Orange Team Onward!
Arrival
Their flight path makes sure they are well out of the way of both the battles taking place and they get to the shield station within an hour as long as they fly quickly.
There are no enemy ships around but it is clear there has been an attack, the shield disk itself is damaged and there seems to be no power in the station.
Once they dock they will be met by some technicians who quickly explain the situation.
Help is needed everywhere. The power needs repaired, the shield needs repaired from the outside, there are injured technicians who need medical care. There is a small med-bay available.
Maintenance
Once the initial crisis is dealt with it is a case of keeping up with things. A patrol is needed to guard the station from other attacks, there are four shield stations in total and so the voidtreckers may chose to split themselves once things are a little calmer.
Keeping up the shields is an almost constant job, especially with the attacks. Once one thing is fixed it seems another thing is down. The maintenance itself is very technical but there are parts that can be done by the unskilled as long as they have direction.

Repairing the Shield
"I can do the outside repairs, if someone can walk me through what to do."
He wouldn't call himself an expert, but growing up helping his parents in the lab had taught him to know his way around a toolbox. And if there needed to be someone doing the work outside, he figured he could handle it.

infirmary
[Ultimately, Waver could be found in and around the medbay; taking stock of supplies and arranging them in a sort of organized chaos, occasionally picking up a bottle or some other medicine and focusing on it with a very faint glow of light. Occasionally he seemed almost content with the results, but usually his response was a quiet disappointment. In more pressing situations, he'd be with anyone injured--a hand held over their wound to start pulling it back together with a flickering and faint glow of magic. Once whoever he was working on had healed enough to repair the worst of the immediate damage, he'd switch gears to focus on mundane first aid; bandages, splints, whatever else was called for.]

Dyme wasn't a soldier, and he wasn't a technician. If it couldn't be solved by punching it a few times, he was out of his element. He could, however, handle patching up some of the actual technicians on site. He didn't mind a little blood, and he knew his way around basic things like bandages and getting a wound to stop bleeding with enough pressure.
It didn't stop his hands from shaking in between though, and when he stepped away he took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "You know, when people talked about missions to help people, I imagined something a little less stressful," he said.
b. Maintenance
He still wasn't a technician, but he could follow direction pretty well and be an extra pair of hands for someone. So long as they didn't mind dumbing things down for him or taking it a little slow.

One nerve-wracking flight over later, Eva is more than happy to be on station and not in hard vacuum.
"I don't want to do that again..." It's muttered and more a whine than anything as she takes a second or three to pull herself together before she's ready to knuckle down and do what's needed.
She's also looking to her team for guidance and sorely, sorely wishing for a magnemite at the least. "Just tell me what to do, and I'll do my best."
Maintenance
Eventually, she settles into a routine as a willing pair of hands. Princess is more useful than her, at least when it comes to judicious use of Telekinesis to hold things steady or in place for short periods so they can be repaired as needed. Of course the drawback is Princess is limited in how many times a day it can be used.
And ow stressed Eva ends up. But she's doing her best to keep it together and her best is keeping the clefairy calm. If her eyes are a bit more hollow, it's nothing. This is nothing. She's been through worse (no she hasn't). She's brave and she's got work to do, be it on this station or one of the other ones Orange are responsible for.
She can have the breakdown later. Right now, she needs to be a leader, be a Champion, be the pokemon trainer who's not afraid of anything.
That said, she can be heard muttering more than once about how this be easier if she had Lele on her. Because then at least the porygon could triage into what's Now!urgent and Can-wait!urgent. Maybe it would be; either way, she clearly wants her porygon, damnit.
Patrol
"Remind me not to tempt the fox!" Because piloting a ship is far, far harder than it looks and she really did ask 'how hard can it be?/ I think I'm getting better :D' right before she got in. But hey, at least it's a patrol and not a spaceship battle.
She, and her (latest?? unlucky??) flight partner have this. Right?
Right...?

