"Good Morning, Voidtreckers. Today is day 21 of the month of Nebula."

The voice echoes through the train as passengers wake up in their beds. It is as normal of a day as any, as people make their way to the dining car, to the kitchen, while others head to the showers. For most of the day, everything is normal. Friends meet, the training gym is put to use; an art class is in session. Lunchtime comes and goes.

...and then by 3PM, everyone's SCA glows with the colours of the void, and a holographic image appears.

As strange as it seems, it's time for a mission.

EVENT BASICS:


Day One
~ They arrive into a hanger, after some searching they will find a device that allows them to register their SCA's to enter the main station.
~ There are two main directions. North (purple and red) and West (orange and blue).
~ They will find the door to the next section but be unable to get further yet.
~ After exploring they will be found by security bots and then invisible monsters. After the chaos calms down many of the voidtreckers will find themselves trapped in sleeping/living quarters for the next five hours.
~ Jake, Ansem, Inigo, Danny, Kitty and one of the Lan Wangji's dissappear.

Day Two
~ Once the lockdown is over they will be able to explore more eventually gaining access to more staff areas. In these staff spaces their powers will work though they will not be able to escape the station and any life or energy sensing powers will not give any answers.
~ In the staff areas they are more likely to find invisible monsters, but less likely to run into the bots.
~ The surroundings are a lot less stable here- rusty bridges, exposed wires etc. There are less places to hide and the choice is powers here or a slightly safer time back in the first area.
~ Tidus Masumi Sera, Ken Amada, Rich, Essek and Xehanort vanish during day 2.

Day Three
~ Demyx, Elidibus, Freeza, Zelda, Lan Jingyi and Zagraeus vanish during day 3.
~ It becomes more obvious that there doesn't seem to be anyone to rescue here, just the invisible monsters and weird bots.
~ Those that are still searching and investigating will come across the Engine control rooms These however seem to be a set of puzzle rooms, rather than a true engine...
~ OOC note: You can decide whether your character can get through to the engine rooms and how successful they will be. This is a separate thing to the trick or treat.
~ Those that succeed in solving the engine room will find themselves in a large empty hangar bay with no doors for the final night...

DAY ONE

arrival. THEY EXIT OUT OF THE TRAIN INTO DARKNESS, THE SLOW PULSE OF RED EMERGENCY LIGHTS TOO DIM TO MAKE ANYTHING OUT. The quiet hum of energy under metal flooring is the only sound that greets them. Putting on the SCA flashlights will help to see better the farther corners, a mostly empty docking hangar. A single craft sits to the side, locked. There are three doors, LED lighting making them stand out, two with press panels to open them.

› Trying to access the two larger doors will lead to a buzzing, and reading on the panel: SCA UNKNOWN. PLEASE REGISTER YOUR SCA. APPROVED PERSONNEL ONLY.

› The third and smaller door, however, is accessible. It leads into an office with a few lockers and small washroom at the back, and a messy desk of small square devices that sit in labelled trays inside. A computer is also here, requiring a USER ID and PASS to be accessed.

› Luckily, Lan Jingyi and Idia will find searching around a screen and handle device, which sci-fi fans or tech-savvy people will assume correctly as a scanner. This is the SCA registering device they need. Everyone will need to log in with a quick scan and approving beep, registering them as VISITOR. Thankfully, two more spares can be found, and the front doors will finally open further into the station.

› Doing this will be the only way in - by now, many may have noticed their powers don't work. Superstrength, magic, ki - no one will be able to pull off more than the strength of an average human, unless they're built stronger.

normal. MOVING FORWARD, THERE ARE TWO DIRECTIONS VOIDTRECKERS CAN GO. Though their SCA doesn't show a complete map it does show a recommended route. Both lead into waiting halls, submerged in the same dimly lit red light. Their footsteps echo; there's a front desk, visitor lavatories, and inaccessible staff rooms that make their SCAs beep with too many door handle waggles. STAFF ONLY appears from their devices.

However, the other doors work fine. As the voidtreckers explore in both sections, they will find them similar, if different in layout.

› The north route - where Purple and Reds are led - leads to a series of meeting rooms along corridors, with different layouts. The west route - Orange and Blue's way - leads into classrooms, with desks and wash basins, most with holographic projectors in place that shows the different presentations on both sides being held. There's signs of use in most of the rooms, of personal belongings and drink bottles left behind. In some, people may knock over props; a cardboard cut-out of a company mascot, or in a classroom, an innocous large board - which when walked in front of, trips a splat gun, covering the poor person in illuminous paint.

› On both sides, the Voidtreckers will find their first proper hurdle with enough navigating: the next larger doors leading to SECTION 2 will be locked, a keypad beside it. Trying their SCA's current access level to it will lead to be a beep.

DENIED. LVL 2 ACCESS REQUIRED.
› Attempting to use the SCA scanner will ask for a pin. Voidtreckers will be forced to search and investigate: back to the front desk, through the abandoned meeting and classrooms. As they search in the dim red lighting, the near silence, they don't always feel so alone. A door will randomly slide open; the lights flicker; a cheery tune comes from a forgotten cellphone, when they're deep in investigation. The sound of footsteps may be heard outside, or even directly behind someone.

But there's no one there.

too quiet. IT TAKES AN HOUR OR SO, BUT FINALLY, THE VOIDTRECKERS REACH DEEPER IN. The doors lead them into a corridor that promise to connect the two groups, and the walls they face as entering shows a map that outlines the corridor they're in. However, before they can think to meet or get very far, a beeping greets people at their feet from the dark - small spider-bots, just above ankle height. They skid along the ground, and beeping in what's morse code, a holographic message appears above to share the same message:

WARNING, WARNING. THIS STATION IS IN EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN. UNKNOWN ENTITIES PRESENT. PLEASE TAKE SHELTER.
They may give some people a scare, but they don't do anything more than to shine a light towards the closer doors. There then comes a sound heard at the farther ends of the corridors. People will feel a vibration from their SCAs, then a beeping. Those wearing their synced earpieces will hear the beeping clearer, and whatever that sound belonged to is coming - and fast.

› Chaos ensues. The spider-bots repeat, TAKE SHELTER, TAKE SHELTER, as they skid down the halls - if they're not attacked by Voidtreckers. The Voidtreckers will need to think fast, but some may not come to the right answers. Fortunately, some take refuge in the rooms as directed, or head back in through the way they came. Or they might try and fight, against invisible entities that fight fast and ruthlessly. For those who do fight they will learn that the blasts are meant to stun, to knock down and even knock out. But they won't take any lasting damage from them.

› For those that do manage to get to shelter they will here banging from the doors, thudding hard against them. For whatever reason, they won't open to what's outside in the hall. A silence eventually settles.. except amongst the Voidtreckers. Separated, they will have questions over the SCAs. Counting heads, figuring what happened. Who saw what? Who's where? No one saw anything.

And they will figure in time that Jake, Ansem, Inigo, Danny, Kitty and one of the Lan Wangji's aren't answering their SCAs.

