Memory Cave
After the passengers see a glimpse of a life that is not their own they appear in a cave. It is light, a strange moss glowing on the walls and ceiling illuminates the cave nicely and it is large enough for them to pace around in without trouble.
They are not alone. In the cave with them is another voidtrecker. Maybe someone they know well, maybe someone they have only seen in the aisles of the train. But they are together in this cave together.
The cave has no exit, at least not yet. They know that it will, eventually. When the time is right.
But for that time to come, they first must talk...
(OOC: For reference: memories!)

[If she'd really seen his memories, like she was suspecting, then there was a chance that he'd seen hers. That could be a problem if true, so it was important to figure out what exactly was going on here.]
"Right before coming here, I saw a high school classroom. People were talking about ideas for a festival, and someone - I think it was you, based on the voice - suggested carnival games. That's the idea they went with. Before that, while we were still on the train, I had a vision of someone, probably you again, seeing a friend off at the airport. You were happy for her.
Anyways, what about you? What did you see?"
no subject
[He nodded slightly, he was sure those were probably his memories. Bit too much of a coincidence after all and Yugi being himself was more than a little happy to explain them.]
You were correct about the suggestion of carnival games being from me. I remember how happy I was when my idea got picked because I honestly didn't think it would be. The first one I was happy because I was seeing Anzu a friend of mine off as she went to America to study dance which as a dream of hers. [And he smiled just saying that honestly, but he knew it was his turnh and at least it was just the two of them.]
The first one I got... I admit I don't understand it, but I think you were talking to someone on the phone about a medicine and the person over the phone mentioning about returning to the original form and failure is not an option. [He couldn't make sens of what it meant exactly.]
The recent one was you watching television with someone teaching you something, but also seemed to be speaking to you.

And then she found out what memories Yugi had seen.
The panic was visible on her face as she realized what the first memory was and scrambled to come up with an explanation for it that wouldn't reveal more info. Thankfully the second one wasn't anywhere near as bad, but the priority now was to try and preserve the secret.]
"...The first one is personal. I can't say much about that. I can't be sure exactly when the second one was, but when I was younger my older brother would send me tapes to help teach me Jeet Kune Do, my martial art. He was busy with work and couldn't be around, so the tapes were the best he could do."
[She was going into a bit more detail than needed on the second memory in an attempt to avoid talking about the first or having to give any context about what was going on.]
no subject
I assume the person was your brother then because what you said makes sense. Though I assume we are missing something because there doesn't seem to be a way out? [he paused to think it over again.]
Do you think we are meant to talk about what we saw in more detail? Maybe talk about something in them we might not like... Which I get is hard especially with painful memories... But can't hurt to give it a try, right?

[Masumi went quiet after that, struggling to find a way to avoid having to talk about her first memory. As much as she didn’t want to think about it, it made sense that they would have to talk about the memories to get out of the cave, but that would mean letting someone in on the secret.]
“...Are you sure? That memory was supposed to be secret.” [And in there was the unstated question if he could keep the secret if told. Even here, even if she was away from her own world, she couldn’t let word get out.]
no subject
[It wouldn't any way at least in his mind and he also understood that some memories no matter how long they are still can hurt sometimes.]
DCMK Spoilers in post
[It took a moment for her to figure out how to explain the memory, and when she did manage to start speaking she was quiet, clearly hesitant to be saying any of this.]
"Someone, I don't know who, poisoned my mom in an attempt to kill her. She lived, but the poison made her shrink into the body of a middle schooler. I've been helping her stay hidden and was trying to find an antidote for her so that she can reverse the effects.
In the memory you saw, I was calling her because I found out that there was definitely an antidote. She wanted me to get it so that she could return to normal and track down the attacker."
[She went silent after explaining the memory, unhappy with having to spill the secret. But only for a moment, since she still had things to say.]
"I know whoever tried to kill her probably isn't on the train and I'm away from my world, but I didn't want to risk it getting out."
no subject
[Hee also understood that you honestly never know if there is going to be people from you world coming here either. So he really did understand wanting to keep it a secret.]
We don't know when people from our world might come here as well. It's a shame you didn't get the antidote before you came here though... I assume that you didn't manage it.
no subject
[She hadn't talked to any of them yet. She's working on that, though.]
"...No, I didn't actually get it for her. I got pulled to the train platform right after that call, so I never got the chance to actually get it for her."
[It's a sore point for her, knowing that she'd finally found proof of an antidote and was able to tell her mom it existed, only to wind up being yanked from her world before she could do anything.]
no subject
But if the train does take you back you'll at least then get the chance.
Maybe open their doors soon?
[There wasn't much else to say on either of her memories, so Masumi just stayed silent for a few seconds before speaking again.]
"...You aren't hiding anything from what I saw, are you?" [She didn't think so, but she wanted to make sure there was nothing being hidden if talking was going to help here.]
Good idea
I have no reason to really lie.
[What was there he could have lied about was a thought that went in his head at least, but soon he was looking around before spotting something.]
Can I ask if they were there before?
no subject
"No, I don't think those were there before. If they were, I wouldn't have said anything about my memories."
[It was true, she would have just given a minimum of info then left to preserve the secret rather than give up everything she knew if the way out had been there all along.]
"...I guess that means we talked enough, if those are our ways out."
no subject
[he might not have said anything either, though then again his weren't as personal as the others in a way. Something you wouldn't want others to know about.]
Seems so. At least we have to hope we haven't worried anyone by going missing suddenly as well.
no subject
[Masumi goes to leave, then pauses and turns to face Yugi again.]
“Thanks for promising to keep my memories secret. The last thing I need is word spreading, even if we’re not at home right now.”
[The key being right now. People could still go home, and who knew who could show up on the train next.]
