Orange Team Onward!
Arrival
Their flight path makes sure they are well out of the way of both the battles taking place and they get to the shield station within an hour as long as they fly quickly.
There are no enemy ships around but it is clear there has been an attack, the shield disk itself is damaged and there seems to be no power in the station.
Once they dock they will be met by some technicians who quickly explain the situation.
Help is needed everywhere. The power needs repaired, the shield needs repaired from the outside, there are injured technicians who need medical care. There is a small med-bay available.
Maintenance
Once the initial crisis is dealt with it is a case of keeping up with things. A patrol is needed to guard the station from other attacks, there are four shield stations in total and so the voidtreckers may chose to split themselves once things are a little calmer.
Keeping up the shields is an almost constant job, especially with the attacks. Once one thing is fixed it seems another thing is down. The maintenance itself is very technical but there are parts that can be done by the unskilled as long as they have direction.

Dyme wasn't a soldier, and he wasn't a technician. If it couldn't be solved by punching it a few times, he was out of his element. He could, however, handle patching up some of the actual technicians on site. He didn't mind a little blood, and he knew his way around basic things like bandages and getting a wound to stop bleeding with enough pressure.
It didn't stop his hands from shaking in between though, and when he stepped away he took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "You know, when people talked about missions to help people, I imagined something a little less stressful," he said.
b. Maintenance
He still wasn't a technician, but he could follow direction pretty well and be an extra pair of hands for someone. So long as they didn't mind dumbing things down for him or taking it a little slow.

Despite that, Waver was looking a little pale in the brief moment things had quieted down; he kept himself busy by taking count of the supplies they still had. Hopefully things wouldn't get bad enough that they ran out, but it would have been smart to keep a handle on what was still available.

Shaking his head a little, Dyme looked over. "You doing okay?"
no subject
The answer came with all the tone of someone that had, for lack of a better term, seen some shit. Whatever his idea of ‘worse’ actually was, Waver didn’t look like he’d elaborate.
“I’ll be fine, this is just kind of...a lot, even if it isn’t as bad as things could be. What about you?”
no subject
"I'm alright." He'd hold up, for the sake of helping people. "I just wish there was more I could do." But as it was he was doing his best, and that was what mattered, right?

Medbay
Her smile's a little pinched, but it's clear she believes what she's saying. They will get through this, and things will be fine. "How are you holding up, anyway?"
no subject
"I'm...I'll be alright," he said. He smiled a little, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I've never done anything like this before, so I'm just...trying my best."

Hopefully, but like she's admitting she doesn't know. Not right now at least. "And worse case, Princess can sing them to sleep for a bit while we get to work."
no subject
"Who's Princess?"
no subject
But she's pretty sure they both know that's not a realistic expectation right now. So, rather than say what they'd both thinking, she grabs that subject change and grins. "You know the pink fluffball that can be seen around the train sometimes?" When he's not sleeping, napping, with her, or curled up under a seat, or in his pokeball at least. "Would you like to meet him?"

"I do rather think this one is a little more exciting, although not so bad as the last one."

She runs a worried hand through her hair, already springing out of it's work-bun.
"I will admit, the stakes are far higher this time."
no subject
"Everything's gonna be alright here, though," he added. "There's a lot of talented people." Who actually knew what they were doing. He hoped. He wasn't one of them though, but he was trying his best.
no subject
"I am sure you would have done your best." She smiles understandingly at him
"Just as you are doing here."

Looking over he was at least glad he wasn't the only one who didn't seem to have magical healing powers or know more beyond the basics. "I guess we both are the same basic first aid, but nothing more, huh?"

"I can always ask him to teach you as well should you want it. Odds are it would be along the lines of technical stuff"