› Access to the Sector 2 corridor will be denied. Attempting to open any of the doors will bring up a message from their SCAs. SECTOR 2 HALL BREACHED. LOCKDOWN FOR FIVE HOURS. Even if they wanted to leave the rooms they entered, they can't. They're stuck, with whoever's with them, for five hours.

› With nowhere else to go, the Voidtreckers will be able to investigate the areas they've gotten locked into. There's lounges, sleeping quarters, and kitchen available to end up in, other than the previous hall. The rooms are only lit by their doors, and by what appears to be ICPs set in the walls, one by each door. However, all that seems to be working are sending messages to different rooms within the residential sector.

DAY TWO

access. AFTER FIVE HOURS, THE PANELS BY THE DOORS FLASH FROM RED TO GREEN, AND WITH THIS, THE VOIDTRECKERS CAN LEAVE THEIR ROOMS. Out in the residential hall, no one is present, but there are pieces of SCAs trashed beyond repair. The spider-bots are in the same state, tossed and forgotten.

› Now is a good time to explore, but Voidtreckers will need to be careful. Too much noise will make the Unknown Entities appear, and they are especially attracted by groups larger than three or four people. They cannot enter most rooms, but they lurk the halls - and one is sure to be patrolling when Voidtreckers initially leave the rooms they've been stuck in.

› The spider-bots continue to patrol the halls, and will scan anyone they find. They approve of anyone with a staff level access, but get noisy and lead anyone else into rooms to hide.

› Voidtreckers will learn they need to practice patience as they investigate. This work is a matter of tedium, but also of being aware of one's surroundings, and searching through the darkness. There is a computer library and gaming room, which create labyrinths of tables and machines, and in these two rooms, Voidtreckers will hear a hissing, the noise of something moving around other than themselves, a beeping from their SCAs. A dining hall is completely trashed, tables toppled over and cracks in the walls where hard contact has been made. However, no bodies can be found, though a few shreds of clothing and trashed SCAs and other devices can be found, in total disrepair.

› Unfortunately, as the Voidtreckers will find that despite the noise the security spiders make, damaging the spider-bots is what causes rooms to go into lockdown for five hours. This might happen again, if they come across the spiders again. The best policy seems to be to stay hidden and quiet, avoiding the bots and listening out for the beeping from the SCA's for warnings of invisible monsters.

› However, searching around will provide the key to finally being able to give Voidtreckers staff level access, after a few hours. Allowing them better access to different areas, including areas where their powers work.

› The areas get more shabby, away from the gleaming metal of the main space station and down to more service areas. Metal is rustier and some walk ways don't seem entirely stable. They are less likely to meet the spider bots here but more likely to hear the beeping that signals monsters are near.

› Here there are less places to hide, and though there are rooms with beds and places to rest they don't seem to have the same protection as the rooms in the main space station area. It seems to be a choice between having abilities, or being in the relatively safer areas.

› But is anywhere truly safe? Because they may learn, from listening on comms or just noticing themselves that ›Tidus Masumi Sera, Ken Amada, Rich, Essek and Xehanort have disappeared over the course of the last few hours. Their names still solid on the SCA but not able to be contacted.

DAY THREE

dwindling hope. By the third day it is becoming more apparent that there is no one to rescue here. Or if there is they are like their own comrades, somewhere inaccessible. Because as the morning of day three comes to an end it is clear that yet more voidtreckers have vanished. Demyx, Elidibus, Freeza, Zelda, Lan Jingyi and Zagraeus are nowhere to be seen.

The space station remains eerily quiet and those who are still searching will find themselves going deeper into the workings of the space station.

control sector. Eventually they will come to a sign KEEP OUT: ENGINE CONTROL ROOMS.

Their SCAs will allow them through. But straight away it is clear this is no normal set of engine rooms.

› The first room has a floor full of tiles with symbols on them leading over to the door. Any flight and teleportation powers do not work here. It is not a difficult puzzle to solve, a basic pattern recognition but anyone who steps on a wrong tile will find a sleeping gas shoots upwards and they will awaken at the door again, having lost around half an hour.

› The second room if they get through the first is less a room and more a series of small compartments with sliding doors. A little like a maze though there is no way any one can get through it alone for it requires people pressing different buttons at different places in order to work their way through. A teamwork puzzle where a wrong move could leave someone stranded in a small box cubical.

› The third room is made of a large console with all the buttons and levers that any good science fiction fan could wish for. There are computers to hack, passwords to guess and secret compartments to open. Even voidtreckers who are not hackers or computer geniuses will be able to follow the clues to get through the systems. This might seem a little suspicious. Or they might just be relieved that it is not impossible.

If passwords are put in wrong too many times or the wrong steps are taken and not corrected quickly enough their SCA's will beep and invisible monsters will flood the room attacking them. Voidtreckers will come to just outside the door to the first engine room.

However if they manage to get to the end of the sequence the lights will flash green as all systems are restarted...

And those in the final engine room will find themselves in a large hanger bay. It has no doors, no windows and nothing inside. But, they will be glad to hear, no monsters.

Be it in this hangar bay or elsewhere in the space station the voidtreckers will spend a final uneasy night...

Day One

Arrival

"Right." Otoha's not noticed any issues with powers yet - he doesn't normally have them outside of the armor. Orange team can handle the computers - probably. "Red team, keep an eye out for any and all threats as usual. Any of the other teams, let us know if you're going to want someone. We don't know what we're going to be facing."

That... sounds leader-like, right? He moves himself off to the side and slumps slightly. He's got to look impressive, but he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.


Too Quiet

'Please take shelter'? Not while there's other team members in possible danger, not when they're watching Purple's back. Otoha sticks out near the corridor, sword in hand as he waits -

And then slashes, contacting something that throws him back. He struggles to get up but notices the doors closing. ... There's too many people, he can't defend them all if he's stuck out here - "Everybody inside!" He yells, his voice carrying.

If there's anyone outside he can grab, he will. Otherwise, into the room he goes, checking on whoever's around. "Anyone hurt?" He might have a small bump on his head, but it'll heal.


Day Two

Worker's Halls

Wonderful. He's so goddam thrilled that he's in a place like this. He sighs and gets to work, offering to help peple cross gaps, shining the light where people might need, and generally trying his best to be helpful. He's no good at investigation so he's content to let the smarter people take over while standing guard.

The noises around them aren't making him feel any better, though.


Day Three

Dwindling Hope

People are missing. Not just from other teams, but his people, too. It makes him uneasy, and whenever the group stops to rest he can be found pacing, wearing bare spots in metal that probably can't support it that long. He looks troubled, and he's tired enough that he's not bothering to hide it very well.

Seto's anger and fear have both skyrocketed in the last day or so. Several people he cares for have now vanished over the course of this trip, and they seem to be making zero progress.

He's gotten a few scrapes along the way too, but nothing unbearable. So he trudges over to Otoha, biting back a growl of frustration at another dead end in the search.

For Kaiba, the mission immediately starts on a sour note: Yugi is gone. His name doesn't seem to be in gold, but they're completely cut off from each other. Not exactly the way to start their lives together.

