she got in. But hey, at least it's a patrol and not a spaceship battle.
She, and her (latest?? unlucky??) flight partner have this. Right?
Right...?
Patrol
"Also this is totally different to the video games on the train, I call foul!"
no subject
Lies, but if she's going to keep them calm so they make it through this patrol, she's going to grab hold of anything she can.

He fires and curses.
"Don't play the escape room it sucks!"
no subject
At least talking and flying is something she can do without to much trouble.
"Too easy? Or too hard?"
no subject
"Sounds like our stories of Kyubi - 's a nine-tailed fox in folklore. Think the Koreans call theirs Kumiho. But Kyubi isn't malicious as such, just... chaotic neutral? Like, it MIGHT eat you. Or it might just play tricks on you. But Kumiho eats people."
He fire again, trying to be a bit more accurate.
"I'd say too easy, but only in the sense that everything is set up to be Really Clever but then it's actually really blatant. So if you think about it too hard, you're gonna miss the right answer. Some parts are okay. But it's ... not great, if you're used to actual murders. The Detective kept getting so frustrated"
no subject
"Oh, kyūkon's'll do that too, though it's mostly wild ones, but sometimes you get a person who thinks they can tempt fate and well. It's a good way to muck out the stupider people, at least."
Pokemon world morality at it's finest right here, right now. More so given what she next says.
"That's- Conan-kun, right? He might want to ask the Train if it can provide more challenging simulations."
no subject
"People will be people." He says sagely. "'s why the Darwin Awards exist. Do you have those in your world?"
"Yep." He fires again, starting to get the rhytm of it.
"He might, at this rate! There's only so many games of poker we can keep playing..."
no subject
"I don't think so. I know we have the Orokana Award given out every year though. Maybe that's similar?"
She laughs. "There's more cardgames than just poker, you know."

And she doesn't have any elixir's on her to recharge the PP. Something she'll have to work on if-when- they get back.

"This section here," she says, pointing at what looks like a control panel of some sort. "I don't know what it is, but it's not in good shape, and I don't know if it's all from the attack or..."
Or it's been left unmaintained. While she honestly hopes it's just from the attack, she's realistic enough to know it's probably not. "Either way, we need to fix it."
no subject
A wave of her hand had the pieces shaking free and hovering in the air before she arranged them neatly to begin working. There were a few false starts as she followed the instructions for the repairs but she quickly got into a rhythm and it was like the parts were trying to tell her where they went.
After what seemed to be almost no time at all the panel was complete and functioning once more.
"Done."
no subject
"Gods and myths. At least this looks like the last...?"
She hopes. She really, really hopes. She wants a break.
no subject
"It looks like we'll get a bit of a break while the others finish up. I have water if you need it?" She'd been keeping her energy up through other means, and didn't need it at the moment.
no subject
"So. Are you a psychic, magic, or something else?"

Patrol
"Oh, I don't know," he says, chuckling. "If there's a fox available to be tempted, why not tempt it?" He never gets tired of joking in serious situations.
no subject
Never mind she has a ninetales, but that's different.
no subject
He casts another glance over the aircraft choices.
"Are you wondering if getting into one of these ships means you're tempting the Fate-fox?"
no subject
Right now, they have other things to focus on, like the mission.
"Yeah, but a leader's not worth her -their- belts if they're not willing to muck in with everyone else. So... Let's give this a try, shall we?"
no subject
"I have to agree with you about leadership. That's how I've always felt. Yes! Let's give this a try." He looks over the patrol craft and then points at one. "This one, do you think? Let's tempt the fox!"
no subject
There's a flash of a grin and then a nod as she squares her shoulders. "Let's do this."
And she's scrambling up and towards the pilot seat. "Let's show them what we VoidTreckers can do."
no subject
He scrambles after her and follows her into the cockpit. "Yes, let's show them! Want me to copilot?"
no subject
She knows she couldn't. Not if things get dicey, though she's hoping for a quiet patrol.
"I want to float an idea, too. For the team."