Whoever was in need of healing she would walk over, lightly place her hair around the area or on top, either way, seemed to work and soon she started to sing.]
Flower, gleam and glow,
Let your power shine,
Make the clock reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.
Heal what has been hurt,
Change the fates' design,
Save what has been lost,
Bring back what once was mine.
What once was mine.
[As she sang her hair started to glow from the roots, slowly all the way down to the tip and to where the hair had been placed. The moment she had finished however and she removed any sign of an injury was now non-existtent. Like it had never happened.
Rapunzel herself seemed happy enough to smile.]
There we go, as good as new. Now I must move onto the next one, but I am glad to have helped.
[And as she said she started to move onto the next and started to prepare to do ti all over again.]

Loki was a quick study when it came to flying the ships and this was no exception. He was glad for the opportunity to provide a shuttle from the train depot to the shield station for no other reason than acclimating himself to the controls of the vessel. It was small, could carry a small group of people if it needed, and included a weapons array should they need it. They did not, not on their initial trip anyway.
"If anyone needs any pointers, I've nothing better to do." The broadcast was local as he made his way down, assuring only the VoidTrecker pilots would hear it.
Station
Once aboard, there doesn't seem to be much to do, aside from taking up the position of authority. If someone is needed in the med-bay, he finds someone to direct there. Shields seem to be failing, a direction there as well. Loki is a natural leader, after all, and calm in a crisis. If anyone seems to be having a tough time of it, he places a steadying hand on their shoulder, offers it a squeeze.
"Chin up. It could be worse, you know," accompanied by a charming and confident smile. "What can you handle?"
A Request for Aid
"If you've got a minute, we could use some presto-chango over here." Stark's communication had come as a surprise, but he'd recovered quickly.
"Are you asking for my help, Stark?" His tone was amused, languid, and seemingly unconcerned.
"Yeah, Reindeer Games. We could use a hand." Missing the reference entirely, Loki'd been beyond amused.
"Hmm," he'd responded, non-committal. "You seem to have mistaken me for a hero."
And yet, the transmission wore on him. Even in the face of all his opposition, Stark and the Avengers had fought with honor and courage, and they meant something rather deep to his brother. You'll always be the God of Mischief, but you could be more. Damn.
His ship was housed where they'd left it in the docking bay. The quarters were cramped, but they could only spare a small team either way. If Stark wanted his heroes, he'd have them. Maybe one day they'd be enemies again, but this wasn't even their war. He was a Prince of Asgard, a nation in name only now, but with a legacy of protecting all the Realms from foes within and without.
He activated the local radio to make a broadcast in search of volunteers. "Attention Orange. Red's just informed me they're in dire need of proper organization. It would be remiss for us not to respond. The bulk need remain here, lest the station is lost. Those not otherwise indisposed, meet me in the docking bay in five minutes. Evidently the heroes need saving."

It doesn't taken him long to get used to how the soldiers tell him to do repairs and then he's starting to think-if he adds a little more power here-ramps up the shield here-there seems to be more concentrated power in this specific area.
He's got his notebook out again-a mess of wires and tools strung about as he runs calculations.
"I think we can increase the shield density in this section since this is main part taking fire if we decrease a little on the back side..." He says thoughtfully. "And if I wire this differently-I should be able to get remote control over some of the outers guns. Lasers. Whatever you call it in space."

cw: mild arachnid descriptions and mild fighting
By the time he arrived most people had found their niche to work whether it was helping to repair the damages or fend off whatever was left of the enemy forces or aid the medical practitioners tend to the wounded. Garrett was good with absolutely none of that. The most he could do would be ferry equipment or unconscious people around. At best with the high tech equipment he could use his (very much returned and wasn't that interesting to realize) Focus ability to point out broken wiring or mechanisms that needed fixing behind walls.
After stashing his procured items away somewhere safe and secret, Garrett decided that helping for a bit couldn't hurt. As he ferried electrical equipment around for various technicians the master thief looked around with his Focus ability 'turned on' so to speak. He used it sparingly since he didn't have any way to re-energize himself without simply waiting or sleeping. But he started to point out hidden breaks in the equipment to technicians and they eventually began to catch onto his odd sense for finding trouble spots.
It was odd to have people come up to him and ask for him to help them with a legitimate problem. It was almost kind of nice.
II. "Maintenance"
That's because instead of helping with the obvious, Garrett was in search of more items to pilfer. And this time he was using the chaos to help shield him from being caught (pun very much intended). He stuck to the shadows and found items discarded, abandoned, or forgotten in the mess of things and kept them for himself. He even took some broken pieces. They may have been useless for their intended purposes but the Voidtreckers could always re-purpose them back on the train for whatever they wanted. For every three items that were still useful to the people here he found abandoned he tended to return only two and keep the third for his stash. That way he could help out and keep some fancy equipment for himself and the train passengers.
III. Attacked
Likewise, he was no slouch up close either. If an enemy got too close the sneak thief dodged with expertise and used his big scorpion tail to knock his attackers unconscious. It seemed he had some experience in this as well.
His team might have noticed he was eager to search the bodies left behind, too. Usually he was discreet about it but there was a lot going on and someone with quick perception might wonder where his hands ended up while they were moving bodies out of the way after a skirmish.