But he refocuses with a simple scowl and lights the way into the darkness, well-used to living in a paranoid state. He spots a computer and his fingers fly over the keyboard as quietly as possible, pulling up...HR files? Completely unencrypted.

"If this was my HR director, I would've fired them." Nothing useful. He sighs and soldiers on.

Chaos in the corridors. Kaiba's heart races, and he wishes he had anything more than a few measly knives to defend himself with. Something's swarming him, this is terrible---and he somehow finds himself jumping through a door, and locked in the living quarters.

"So this is going great." He hasn't yet noticed the additional missing, but...there's enough frustration to start with, as he presses his hand against the wall and groans. It's going to be a long mission. And the worst part hasn't even become clear to him yet.

Day One

Too Quiet - 1

Goku isn't one for exploration or investigation. Unless he has a means to find what he's looking for, he's not bothering with looking. Even more so was that he was weak. Again. Seriously, what was up with that?

It was then he heard the strange roaring and the spider robots telling people to get into shelters. Nope, not him, not him at all!

Goku drops into a fighting position, grinning as he does.

"You guys get going! I'll handle this!" He said, trusting his instincts to strike out a punch at what seems to be nothing, nailing whatever is attacking head on.

Day Two

Worker Halls

After the encounter with the beast the night before, Goku's Voidtrekker uniform is in tatters. No biggie - he's been in worst shape. He's dumped his hoodie at this point.

Entering the now-accessible Worker Halls, Goku can feel his powers returning to full. Which is good as there are fewer spider-bots around and he can feel the presence of something here.

"We're not alone here, but I can't tell what and where..." Goku uttered.

Day Three

Control Center

As you come across the first door, you'll find the body of Goku lying there. Upon closer inspection, you find out that, yup, he's not dead - just asleep. The idiot probably failed the first test.

And he's snoring loudly.

He was less than pleased to have realised near immediately that he was weak. Like a kitten. Jingyi didn't actually believe he was weak, but compared to how he should feel, this was akin to being tied up with rope that restricted qi flow. He frowned as he yanked open another cabinet in the hangar, seeing more empty containers. Shuffling through them and muttering to himself, he only paused when something clunked with weight, brow twitching and tail giving a shiver down its length.

He reached for the object that had fallen over, the whole of it very vaguely reminding him of the SCA around his wrist. "What in the world are you?"

Jingyi randomly pressed at buttons until the screen lit up with a soft green light. He paused, reading the two words on screen, and looked toward whoever was nearest.

"Hey, it says Scan SCA. How do I do that?"

The chatty metal spiders had skittered off when the beeping on the SCA grew louder. Jingyi hadn't seen what hit, and it took a long moment of disorientation to realise there was nothing to see, just the SCA and the beeping and hell.

The first rooms had been closing when he pinged to the idea, the flashes of light that came with the blasts leaving himself and others pain-struck and breathless. Jingyi didn't have his qinggong speed, but he did have years of training and a sword; enough to use the sheathed blade to knock up into a flash of light to hit something invisible and solid, knocking it back with his free hand reaching out to take hold.

a. Not that this strategy was working when the number of enemies was a blur of beep beep beep beating faster than his heart. Another shot from further down the hall hit him in the ribs, knocking him back and stealing his breath. Jingyi fell to one knee, struggling to breathe, teeth bared and tail whipping around to smack into whatever he'd been holding onto, sending it back too while the pain of contact shivered up his spine. It was still his best tactic, and he called out a warning to another Voidtrecker when he saw the burst of light that indicated another attack had been thrown, but had not landed on its intended target.

b. He spotted another Voidtrecker struggling after being hit, and forced his gasping lungs to draw beath before rolling toward them and springing up into a run. Jingyi hit the ground again by their side, slinging an around around their waist or shoulders to haul them with him into a room closing to their left. They barely made it inside before the doors finished closing, and not without a parting shot from the unseen attackers, hitting Jingyi in the back.

Idia Shroud | Orange Team

i) Day One – Arrival
After the last mission Idia is not looking forward to this at all, half tempted to just stay on the train and enjoy the quiet while others were away. However the mention of a space station via the train is just something he can’t give up the chance to explore. Moving with some hesitation to step into the darkness, Idia’s fire blue hair is a beacon of light against it. For a moment, before dimming in a way he’s never noticed it react before. It’s not fully ‘out’, but it certainly has lost a lot of its normal glow to it.

He also notices his skull-shaped floating computer seems to be having some issues, it not moving quite as smoothly as it should, and even suddenly dropping out of the air, before it corrects itself, much to Idia’s shock and distress. The fact that his magic fails when he tries to light up the place doesn’t aid his loss of hope for the situation… but he’s easier to accept it than the last stop.

ii) Day One – Exploring and Scanning In
The darkness and his computer issues aside, Idia is still hungry to search around. With caution, but still wanting to learn. After poking around at those doors and finding no way through them even with his computer, he goes searching through the other rooms, happy to discover other technology there.

Including that screen device. He’s turning it over in his hands, both interested in it and also scoffing at its poor design, tempted to just pull it apart but first seeing if he can get it operating. He’s happy to find it works, carefully considering it’s instructions to ‘SCAN SCA’. Should… should he try it on someone else first? Then again, why waste time, holding it to his own SCA and following the prompt to set himself as a visitor.

He may not be the most forthcoming with this information, but will easily be seen playing with the device, so those near him or overseeing what he’s doing will be able to note he’s accessed something others haven’t.

iii) Day One – West Route
Idia trails along with his team as they head further into the station, clutching his skull computer in his arms since he doesn’t trust it to operate fully right now with that lack of magic. He’s easily distracted by the holographic projectors, happy to see technology he recognizes. Others may have to remind him to keep moving as he’s looking at ways to pull the projectors apart to scavenge them for parts.

When they reach the next set of locked doors Idia will try his best to get through the system, both on any control panels that may be visible, as well as trying to intergrade his computer into it. With no luck. It does mean he has another chance to go through those rooms though, and hopefully not trigger any of those traps lying in wait. As for any of the more spooky aspects, they will all initially get a jump out of Idia, before he’s able to calm back down again and continue on.

iv) Day One – Too Quiet
As with all the other strange sounds and events going on, the arrival of the little spider-bots makes Idia jump. Then want one. Or two. Imagine what he could do with those parts if he got his hands on them. Any plans to catch them is instantly forgotten at the sound of that roar and the warning from his SCA. No, no, no, no, no! Hiding now! Hiding well! Idia stuffing his tall frame into whatever space he can hide in and stuffing as much of his slightly glowing hair into the hood of his coat to try and blot out any light coming from him. And just put his head down and hope.

Day Two and Three

i) Day Two – Access
During their time in lockdown Idia’s spent it trying to get his computer working fully again, but not been able to, playing around with that scanner he had found, and any other technology he can pull apart in the rooms. It’s not as much as he would hope. He had brought some basic tools with him from the Lab, but nothing as good as what he had access to at home. Other than that it’s getting some food and napping for a bit.

