Day 5 Domino: Let it Snow: Preperations

Early Evening

Due to some of the passengers having strange dreams those on the Voidtrecker Express should be expecting something soon and so it is around dinner time on the evening of the fifth day of Domino that everyone's SCA glows with the colour of the void, a holographic message appears with their next mission.

Those going to the dressing car will find the drawers and wardrobes open. Inside are a variety of warm weather clothes, all in team colours. Thick padded winter jackets, waterproof trousers. Hats, gloves, scarves. Thick boots and also a variety of ice skates. There are waterproof covers for a variety of sizes of bags and even some coils of rope.

It seems they are not arriving until the next morning and so they have time to plan as best they can.

Morning: Day Six

No matter if they stayed up late preparing or went to bed early to get some rest before the mission they will wake up the next morning to the morning announcement. "Good morning passengers. Today is day six of the month of Domino. A moment later the voice speaks again. "Our next stop is world#58291. Drop order: Purple, Blue, Red, Orange. Conditions are adverse and so all passengers must be ready to alite swiftly."

There is time for some final preparation.

Admittedly, a long string of text reading 'shhhhhhhhh!' is less effective than the audible equivalent, but whatever, she'll go with what she's got.

Nah. That would involve talking to people. She pulls out a small silk bag, and pours another handful of chestnuts into it. Here, take your silence snacks.

'You doing the Blue mission?'

"As always. And thank you." Ple Two wasn't one to go out of her way to offer her help to another crew, when she could keep an eye on people she was used to keeping an eye on.

[kumoko]

'I kinda want to skip Orange. I don't wanna end up stuck in another labyrinth...'

[pleple]

"I'm not trading places, if that's what you wanted." Who was in charge of those decisions anyways?

[kumoko]

'There's loads of Oranges, they wouldn't miss me.'

Well, she's not actually gonna skip it, because then Eva would make That Face and the bad press would put the brakes on Operation Get Everyone To Buy Me Snacks. But still, it's nice to imagine.

Huh.

'Why does Blue team have so few people, anyway?'

[pleple]

Ple Two shrugged. "The ebb and flow of personnel could be a problem, hm?"

It sure is weird that the split isn't even. How hard can it be to just fill up with random mobs so all the teams are the same?

Wait, does that make her a mob for Orange...

No way!

'Maybe I'll ask the feedback box.'

"A few straight answers would be nice." From the top. Please.

Well, they're on the train, and there's ICPs everywhere... She sidles over to their carriage's terminal, fumbles with her ticket until she can enter it, and navigates to the feedback app.

Ple Two is not going to lift a single finger to help, mind you. This is her choice.