[She’s stopped at the station entrance. It shouldn’t surprise anyone, she’s kind of a walking testament to the fact that human innovation needs to be stopped sometimes. But whether it’s well-deserved or not, the guards are very uncertain about not shooting her with their blasters, let alone letting her into the shield-station where their important command controls are.]
I don’t know, you don’t look- [one of the lizard guards grunts.] Not sure you should be going in there.
[SXT-2’s immediate reaction is a c̶̩̲̺͜h̲̩͈͓͉̙͙̕eÌ™e̞̗̦̜̥͓̮͞pÍžÍ Ì²Ì ÍŽÍ™Í™Ì™Ì»Í– of unhappiness, the feathered growths on her head and back bristling, which causes the two guards blocking her way to brandish their blasters more aggressively.]
I am functional. I am fine, [she says after the initial outburst, reclaiming her self-control unnaturally quickly- one synthetic hand reaches behind her and grabs the first handful of feathers she touches, pinioning the appendage with unfeeling force.]
No, no, you stay there, [the guard insists, audibly unnerved now. It’s as direct an instruction as any. SXT-2 stands there in silence.]
B. Inside the station
[Eventually she’s let in. Um, I hope that happens.
The command room is intimidating in all its complexity; but not to her. SXT-2 pauses to check the map she downloaded from the planetside network, then heads straight to the central terminal. Her base model is a general-purpose one; while she’s lost out on specialised functions, she makes up for it by being compatible with lots and lots of things. As she locates the terminal’s input plug and connects herself in her feathers give one last incredible shudder, before they lie statue-still- still as the rest of her, her face trained on the screens heedless of what happens in the background-
-three terminals that were previously dark flicker on. One screen stutters and goes dark again, but a light continues blinking on the other two as they struggle to restart.]
There’s no response from Terminal 5. The problem is likely hardware failure- possibly the cables for power, or the motherboard itself, [the natives around her stare in awe as she drums her fingers against the console, as if typing at an imaginary keyboard, and static bursts through one of the speakers at the far end of the room. ] I’ve rerouted your communications to the speakers on Terminal 9, the original comms terminal speakers aren’t working for some reason- but the software is still up. You have unread messages. Is there anything specific you want to check?

Curufin is a little disappointed that they don't get to fight before they reach the station. He's familiarized himself with the weapons systems of the dual fighter he came in on, and he knows he'll have to make use of them sooner or later. But for now, as soon as they dock, he goes straight to the station technicians and offers to be of use. They escort him to the power generator and try to catch him up to speed on how it works and what they need him to do. He also offers to get into a space suit and go outside with the technicians to work on the damaged shield disk.
If anybody from Orange Team is going along on either of these projects, he'll grin and make jokes on the way. "How many VoidTreckers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" he asks, reviving an ancient riddle that he's always found amusing.
Maintenance
Curufin helps with several of the maintenance tasks and then begins to get stir crazy. So he volunteers for the guardian gig. He hops into the dual fighter craft with a partner and goes out to patrol the space around the station. As they clear the station dock and zoom out into space, he whistles softly. "This is quite a view. Very different from the way things look from the windows of the train!"

Ianto OTA
Ianto had survived his first space flight so he set about doing what he was good at, which was basically everything you didn't have to shoot or stab so he went around making sure the injured had everything they needed to make sure they were comfortable. Ianto brought one book of Welsh stories should anyone need to relax.
Maintenance
Ianto may not be a mechanic, but he was good at following directions. He was doing his very best to help where he could. He could be heard softly muttering to himself in Welsh.