Once free he does take note of the parts of devices down hallways, half tempted to pick through them… and making himself leave them. Even he knows survival was more important than scavenging pieces. At least for now. After he learns from others what has happened. Then maybe going back to picking up any useable pieces from the broken SCAs and robots. Other time will be spent on those computers, working through the system to try and unlock that Staff access for them all.

ii) Day Two – Worker Halls
Those… signs were not helping Idia’s anxiety over this all; the locked areas, the unknown monsters, the missing people. Maybe this all shut down for a very good reason. However the teams wanted to move forward, and Idia didn’t want to be left behind. His curiosity also takes over as they head deeper, examining the broken down remains and questioning just why it was in this state. Just how was it in this kind of condition? Shouldn't these be active areas? Why were they in such a bad way that would had taken time for this to happen?

“This doesn’t make sense.” He’ll be heard muttering as he looks over that rust and poorly maintained areas.

And people kept going missing. Just what was going on?

iii) Day Three – Control Sector
That ‘Keep Out’ was meaningless at this point, they had come too far, and Idia has a feeling they weren’t going to be able to turn back easily. The engine room though is a marvel, each room was more and more amazing, and he’s able to forget the earlier troubles, at least while they work their way through this.

And Idia loved a good puzzle. It also transforms him, away from that shy, jumpy guy who struggles to speak a word to others, instead working with those in the rooms with him; patient and helpful to get them all through the rooms, carefully pointing out what people needed to do once he works it out for himself, and quick to be positive they can make it work again if they fail. This was a game, and Idia knew games.

Tidus ; Purple/Red side ; OTA

Cool. Spooky, mostly dark space station? Great, just what they needed.

Tidus grumbles under his breath, more a sigh of indignation than anything. His SCA light barely helps, but it does some good - but not quick enough, when he walks straight into something, bumping his head and stumbling back.

"Wha-" Fight mode wants to go off in response, but as his SCA arm wrist comes up, so does the light flash across the... machine? No- vehicle, Tidus realises.

He circles it, knocking at it, eyeing it. "How do you open up...?"

Hi, is there a pair of craft!car keys to this thing?

2: normal

"Uurrgh... where'd everyone go?"

There's...rooms. Countless rooms so far (okay, maybe Tidus is exaggerating), of just - nothing. Useful for business meetings or whatever, but as Tidus shines a light around the interior, searching for anyone-

"We haven't found a single person yet? And I'm not seeing any blood anywhere."

Even if he is using a flashlight from a watch to search for it.

3: too quiet (aftermath)

He's stuck, in some room after the fighting - not because he actually wanted to listen to those small bot things or anything, but because the madness of the attack somehow threw him that way.

And then wouldn't let him back out, no matter how he rattles at the door handle or bangs a fist against it.

But it's useless. Unless the other person in the room wants to give it a go before it, Tidus moves away, looks back, flashing his light to see where he is, who else is in there with him.

"We got locked in!"

Maybe it's a bit too hopeful of a thought, but Inigo says it exactly because he's trying to hold on to that hope. He doesn't want to consider the alternative - that maybe it's too late. That maybe they couldn't prevent what was about to happen to the people here.

Though, like Tidus also notes, in that case it's just weird that there's no blood either. No trace of an attack.

Inigo keeps turning the thought back over in his mind, unable to fully think of what he wants to believe here. He ends up just shaking his head, turning so he can stare at Tidus's face in the dim light.

"Maybe they're hiding."

Lan Wangji / The Untamed AU / Blue Team

Arrival
Lan Wangji recognises the sensation of having no spiritual energy very quickly, and he's not best pleased about it. He appears calm and collected, no matter how he feels inside but those who know him well may be able to see that he is uncomfortable. He ignores it in favour of registering his SCA with the system and potentially pressing on into the dark.

West Route
Investigating with Lan Wangji is an exercise in patience; he will want to examine everything and try to keep things as they were when they arrived in case it effects anything. While investigating some of the rooms with drawers, you will here him ask;
"Do you have a portable light source at all?"

West Route

Idia needs a moment to consider if that was a joke at his expense, considering his fiery, but normally brighter, hair. Whatever that was limiting everyone's abilities also having dulled down it's normal glow, but it's not fully gone. He wouldn't be surprised if it was a joke... but, well, the man seems serious, so he steps over. In his hands is his skull-shaped computer, which normally would be floating but was struggling without having access to its magical tech. Better to hold it than risk it breaking.

Idia turned the skull towards the drawers in question, using the light from the triangle in its forehead to light up the area. "There."

day 1; too quiet - for emporio

Alice has absolutely no idea what's going on.

An empty station other than those weird spider-like things, then the warning, then the attack, now the lockdown. It feels like so much has happened, and now it's all been thrown into a way too sudden stop. A lockdown? For five hours?

This feels like such an odd mission. It makes her think of that other mission where they were stuck inside that way too white station, and nothing seemed to make sense. It feels like that one, but just about ten times as wild, and Alice can only hope that no one she cares about got hurt in the attack just now.

She glances around the room, trying to see who else is there. Her gaze skips quickly over some of the less familiar faces, but then she spots one she was actually worried about just now.

Which means Alice quickly makes her way through the people gathered in the room, and towards Emporio. She kneels once she's in front of him to be on a slightly more even level - or at least to not look down on him - with an actual hint of concern in her eyes.

".. Are you alright?"

Xue Yang | The Untamed | Red Team

North Route
Xue Yang isn't afraid of whatever was going on. He is heading up the north route and along the meeting rooms. He moves inside and starts to rummage around the rooms. He figures they are supposed to find something or someone that is going to answer what is going on. This isn't a typical mission but he likes not having something typical. Typical is boring.

If the room is left in worse shape then when he arrived...well that is just what happens when you want to search in the most thorough of ways. Just as he is leaving one of the rooms he hears sobbing. He follows the sound but it never seems to be getting any louder.

"If you are in trouble you should stop running away from the people who are stuck here until we help you."

He is probably not the best person for negotiating with a scared person...

Fight the invisible fiend
Xue Yang isn't going to run. Especially when told to do so by some strange spider things. Instead he has a sword in hand and is ready to defend against this strange entity. Unfortunately it seems he can't use any of the elemental boosts he normaly has but he is still a skilled swordsman. But it is hard when he can't see what he is after.

There are a few quick movements and he hears the sword hit. But he is also hit. He feels something strike him and he stumbles backwards. He puts his hand against his side, feeling the ache of the hit. He smirks, "That's not fair...You can see me but I can't see you. You're lucky I'm not afraid of an unfair fight."

Locked up
Xue Yang is injured and had fought as long as he could before he finally ended up in one of the rooms. But now he is locked inside. At least the enemy is locked out of the room and didn't seem like it wanted to kill him. Which is annoying but there isn't much he can do about that as he now sits there and tries to suck up the back that the thing got a few good hits in.

He sits on the floor and just rests his back against the wall as he tries to investigate his injuries.

She had fought against things she could not see, against monsters. Or people. Invisible people. She had no idea. She just know she had fought and then she had stumbled into this room as alarms had blared and now...

Now she was trapped. She tried the door. She tried yanking it, she tried messing with the handle, she tried kicking it. In the end she let out a frustrated growl and turned around, realising there was someone else in the room.

Xue Yang.

I. Normal – North Route

It likely was not a surprise at this point that Demyx went with the purple team, but what might be more surprising was that when they were blocked, he just moved to start looking.

Obviously, to him at least, nothing would be out in the open.

There had to be a code somewhere, that was just logical, and if he seemed to be looking in stranger places for it, all the better for him.

He would claim he wasn’t clever, it was just experience.

II. Too Quiet

There was shelter and he wasn’t above ducking into a room, but the fact that they couldn’t get out after that, well that was just great wasn’t it?

Demyx wasn’t really in the habit of being trapped anywhere with people.

He gave a half-hearted pull at his portal and got nothing for his trouble. Huh.

He wasn’t much of a lock picker, he had magic for that, so he took a seat. “Guess we’re stuck here for awhile, huh?” He smiled.

III. Staff Area

He wanted to poke his nose where it didn’t belong, unsurprisingly, and he turned to whoever came with him and whispered.

“Stick with me.” He frowned. “I can bail us out of here if we need to.”

Demyx at least, figured they could get back to safety.

Perhaps, he could even be sent to scout ahead. His powers were working here and two could play the invisble game.

IV. Wildcard

[ Demyx can be found doing any manner of things - until on Day three, he can no longer be found, having vanished into thin air. ]

III, before vanishing

It might have disoriented somebody else having been stripped of powers, whether earned or granted, but Roland’s lived a longer life not having anything to his name but his wits about him. Was this place creepy? Yes. Was it going to get him to lose his cool? Absolutely not. (Even if temporarily, they had managed to find the proverbial tear in the blanket keeping their powers smothered. Best to acclimatize to the worst case scenario.)

But hugging walls and jumping at shadows wasn’t getting them anywhere, and that’s pretty dicey in itself. Roland follows close at Demyx’s heels without much hesitation then, gun poised and pointing down. He nods, brows furrowed deep.

“Thanks. I’ll take you up on that.” Roland feels the hairs on the back of his neck rise. When he turns around, there’s only empty space behind him. He frowns even deeper. “But this is starting to get ridiculous. We should have seen even just a single passenger by now.”

Day 1 (Day 2 and 3 below)

Arrival

Razzy looks around with the flashlight, taking in the red lights and focuses a moment. Then she sighs, and with the most put upon tone calls out to anyone nearby. "Test powers and magic. There's interference." She shook her head. "Gotta transform before hand. Get into the habit again," she muttered to herself.

Once the doors don't work, she begins searching around, wandering into the office. She starts opening the lockers and drawers before turning to the computer, followed with another sigh. She can't hack, after all. She does pause as she finds a pen, looking it over thoughtfully. She hums and pockets the blue and green pen because hey, nice pen.

Normal

Razzy is humming as she watches the map unfold, looking around the ship. Rather unperturbed by the grim atmosphere. When one IS a thing that bumps in the night from birth, its a little hard to recognize when things are creepy.

She glances at every room they pass until they hit the door they're denied and its then she heads back and with a practiced precision, she starts going everything. Checking the underside of tables and chairs, testing the stability of the furniture, the creepy music and everything barely a thought.

At least until she feels eyes on her, looking up then, trying to spot where the feeling is coming from.

Chaos Ensues

The first reaction?

"Oh, you're cute!" Razzy said, kneeling down to see the beeping robot better, offering a friendly smile. Until the warning comes and she tilts her head. "Are we the unkno-"

Then her head snaps up as the roar comes. She's on her feet. They're on a space station, powers are limited with a group unused to it, unknown enemy. Too many things can go bad. "Need information, we need to retreat!" She shouts, and is going to focus on getting people into rooms because if the robots thing the rooms are safe, they might actually be safe.

And when she realizes she hears movement she can't see, the more determined she'll be, quick to dodge out of the way of blasts. Ghost training has its advantages, after all.

The Missing

Razzy is leaning on the wall near the door, holding a chair in hand as long as the thudding continues. Only lowering it when it stops, but she's watching the door even as the head count starts.

"Invisible enemies," she'll offer. "Blasts. I think they're...concussive. Not burning type. Must be dumb if they're gonna ram doors," she said, listening to people sound off.

Except...

"Danny?" She calls out. "Danny, you need to check in."

The lack of answer is only going to get her more and more upset.

Day 2 and 3

Access
Five hours is a Long Time to deal with worry and panic. She's broken one of the chairs to have a leg to fight with like a bat. "Stealth is important with invisible enemies," she'll offer. "Sound is gonna be the best cue, so the quieter we are, the better. Robots seem to know what to stop them, so if we're in a pinch, see if we can find a robot to find a safe place."

When the door opens, she will exit slowly, careful as she moves through the danger. She's had more then enough practice sneaking around with and without ghost powers.

She'll head for the kitchen. Mostly for the option of more weapons and because its a place people gather. More likely to potentially find a person, or a clue to what they're dealing with. The uptick in damage is pretty telling, she thinks.

Workers Hall

Ominous warnings on door haven't stopped her before and they won't now, especially when she still doesn't know where Danny is. Even if there's an option to transform here, she stays human. One, the change might draw attention. And two, she's used to walking on unstable terrain. And three, she is probably the lightest, so its safer for her to check the pathway for any of her companions without it turning utterly disastrous. Now whether or not anyone ASKED her this...

Well, honestly, she'd do it anyway.

Powers are for when there's real danger.

Control Sector

Its the problem of some places, powers work, some places, they don't. She could go on a more thorough search on her own. But she could also end up in a section with no powers and be stuck on her own. And with powers, she would risk it. But with no powers, she knows her human form can't take on a monster alone. Escape, sure, probably that, but she can't beat them, and she wouldn't be able to get everyone else to safety.

It was frustrating. But staying with the group was the better call right now. She can't save Danny if she's dead. She can't save Danny if she's dead. She can't save Danny if she's dead.

She sees the first puzzle, mind already working on the pattern. She even tests a space or two with the chair leg before she moves across the floor pattern and takes a look at the second room. "It's another puzzle!" She called, taking in the parts.

And she pauses. "This is....a terrible security system," she said aloud. "Recognizing a pattern...the doors...the blasts...even the robots..."

Its like everything has a solution. A solution that could be solved without having to know anything about the station itself. Invisible monsters without instantly fatal blasts. The weird music and red lights.

"Its like a Haunted Game."

Xie Lian | Heaven Official's Blessing

Kitchen
Xie Lian somehow ended up in one of the kitchens. He walks around the room, investigating the area for anything that might be useful in their current predicament. As he is searching through some cupboards he manages to trigger a false bottom to open. He doesn't know what he touched or how it happened but suddenly there is quite a mess.

Spilling from the cabinet is what looks like small bolts, clattering down onto the ground. The noise fills the room and echoes through the nearly empty areas. He Bends down to investigate, picking some of them up so that he can get a closer look.

Always the unlucky one, Xie Lian stands up straight again as he hears something coming. Apparently his noisy investigating has caught the interest of whatever monsters have been roaming the area. And at the moment Ruoye isn't even helpful. The little bandage hasn't been acting the same since they got here. So he seems to be on his own. He picks up a pan and gets ready to defend himself against anything that decides to enter the kitchen.

Romeo has found the kitchen too and was sneaking around looking for things. This place was really strange and though they had been told bad things had happened here and they had to save people so far they hadn't found anyone at all.

He sees the man who he recognises from the train and his eyes go wide as the bolts clatter to the floor. Especially when he hears a noise. He runs over.

"We got to hide sir!"

Day One

And this adventure was already off to a terrible start.

Danny's first hint that something is wrong happens when he tries to pull some ectoplasm into his hand to light the way. And he gets nothing.

But there could be other reasons for that, right? And using the SCA light is almost as good.

The second hint happen when he tries to walk through the locked door.... straight into the very solid door.

"Oh come on! No powers! Again?"

Normal, North Route:
Doing this without powers was going to be a pain. Danny moves through the station with far more caution than was usual for him. With the generally spooky atmosphere he keeps his thermos close. He couldn't feel if there were other ghosts here right now. But someone had sure made this place into the perfect situation for one to show up.

"If this ends up with us having to fight ghosts, I don't know whether I'm going to laugh or scream."

Arrival

Day One

Normal, West Route:
The space station environment and the spooky atmosphere aside, this was the most comfortable Conan had been on a mission in quite some time. The basics of investigation did not change. Very professionally, he sweeps through each room he passes, sorting through files and abandoned belongings.

On his second pass through, after the discovery of the door, he finds a briefcase in one of the meeting rooms. He finds several files about a company and a scrap of paper with an intriguing clue printed on it. Picking it up, he takes it towards the locked door in hopes of comparing notes with other investigators.

Lockdown:
Conan stares at the now locked door with a sour expression.

"Nothing to do now but see what we're working with here," he announces.

He holds up his SCP to light the area as best as he could.

Vegeta | Red Team

i) Day One – Arrival
Vegeta is NOT in a good mood to start with. Bulma was missing. Not ‘gone’ like someone who was leaving would be; their name in gold and still around but not really there. No, she was gone. Taken. And he know the train is to blame. …and that he can’t do anything about it. Vegeta is only hopeful she will return, and that it better be sooner rather than later. Or he would find a way to take this train apart, no matter the consequences.

So he’s already in a poor mood when they arrived, no hesitation as he stepped out, ready to take his anger out on a good fight. But the instant he lands he can feel something is off. At first it’s the lack of ki sensing, it instantly vanishing, as if he just lost a sense. Turning back to watch others get off the train, he’s quiet about it as he considers this.

Then falls over as he moves to lift himself off the ground to fly. Vegeta’s able to catch himself before he fully hits the ground, landing on knees and hands and staying there a moment to work out just what the hell happened!?

ii) Day One – Too Quiet
The spider-bots mostly go ignored by Vegeta, giving a glance to their warning but little else. He’s not quite sure what is going on yet with his abilities, but he was part of Red Team, and they were sent in to clean up the area, so he’s not planning to run from a fight. Whatever was coming for them Vegeta would face head on.

It doesn’t take that long for him to realize just how much he’s missing here. It’s even worse than the last stop; there he at least had his strength and speed. Here? He couldn’t even keep up with those invisible beings, the lack of ki sensing limiting his chance to tell where these things were, but still picking up enough signs as an experienced fighter to get the idea of where they were; the sound of movement, the shifting of items around the beings. It’s a struggle to land a hit, they were fast, but Vegeta managed to get a few in.

Only to note both that lack of strength, and the pain he felt from the hit. A jarring impact that travelled up his arm, a type of pain that was so rare for him to feel; striking something that was too hard for him to break. And the pain lingered. A strike like that shouldn’t had hurt him, yet it did. Nothing major, but enough to leave an ache. Forget it. Head back in the fight. As he wasn’t going down without one.

iii) Day Two
The wait had been an annoyance, Vegeta had just wanted to get on with this all and get it over and done with. He however had to take time to recover from that last fight, or at least the best he could with what they had available to them. He’s more mindful as they continue to explore, aware of his own limitations now with facing those things… it won’t stop him from fighting again, just not intentionally drawing their attention.

As the move further into the station and into those staff areas, Vegeta feels that instant change of his abilities coming back, including that healing he had been training and improving since their time under those false memories. He will take the time to heal himself and any others of light injuries, anything beyond a slight bone fracture still beyond his skills right now. With his powers back he’s keen to keep an eye out for others and anything that may come after them, looking forward for a rematch and pay back.

iv) Day Three
This control sector is a first for him, it unique versus everything else he’s seen before. He’ll quietly survey everything before thinking to touch any of the controls, trying to spot anything that may stand out as a function he recognizes. As the teams progress through the puzzles Vegeta will play his part to help out. He’s not much for games, but he does understand a range of control systems, but this was… it felt like a child’s game. Who in their right mind made this?

ii) Day One – Too Quiet

Normally Yondu'd pretty heavily stick with Blue, just out of his sheer sense of protectiveness. Sometimes he'd get fed up and exasperated with the mission, but inevitably his attitudes would shift to looking out for the other crewmates as they finished their work up. He was not a saint, but he was a dedicated kind of guy.

But he's wandered off on his own, just to investigate more ground because Orange is obviously going to investigate the fuck out of a place and he might as well go find a lock to pick. That's what puts him in range of hearing the scuffle after getting surprised by spider-bots. He'd done as he was told and ducked into a room, but he's back out of the room in a heartbeat, looking for a crewmate having a time.

And, hoo boy, that crewmate is Vegeta and if that's not a goddamn horrible sign he doesn't know what is.

"Vegeta! What the- the fuck?!" The words slip from a concerned declaration that he's here to help to not understand what is even going on. He has fought some invisible shit before. He has not liked it. It's worse that apparently that it's Vegeta and he's not just shredding through them, but he moves up beside the man to give him some relief.

Kitty Pryde | Purple Team | OTA

Day One - Arrival

Kitty is already a little on edge as they step into the darkened corridor. The fact that they were on a mission so soon after the last one already feels like a bad omen, but even using the flashlights on their SCAs only helps so much.

She walks up to one of the larger doors, inspecting it for a moment before the buzzing on the panel startles her, and she looks over.

"...SCA unknown?" she repeats the words on the screen in front of her. Then she frowns. "These things can read the SCAs?"

Just what is this place?

Normal - North Route

Kitty walks along the corridor, peering into the meeting rooms she passes for any sign of...anything. As she continues, she crosses her arms, as if trying to ward off a chill, and glances around her.

She feels like she's being followed. And she's sure it's not any of the Voidtreckers. But there doesn't seem to be anyone else around.

Coming across a door and seeing that access is denied, she sighs, blowing some hair from her face. "My phasing ability would come in really handy right now."

"Yeah, it seems like anytime it would be the most useful, it just doesn't work," Razzy said. "Honestly, after the last mission, I was under the impression power nerfing was a rare thing."

Day 1 (Day 2 and 3 below)

Arrival
Shadow is aware of what computers are. He's seen them a few times in Nautilus. But they're still largely foreign, as is this whole sci fi setting. But if they were looking for people, he would look for people, see if any are hidden in any hidey holes.

It doesn't take long to notice powers aren't working.

Which is incredibly annoying. Was he actually going to have to make a real sword to take on missions just in case? Apparently because not having one is incredibly annoying in clearly a disaster situation.

He is looking over the craft curiously. There were enough to worry about the door, but this seemed like some kind of storage or vehicle from what little he knows. He knocks on the side of it. "Now what are ya...?"

Normal: West
The classrooms are more familiar. His limited experience with computers were mostly connected to classrooms. He hums as he sees the holographic projections. "Tech and illusion magic?" He murmured curiously, between collecting anything that looked useful. And water bottles.

If there's survivors, it might be good to have water on hand.

He even checks out a few closets, finding a store room full of crates! It doesn't take him long to search, his eyes are better in the dark then the day, even if the supernatural aspect are taken out of them. But most of the crates are empty until he finds a first aid kit!

"Survivor supplies it is," he said with a sigh, taking the first aid kit with as he continues the search until there's a way through the door. Pausing at times, looking around.

He's careful to make sure he's always near a wall and keeps track of the entrances and exits.

Too Quiet
For a moment, just a moment, he thinks the feeling of being watched was the robot. Maybe it was cameras. Maybe there is someone in a security place somewhere, watching. He's Mostly Sure that's how cameras work.

Until he hears the roar and he hisses. He looks around, focusing first on the Blue Team kids. Yondu said there were kids to watch out for and he fully intended to do that. As well as anyone else who looked to be in need of help.

People who can't fight to safety first, then he can deal with any monsters and his own safety.

Day 2 and 3

Access
Shadow is silent as he steps out of the room when the doors unlocked. He pays attention to shadows, looks for the oddities that he's used to picking out others usually can't, listening for any signs of life. Only once the coast is clear will he motion for anyone else to come out, stepping out into the darkened hall.

Time to search for a way forward.

Day 2 Trick

The thing is, Shadow can almost go through walls. If there's a gap. Which is Extremely Hard to find on a space station, he's finding. He's trying to find a way through the wall to where he hears noises, a vent, a crack, anything.

But there is nothing, even as he bangs on the wall, trying to get a proper ANSWER out of the person there.

Workers Halls
POWER. Its like being able to breathe, when his body feels lighter as he steps into the shabby area. He immediately bends up a sword to his hand and a sheathe to his back. "If anyone needs a weapon, tell me now. There's power now, but I dunno if that's gonna last," he said to his group.

"I can keep us in the dark for now, but we need to be quiet," he added, keeping his steps unnaturally light. He doesn't float, just in case that cuts out, but at least he can keep the metal from creaking under foot.

Dwindling Hope

There's no response from Zelda. Shadow doesn't have a major reaction at first. Just calling again. And again. And again as they move through the inner workings of the station, looking for people.

But she doesn't respond. She doesn't respond at all.

The darkness gets deeper around whoever is with him.

"I'm going to injure the next monster we see. Then I'm going to follow it to its next." There is a deadly calm in his words. The fact his form is becoming a mix of a body and dancing shadows says there is more to it.

Day 3 Trick

Shadow does keep up his investigations. Which is when he opens the drawer and a bunch of marbles crash to the floor.

He looks down at the loud noise and he snorts, drawing his sword. "Well, that'll work."

Rich Goranski | Be More Chill | Orange Team | Day 1 and 2

Arrival

This place feels wrong. Rich is a bit of a nerd, as much as he tried to hide it, so he's seen enough horror movie settings to know when he's in one.

And when he's in a situation like that, he knows the best move is to stick together, so he runs up to anyone that looks like they may be going off alone.

"Hey, wait a sec. You really think it's a good idea to go on your own when the train dumped us in a Dead Space level?"

Searching

As much as he's more worried about the people around him, he feels a bit like sitting around and waiting for whatever monster is in here to attack them is probably a bad move. So he starts searching. He tries to find any information he can, whether it's from papers or from stray cell phones that give him a heart attack after hearing them ring. He's not usually finding much, but he sure is jumpy, probably giving quite a few people a fright in the process when he bumps into them and screams bloody murder.

During the search though, he does find a ration pack. It's probably good enough to last someone quite a few days in here... and frankly, with his adrenaline, Rich isn't very hungry, so he goes looking for anyone who might be in need.

"Hey, you're not looking too hot. You hungry? I have a bit of food here... it's probably astronaut space crap, but at least it'll fill you up."

Spider bots

Rich freezes when he first hears the robotic voices echoing down the hall. Of course. Of fucking course. If he had to land in any horror movie...

He dodges the first few spindly robots, before seeming to bristle.

"Take shelter? Yeah, like we can trust these freaks to be on our side!" He looks about ready to punch one, which probably isn't the smartest thought he's had, but looking at those things and hearing them talk gets static buzzing in his head...

To Rich' credit, Alice does stop walking the moment she hears him running up to her and speaking up like that. She even turns her head in his direction to listen what he's saying.

.. but that's when the obvious confusion about what he's saying sets in. Enough of it that it's actually visible on her face. If this were a cartoon, there would be question marks hanging over her head right about now.

"I will be fine," she then slowly says, just trying to ignore the part of what he's saying that she doesn't understand, and instead focus on the part she can grasp. "You know that I'm strong."

Day 1

It's immediately obvious to Vexen just stepping onto the station that something isn't right. His senses, normally heavily augmented by magic, are abruptly painfully limited. He feels practically blind, and it's not just because of the lack of light...though, that being a problem is a cause for concern in and of itself. As he clicks on his SCA flashlight, it becomes evident that his ears no longer taper to a point, though the way he's squinting through the dim light makes it difficult to tell his eye color.

"Step carefully." The words come out as an annoyed hiss as he flexes his fingers, confirming to himself that even basic spells don't work. "Magic appears to be completely non-functional here."

[Too Quiet]

For better or worse, Vexen was among those who fled into a nearby room in response to the alarm. When all settled down, checking in with certain people was his first priority, and a jolt of true terror ran through him when the message to Ansem simply...wouldn't go through. Any poor unfortunates stuck in the same room as him would, thus, get to witness him trying valiantly to force the door open. Without his powers, even his supernatural strength, such an effort is doomed to fail, and several times he winds up hissing in pain as he tries to shoulder or kick the door open, only for the door to win.

Arrival

She wouldn't have liked the vibe of this place even if it weren't for all the shit it's putting everyone through. But the dampening effect on her powers is something she notices right off the bat. On the bright side, she's practiced enough at sensing energy now that she knows immediately that she can't do it.

On the not-so-bright side, that means the suppression is even worse here than it was on their last mission.

Her rifle is in her hands before she's even taken a step forward. This is a familiar feeling - accompanied by an unfamiliar little clink as her ring finger meets the grip. She smiles as she's instantly reminded of what that means.

She still has one thing.

Too Quiet

There had been frustratingly few signs of life along the north route - at least not of any life that's here right now. So when the alarm sounds, Cassie makes her way to the doors quickly, lacking anything else to do.

She does not, however, go in just yet. Her rifle is out, and she remains near the entrance, looking to cover the escape of anyone who may be following behind her at the moment. She'll do it, too, whether she makes it in herself or not.

Day Two - Access

It's a sign of how dead this place is that it takes her a while to even notice her powers returning. She hadn't expected her reaction to be a frown when she did.

"Shit," she says, to no one in particular. "I still don't sense anybody."

The helmeted figure glances towards her. Murderbot - Rin - has been mostly quiet through this, speaking only when necessary, but this, apparently, warrants elaboration in its book.

"What do you mean?"

[I. Day Two ] - Lookin at you Mordin!

There are disadvantages to having a truly mortal body and not even the werewithal to muster aether even in the limited but varied way that mortals from his world can access. He still has the physical skills and a body fit from a warrior's path and an adventurer's calling. But these unseen foes had considerable advantage. Repelling the attackers in the latest exchange with a variety of Red Team's squad has earned him some serious bruising and a blow to his shield arm - he'd not brought the recently crafted axe simply because it was a less agile weapon, so sword and shield again for him- which definitely needed to be checked to see if it were fractured or just sprained.

But the Ascian was wise enough to drop away from the frontlines and call for a healer the moment there was a chance; he had no intention of stubbornly pushing forward until he collapsed. Elidibus will enter the area favoring his left arm. The shield is strapped to his back, sword sheathed at his side; no convenient way of causing those to poof into storage to ease the burden on his hurts. But if he could do that he wouldn't need to visit a healer.

"I'm the one who called. I'll be in your care," he offers to the one waiting for him.

Mordin walks over briskly, doing an initial assessment as he approaches. "Happy to be called. Better than waiting for emergency."

He knows Red team and their tendencies. They're the kind that have to be chased down so it's always refreshing when someone actually seeks out medical attention.

He'd prefer they just not need it, but that's not in the cards today.

Search and Scan

Yondu's decided not to go towards the classrooms just yet. Orange and Blue are both searching, and he knows Orange has a hefty amount of investigators. So he's veering after the usual combatants, looking with a thief's eye into some of the conference rooms. Checking the undersides of tables, in the cracks of panels on walls, holding his arrow out in his hand like a torch to look into places that the usual red light has left too dim. Little red streaks follow his movement.

"My fin's not workin' right," he mumbles to whoever's near him. He could turn on the arrow, yeah, but he cant operate it right now. Can't tell if it's because of the tech or that wire-addled meatsack he calls a brain or both. Inconvenient, either way. "Bodes well, don't it? You find anything?"

Not even the slightest clue for him. Even a phone under a chair turns up nothing.

Wei Wuxian looked through the meeting rooms with the rest of Blue and Orange and whomever else had come down this branching path, but now he was standing on the far side of an odd cardboard figure with their face cut out. He was staring through that oval hole with a speculative expression, fingers resting on the point of his chin.

"Hey," he said, catching sight of one of the people peering into the room he stood in, "Come over here for a moment? I want another perspective on this."

For the ones of particularly keen eyesight, on the patch of the cardboard cutout astronaut's shoulder reads Starcrossed.

Arrival

This is familiar territory, at least. He doesn't recognize any of the actual technology, but it's a hangar and they've been sent to rescue people. He knows what to do with that.

"Almost like home." Whatever passed for normal anymore.

Too Quiet

The good news is he doesn't need any powers to fight. The bad news is... it really helps to be able to see your enemy if your main weapon is a gun. He often pauses to make sure there's not a risk of friendly fire.

Eventually he has to take shelter like the others and spend the night asking about injuries. He only has to sleep for one hour, so he finds himself with a bit of spare time.

Day 2

The first priority is to find who needs medical attention. He needs to purchase a proper medical kit when he gets back to the train, but for now he makes do with what he can get. At least so far they haven't visited any world that can interfere with conventional medicine working.

"Any injuries?" No, actually, he doesn't trust anyone on red or purple to specifically come looking for a medic. They have this rude habit of telling them to stop fighting.

Day 3

Keep Out is the sign they put on the place where the interesting things are found. There might not actually be anyone to rescue here, but something is happening and they have to find out what. Engineering is often a notable location.

This... is less than familiar ground though. He sniffs when he sees the state of the engine room. "Peculiar."

Day One

Arrival

Lea stepped out of the train into the red-lit docking hangar. "...Cozy," he commented dryly before clicking on his SCA's flashlight. "What's the point of emergency lights that aren't actually bright enough to light anything? Anyway, we'd better take a look around."

Exploring

The longer he was here, the less he liked this place, and not just because their powers didn't work. He kept getting the feeling that there was someone behind him, hearing the sound of distant footsteps, but when he turned to look there was never anything there. He would have thought it was just his imagination playing tricks on him in the creepy atmosphere, but apparently he wasn't the only one hearing them.

Everywhere there were signs that people had been there- and relatively recently too, judging by the lack of dust-, but there was no one to be found, alive or dead. "Looks like something sure made people leave here in a hurry," he said, looking around an empty classroom. Even just a casual look around revealed various abandoned personal belongings, but no signs of where their owners might have gone. "And frankly, I'm beginning to think they had the right idea. This place is starting to give me the creeps..."

Day 2

Gaining Access

Lea had thought he didn't like this place yesterday. Now? Now he really didn't like it. Lord Ansem and several others were missing, and rather than marching off immediately to go try and locate them, they were forced to sneak around, trying to avoid the spider bots and freaking invisible monsters. Sneaking around had been fun as a kid, but when their friends might be in danger? It quickly lost its charm.

At least finding the trashed dining hall had netted him a makeshift weapon, namely a broken off metal table leg. It wasn't much, but hanging onto it made him feel slightly better. Slightly.

Workers Halls

"What in Light's name is going on here?", Lea growled under his breath. More missing people were added to the tally, this time with Tidus and Ken among them. And there was still no sign of the station's rightful inhabitants. Well maybe not no sign, but nothing helpful; torn up clothes and smashed SCAs didn't help them.

He almost wished for a proper enemy to fight. A monster, a Heartless, something straightforward. Almost, because actually wishing for one would probably make one actually appear, and even with powers, he wasn't sure of his chances in this place. It had him on edge, and not just because he was worried about his friends...

Day 3

Engine Room

More missing people, this time with Demyx among their numbers. And to add a new twist to everything, the engine room wasn't what he'd expected at all. "Who the heck puts RPG puzzles in their engine room?", Lea said.

Because that was what these felt like; puzzles from the various RPGs he'd grown up playing. Step on the right tiles. Open the right doors. Pull the right switches. At least here he felt like he has something to offer by way of solving this mystery though...

Engine Room

"Someone who's trying to fuck with us," she says. "Someone who thinks this is a game."
